..... Gensler is and always has been the architect. CAA Icon has worked alongside Gensler, as the project lead, to secure the professionals needed to complete the project in a swift manner, there is a list of approved GC's in the stadium lease agreement, and could be any one of them. They will likely make a bid on the project. Im not saying they are gonna start next week. Im saying that they've been working, since city councils approval on august 15th (per the CAA Icon webpage) to keep the project moving forward.
Yes, Gensler is the firm. Who there is the actual architect? Seems like they should have hired a GC by now if things are as far along as you say. They should be getting bids for the steel beams frex, since it takes a while to actually fabricate them.
Its easier to say Gensler, because there are hundreds of architects who work for gensler,and on a large project like this one there could be a whole team of architects and engineers working on the programming.
