Fans are getting in cars and buses to travel over to Austin this weekend, back the players and the shirt. I trust our players know this and go all out. Get stuck in. C'MON BOYS! DALE DYNAMO!!!
I have a new theory on how the Dynamo can finish P4 or better. Win all of their three road games and draw the two remaining home games. That would be 11 points from 15 and put them on 56 points which is the exact pace P4 is going at presently. We will need for COR to not be at 56 or only win one more game... Realistically -- I think the Dynamo will likely need four wins out of final five -- including winning @seattle. Sebas Druissi is retweeting calls for Josh Wolf's firing and trading of himself. Interesting to see if he is in the team tonight. And interesting speculation I heard was that it is really just Druissi expressing something that he has previously said: There is not enough pressure in MLS, that he misses fans being pissed when you don't win and letting the team know.
Great road win!!! Got the job done and a clean sheet! VAMOS HOUSTON! ETERNO BI-CAMPEON!!! Austin and their fans can eat it!
I’ll tell you one thing, this team is not for the faint of heart! Great win tonight. Just get results by hook or by crook!
Stolen points are great points. That is the best I’ve seen an opponent defend the Dynamo in a long time. Dynamo struggled against the press triggered out of the high block. We rarely had dangerous possession. Dynamo were very very fortunate not to concede on several occasions. Ponce up lame with hamstring problems. Is that stuff contagious? Dang. That will not help his shooting issues or holdup play issues. Winds up great night for the Dynamo. Three points on the road while LAFC loses again (rested stars prepping for Wednesday night). RSL dropped points at home. VCW lost at LAFC. Hope is alive!!!!
Bet. As a lifer Houstonian, all our teams demand their fans to be void of faint at heart+ What makes soccer the dominant sport that it has always been, specifically for the trait of winning late on when you know your shouldn't be taking points, but your squad finds a way. Solo futbol!
It was great to get the monkey off our back and finally win at Texalifornia. They are a poor club so the win should have been easier than it was, but rivalry games etc etc. Set the club record for road wins. Imagine if we had just won 20% more of our home games how much better we'd be in the standings. Coco has been a different player since sliding over to HHs position. His performance from one part of the field to the next is so wide, one wonders how much longer we can ask him to play out of his favored position giving the fact that he can't (or won't) play up to the high level that he plays when in his comfort zone. Blasting a ball into the stands from a great pass to the middle of the box is not a great look from Mr. $. The amount of money we have tied up in him and Sebas is just astounding given what they have given back. Clean sheets are the best. Well done by the D doing what was expected against that team. PS It's gonna be an insanely close points fight the next month. Hope we can hang on.
