Yes that would be interesting but Australia and New Zealand should join the AFC which they have tried in the past before establishing the OFC. But they should join the AFC.

If Australia and New Zealand joined the AFC where would the Pacific nations go as the OFC would basically cease to exist?

Well this is what i think would work:
OFC nations west of New Zealand play in AFC the rest in Sth America. I know that is tough but they could learn a lot more than in the AFC.

It is tough because Oceania is a contentious subject but it would be preferred to keep the OFC but my plan wwould be logical.

Or if nations east of New Zealand are divided into 2 groups South go to Sth America, North to Nth America.

That could be another plan but keeping the OFC would be the only way that I can see.

I see no team joining any other confederation in the future.

There could be an Oceania tourney where the top two teams go on to the Asian semifinals or something. I don't like the idea of the winner going onto an automatic berth.

That might work but that would mean it would be like a champions league which the region should have. 4 years ago Optus used to sponsor the World series which had 4 teams which the Socceroos were involved. However the series fell apart after 4 seasons due to the club problem.

There should be a club comp
There should be a combined nations comp
The WC path is now fine. :)

I mean Fiji and co now have a better chance than ever before.
