on 05 AM/W Maza of 2BL Hertha........yeah the pool of promising AM/W is pretty HUGE in younger age groups more than entire 90s age groups. Will be interesting to see their progress.

    Youngest goalscorer in 2 leagues
Hertha jewel Maza (18) makes history
Playmaker Ibrahim Maza can do anything on the ball and has signed with Hertha long-term

February 24, 2024 is a special day for Ibrahim Maza (18) in his young professional career.
Hertha's greatest playmaking talent is writing football history!

After his wildcard goal in the 1-1 draw in Braunschweig, Maza is the youngest player to score in both the Bundesliga and the 2nd division.

Hertha coach Pal Dardai (47) is full of praise: “He deserves it. The boy can simply play football, almost always decides everything intuitively and has a really good degree.”

True! After a catastrophic first half with not a single shot on goal, substitute Maza (46th) turned the game around. After a pass from Fabian Reese (26), the right-footer skillfully circled the ball into the far corner (52').

This made it a very special day for Maza!
Hertha coach Dardai has known Maza since the U16s
On May 27, 2023, the last matchday of the Bundesliga, Maza scored his first professional goal in a 2-1 win in Wolfsburg. He was 17 years and 157 days young at the time.

Now he made his first second division appearance at the age of 18 years and 92 days. No other player of this age has scored two goals in both professional leagues before him.

Dardai: “Ibo was already my player at the U16 level. He does incredible things with the ball, is carefree and cheeky. That’s how he scored his first two goals with the professionals.”

That's why he's getting more playing time now. The place in the starting eleven is getting closer for Maza.

Great to see Beier make double figures. Maybe not the highest potential CF but he'll be ready sooner and could be useful to have in SNT pool.

its always good to see youth players hit double figures in 1BL level. Hopefully Knauff is next.

as for Beier yeah he might not be highest potential CF but still good potential and increases our options for SNT.

Aleksandar Pavlović is currently not a topic for Julian Nagelsmann. Although the midfielder is showing a good Bundesliga level with the ball, he still has room for improvement in his game off the ball, which is crucial at European top level. The DFB's plan for Pavlović is first to gain experience with the U21s and establish himself there. That's why coach Antonio Di Salvo is expected to call him up for the U21 Euro qualifiers against Kosovo and Israel next month

-05 RB Baum continues to get game time at 1BL Frankfurt, 2 caps this month and 1 off his 5th 1BL cap. How long until he gets his 1st 1BL XI (2nd XI of season)???

-speaking of RBs, looks like we have a new RB to have emerged pro footy as 04 RB Sticker recently played 2 back to back XIs for VK.

    3rd Liga RBs
    02-ter Horst=16 XIs,
    03-Halangk=8 XIs
    03-Fahrner=21 XIs
03-Semic=7 back to back XIs, recent breakthrough although at LB
    04-Sticker=2 XIs, also recent
04-Eitschberger=21 XIs, on loan and confirmed to go back to 2BL in Summer
04-Schadlich=1 XI aka THIS weekend, his 1st ever
    04-Ortel=6 XIs

between Semic, Sticker, Schadlich that's 3 more recent additions too.
ter Horst, Fahrner, Semic, Eitschberger (already confirmed for him) are the 4 who could go upwards in Summer too.

What's dumb as frick is Dortmund II....so Dortmund gives Semic pro contract like ages ago, then recent reports about how they had 0 trust in him......circumstances aka others flopping/injured propeled him away from bench and into XI......now they are shocked at how he's dev and is seen as BIG winner of 2024 (likely along with 02 M Roggow who also made jump this year) and looks like they want to extend......he's an idiot if he does, needs to bail. Sadly most German clubs are TRASH as ******** when it comes to their own players and don't deserve any loyalty. Can't even integrate players and then proceed to write them off and then surprised when they perform when given chance......DUMB. Here's hoping with 2024 contract that Semic bails in Summer.

-06 CB Jeltsch getting a lot of praise and 2BL FCN fans think he'll become their most expensive transfer OUT for a defensive player in club history.

Yeah I don't see rushing players into the SNT as a positive. U21 call up for sure, if you include him alongside Rohl, Reitz, Martel, Breithaupt, Wagner etc the midfield pool looks pretty strong.

rushing for SNT, would basically be for sake of getting in way of Serbia but reality if Pavlovic really wants to play for Germany he would go U21 1st and work his way. Its too early to jump to SNT when March is last call up until tourney. I don't like the whole duals going with whoever offers best offer.....

-for RBs in 3rd Liga, LOL forgot about 02-Allgeier, has 25 XIs, another one who could end up upwards in Summer. Will hopefully as many as possible go up and increase the RB pool for U21.

-1BL Kicker XI=02 CF Beier (also Man of the Matchday)
-2BL Kicker XI=03 AM/W Sieb (also Man of the Matchday)
-3rd Liga Kicker XI=04 AM/W de Meester (played his 1st ever XI and had a goal and assist in 2-1 W, also scored midweek. Looking like a recent breakthrough)

-04 AM/W Diehl who played his 1st ever 1BL XI for Koln got praise by Stuttgart brass.
    https://www.kicker.de/trotz-jubilaeum-keine-feierlaune-bei-jeong-998667/artikel#twfeed

-02 GK Atubolu gets praise for tired 1BL Freiburg. Whoscored also had him in best XI for matchday too.
    https://www.kicker.de/atubolu-mit-d...rg-muss-leeren-tank-auffuellen-998703/artikel

-04 CF/W J.Winter who scored 10 goals in RL is moving to H96, supposed to start in II/RL but seen with 1st team prospect for the 2BL club.

Probably for the best, Dortmund integration is virtually non existent, not helped by II barely using youth until forced.

Dortmund can't even fully integrate Moukoko, Gittens, Duranville......don't think shoving Bamba will happen. As of now Bamba only makes squads when others are out.

previous reports stated that other 1BL clubs are interested in Bamba. He should bail to club with real prospects.

I think Bamba is seen as someone who can emulate 02 W Knauff. LOL, how Knauff was deemed by some as not good enough for Dortmund when he's outperformed tons of Dortmund AM/W players and even that USA flop Reyna too.

its same with Stuttgart and 04 AM/W Paula they have 0 plans for integration (same can be said for ALL Stuttgart youth) and top clubs and 1BL-1st Abroad-2BL all interested in him.

German footy is a full of top talents-good talents but like 0 integration planning and then those same clubs cry about how shit the German talents are. Even when they have talents they do nothing.

back to Dortmund, they seem to be in trouble because players like 06 M Watjen+06 CF Brunner have doubts about integration at club and considering bailing......

Dortmund II's logic for youth is basicall ******** the youth for 1st half of season then when safe from relegation aka 2nd of season that is when they start using youth more. That's very stupid to give youth like dozen of matches and that's it.

reports also say that Dutch Aning is bailing from club too. Imagine, 3/3 Dutch youth all bailing from Rijkhoff, Braaf and now Aning could be next. The French Coulibaly and Kamara also seem to have failed in breakingthrough. The American Reyna, the Spaniard Bueno, the Swiss Fink etc. Feels like almost no youth players are even breakingthrough the club anymore, LOL.

looks like our 2nd 2006 U17 World Cup Champ is gonna go full XI pro breakthrough after 06 M Ouedraogo. Curious to see who will be the 3rd to do so. For Jeltsch a 17 y/o CB breakingthrough always nice to see.

    Despite the derby defeat
    Jeltsch gives Nuremberg courage!
Made a good second division debut against Fürth at the age of 17

No question: Greuther Fürth deservedly won the 272nd Frankenderby after FCN midfielder Jens Castrop (20) was sent off early. Nevertheless, there was reason for hope for 1. FC Nürnberg after the game. U17 world champion Finn Jeltsch (17), the next super talent, celebrated his second division premiere.

And with impressive coolness! The man next to him who was twice his age and club captain Enrico Valentini (35) also thought: “That was a top performance from Finn. If he communicates more now, everything will be ok. But he's only 17. Because it was his first game, especially in the derby, I take my hat off to him. He did really well.”

But even such special praise could not console Jeltsch after the painful derby defeat. After all, the native of Middle Franconia said he “only lost maybe three or four of 30 derbies” as a youth. I was almost always the winner!”

Nevertheless, this one second division game was enough for him to fight for a regular place from now on. Jeltsch courageously: “I will continue to do my best and then the decision will be up to the coach.”

And why should FCN coach Cristian Fiél (43) take his youngster out again after this debut? After all, he surprisingly decided AGAINST his former defense chief Ivan Marquez (29) before the Frankenderby. The Spaniard had perhaps shown his best club game against Wehen Wiesbaden (1-1) (including his first second division goal) and was then only missing due to a yellow card suspension.

Fiél becomes a possible regular place for Jeltsch. “A lot can happen during the week, but I think Finn did it well. My feeling was that I just needed his quality. That’s why I chose him.” And it is exactly this feeling that could tip the scales for Jeltsch again on Saturday (1 p.m.) against Eintracht Braunschweig.

LMAO, Mainz U19 eliminated Barcelona U19 and today eliminated Manchester City U19 after 2-1 W.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

goal for 1-0 by 04 LB T.Muller who made his 1BL/pro bench debut over weekend. 04 is packed of LB for an age group.
    https://streamin.me/v/bda4bb5c

goal for 2-1 by 05 DM/CB Schulz who has pro contract and expected to breakthrough 1st team
    https://streamin.me/v/5b4c421e

fun fact Mainz U19 is without
    -04 W Gruda+05 CF Weiper (injured)=both with 1st team
    -04 AM/W Kaygin=transfered to Austrian 1st
-05 W Bierschenk=recently back from long term injury but might have injury issues again
-05 M Gleiber=THE Hero vs Barcelona who is out with fitness/injury issue

I watched the match, Mainz showed fantastic fighting spirit and both goals were very well taken. I like Muller good tackler + speed and finished his goal very well, great hit. Schulz had a very strong game too, dominates physically in midfield and great penalty. I liked Gotze & Dal too, up against tricky dribblers they defended with a lot of composure.

Imagine if Mainz were full strength lol.

Gotze played major role in Mainz U19 winning last season too bad that due to 03 RB Kraft he's a bench RB in II/RL. Once Kraft bails in Summer, he'll hopefully be II XI RB next season.

its always good to see Defensive players do well vs dribblers. One issue with 1BL is that good chunk of defenders are poor in defending such things. Too much focus on height/physicality/speed or being good with ball over actual defensive skillset.

Dal and Odogu are looking like CBs who could emerge in pro footy soon enough and join Jeltsch in doing so.

Schulz (+Gleiber) are more indication at how many promising to very promising Ms we have from 04-onwards. Like looking packed.

T.Muller and that super packed LB pool from 03-onwards. I'm curious to see who will become future main SNT options. We currently have 2 1BL LB XIs, with way things going that # will only increase in future.

    full strenght Mainz Attack of
    Bierschenk--------------Weiper----------------Gruda
    ---------------------------Kaygin------------------------

destroyed every team in Germany and THAT is the attack that got Mainz U19 champions of Germany and who qualified them for UEFA Youth League to begin with but funny enough NONE of them even played Youth League and Mainz WITHOUT them made QF, LULZ.

a pretty reliable poster on TM forums
    -on 05 AM/W Ibrahimovic
According to my information, Arijon Ibrahimovic was invited to the U21 team at the last course, but unfortunately had to decline. Since he is currently unable to play in the autumn/winter following illness and a minor injury, I see him back in the U19s for the time being.

    -on 05 AM/CF Uzun
And then there's Can Uzun, who will hopefully be there. From what I've heard, he basically wants to play for Germany and has also informed the DFB of this. Let's see whether he turns down all nominations again this international break or makes a decision already. Turkey will entice him with a nomination for the senior national team, let's see if they can change his mind again.

have to say the U21 has TONS of potential, new additions from Winter-onwards
    -GK=P.Schulze (3rd Liga #1, on loan)
    -LB=Kratzig (Austrian 1st loan), Finkgrafe (1BL, 04), Zehnter (2BL, 04)
-CB=Quarshie (2BL loan, 04), Jeltsch (2BL, 06, of course too early for call up, LOL), Oermann (1BL, not new name to U21 pool but brokethrough fixed XI in 2024)
    -RB=Hofmann (2BL, injured???),
-M=Pavlovic (1BL, 04, Germany??? Reports say getting U21 call up but its up to him to decide if he goes Germany or Serbia), Kemlein (2BL loan, 04), Tohumcu (1BL, 04)
-AM/W=Sieb (2BL, not new name for U21 pool but exploded in form in 2024), Uzun (2BL, 05, Germany???), Diehl (1BL, 04), Maza (2BL, 05, back from injury), Niehoff (2BL, 04), Conte (1BL, back from injury)

although X number of 04-05s likely to end up in U19-U20.

thing about Uzun was its been said has wanted Germany for YEARS aka from day 1 but DFB ignored him forever. Even reports last season were like his agent was begging for Germany call up and DFB was like "NOPE NOT INTERESTED"........no idea why.

then when he exploded in form in 2BL this season and every top club in Europe wants him suddenly Germany is interested in him.........

I'm confused to why he was always rejected/ignored when he was always seen as top talent....we've lost quite some talent from 05s like Chiarodia, Simic, Yildiz, Uzun etc. If DFB did better job none of that would have happened.

well we always had massive doubt here that he would choose us tbh.

    for one
-got rejected for YEARS by dumbass DFB
-every dual is opportunist none want to work way into SNT. Can't expect a 2BL player to get Germany SNT call up but every other pathetic poaching country would call such players to SNT
-if he switches to Germany its perm switch too and 0 guarantee he makes SNT as he would play for U21 1st
-less we forget if he choose Germany, would be called traitor and slurs by Turks too

sucks to see players like Samardzic, Yildiz, Uzun all gonna play for foreign SNTs in a Germany hosting tourney.

lets hope that we call up Wanner, Diehl, Ibrahimovic types for U21, unlikely all 3 but could be chance for them. Thing about youth players if one decides against us its a chance for someone else. And Uzun has NEVER ever been part of DFB too.

    still no decision???

Decision for Turkey? FCN talent Uzun denies basket for the DFB
Can Uzun, just 18 years old, is in the fast lane at 1. FC Nürnberg. A decision as to which national team he wants to play for in the future will be made shortly. The top talent denied media reports from Turkey on Wednesday.

The future of Can Uzun is being hotly debated these days around the Valznerweiher. However, not only at club level - the coveted offensive player of 1. FC Nürnberg also has an important decision to make when it comes to the national team. Will he play for the German or Turkish national team in the future? This question needs to be clarified.

The Istanbul daily Habertürk wants to know about Uzun's commitment to the Turkish national team. According to the report, Turkish national coach Vincenzo Montella is already planning for the two international test matches on March 22nd in Hungary and four days later in Austria with the exceptional talent. The Turkish news portal NTV also reports on this plan. Even if he were to play both international matches for Turkey, the Nuremberg player could theoretically still decide to play for the DFB.

Montella is said to have already contacted Uzun. But in addition to the Turkish association, the German association is also trying to recruit the fine technician. Uzun recently emphasized in an interview with the Mittelbayerische Zeitung that he had not yet made a decision about his future. He emphasized: "Ultimately I will not decide against, but for a national team and go there that my heart and my gut say is right."

And despite Wednesday's reports, nothing appears to have changed. There is currently no basket for the DFB. Uzun let the sports information service know through his management that he would only make the decision about his future at national team level after final discussions with his family at the weekend. He wants to publicly announce where he sees his future at the beginning of next week.

"The next one should be Uzun, he knows that too"
The perspective - and friendship - might speak in favor of Turkey. Kenan Yildiz (Juventus Turin), who scored for the DFB team in a 3-2 win in Berlin last November, was, like Uzun, born in Regensburg and is a good friend of the FCN professional. Turkey wants to build a team for the future around the duo and Real talent Arda Güler. Uzun played for the Turkish U17 and U18 and was also nominated for the U21 team.

Hamit Altintop, chairman of the Turkish Football Association, made no secret of his own plans in an interview with Sky: "Uzun played for our U17s and he is our player. He was born in 2005 and we already have two players with us the A team with Arda Güler and Kenan Yildiz. The next one should be Can Uzun, he knows that too."

Uzun's star in Nuremberg, where he has played since he was 13, really rose this season. In the 2023/24 season, the attacker made 23 second division appearances, in which he scored eleven goals and one assist (kicker grade average 3.0). There are also two appearances in the DFB Cup (three goals, two assists).

    Association puts pressure
Turkey fuss over club jewel Uzun

Now Turkey is also getting serious about Club-Juwel Can Uzun (18)!
As the Turkish news portal NTV reports, the Turkish Football Association is planning to invite Nuremberg's exceptional talent for the next two friendly games against Hungary (March 22) and Austria (March 26) in March. National coach Vincenzo Montella (49) is said to already be in contact with Uzun in this regard.

Just over two weeks ago, Hamit Altintop (41), chairman of the Turkish Football Association, told Sky: “Uzun played for our U17 and he is our player. He was born in 2005 and we already have two players in the senior team with Arda Güler and Kenan Yildiz. The next one should be Can Uzun, he knows that too.”

The news portal also reports that Uzun has already decided on Turkey. According to BILD information, there is nothing to it. Even if he actually played for Turkey in both games in March, he would not be committed to Turkey.

Reason: Since Uzun played for Turkey in his youth, he would not change the association. A change of association is possible up to the age of 21, provided the player has not played more than three competitive or test games. Exception: The player takes part in a World Cup or European Championship. That means: A move to the DFB would still be possible if he now plays test matches for Turkey. It would be different if you were to play at the European Championships taking place in the summer.

Rudi Völler and Andreas Rettig made a surprise visit to 1. FC Nürnberg on Thursday. BILD knows why the secret summit took place.

Spicy: On the same days as Turkey in March, the German U21 will also play two European Championship qualifying games against Kosovo (March 22) and Israel (March 26). If Uzun only played in one of the two games for the DFB, the door would be closed for Turkey. FIFA rules state that you cannot change associations twice. Uzun has already played for Turkey for U17 and U18.

That's why the director of the national team Rudi Völler (63) and the managing director of sports Andreas Rettig (60) were personally in Nuremberg two weeks ago to convince the offensive man to join the DFB (BILD reported exclusively).

According to BILD information, Uzun will soon be making his own statement about what will happen next for him in terms of his international career.
