-04 AM/W Diehl who made 1BL/pro debut over weekend for Koln.....already has Dortmund, Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen, etc
    https://geissblog.koeln/2023/01/fc-...lle-die-berater-wirtz-und-leverkusen-spielen/

-Hoffenheim coach praises 05 M Bischof on his 1BL XI debut
“Tom was very convincing in the preparation. In the [test] matches he was always one of the best. He's only just turned 17, but he's a huge talent coming of age. The way in Hoffenheim is to give the young players playing time again and again. That will happen under my leadership, even if there are setbacks. Bishof more than deserves it. And he did it well, too,” explained the trainer.

-joke, Gladbach sporting director Virkus said that they considered 01 GK Olschowsky to become #1 but since they didn't want to put pressure on him they bought a GK and that they still see him as future #1. What a load of nonesense and this is why no GK is breakingthrough 1BL, LMAO. These clubs DON'T want to integrate. LOL, future #1.....you didn't bring Omlin on loan but long term contract, should he become #1 when he's mid-20s???

legit same excuse that Augsburg have said about 04 LB Zehnter. Got praise by coach but then he said he wants him to dev in peace, blablablabla, is that why you went from 2 LBs to a 3rd in Winter transfer market. When and where is he supposed to breakthrough when your just pilling up players in front of him??????

1BL is just a parody league with almost every club avoiding any integration.

called it that Simon Rolfes is a liar and full of shit, LMAO
Two forces obviously play a decisive role: On the one hand there is Bayer Leverkusen, which, as is well known, has not produced any talents of its own in the youth work for many years. In the last ten years, only Kai Havertz and Benjamin Henrichs have managed to make the leap from the NLZ to the professionals - despite the financially superior opportunities in the Rhineland. Instead of promoting their own talents, Bayer has to poach 16- or 17-year-olds at home and abroad for a lot of money. Because Leverkusen know that much better youth work is done in Cologne, the Rhenish rivals focus the few kilometers on Geißbockheim - and thus also on Diehl.

this guy instead of admitting that youth work of Bayer is shit he shits on German youth instead. Less we forget they have no II so post U19 all get dumped. And Bayer is 100% a club into whole dev/sell model too.

this club is shit they still have yet to do anything with 01 M Azhil and 03 M Ezeh......

PS funny part a lot of their foreign youth in U17-U19=bombing too

Don’t Leverkusen have some very promising 07’s? Good luck to them ever breaking through with this attitude in the club hierarchy.

Bayer have numerous promising 07s but yeah likely to just screw them over, lol.

German clubs tend to be disingenuous. oh we don't have many talents at our club=German youth are shit.

but that's not how it works, some clubs for some age group won't have anything and clubs like Bayer less and less even bother going there. So if no top talents wants to go to Bayer what does that have to do with German talents??? And its fact that Bayer is a club that's confirmed that ONLY Germans they care about is top talents/Elite, they don't give a shit about the good potential.

a club like Stuttgart was bitching for years about Germany youth and now they are all happy because of their 05s, LOL. Nevermind that they do have promising/interesting from 02-04 too.

and list can go on and on.

-02 W Thielmann (back from injury) and 04 CB Bakatukanda (1st time) travelled to Koln squad for midweek match. Koln took 21 for 20 man squad so someone gonna get drop

    -update on 05 M Ulrich
"He is now in running training and took part in parts of the player replacement training yesterday," said Labbadia at the press conference on Monday. But the trainer doesn't want to rush anything: "We just have to be very careful with it."

-on 02 CF Scherhant after 1BL XI debut
Starting eleven debutant at the Klatsche in Bochum the best
    :
Hertha's shooting star Derry Scherhant (20) was still playing U17 four years ago, his youth coach cheers: "Derry, you're awesome!"

Striker Derry Scherhant (20) made his debut in the 3-1 draw in Bochum. He was the bright spot in the blue and white swatter. Yes, it is also possible without a performance center, but with a lot of will and playfulness. The KURIER went in search of clues and spoke to Scherhant's youth coach from FC Viktoria 1899 in Lichterfelde.

Arthur Jujkol (35) was sitting at his desk on Saturday afternoon when Scherhant appeared in Bochum in a Hertha dress. He is currently studying football theory for the coaching license as an elite youth coach at Uefa. The course has only been available at the DFB for a year. He proudly says: "I'm the first youth coach in Berlin to get this license." A year ago he decided to give up his normal job as an office clerk in a painting company. “Now I want to turn my passion into my job,” says the Polish native.

Since 2017, as youth coach of regional league FC Viktoria 1899, Jujkol has proven that Jujkol has the ability to deal with young players and to leave space on the pitch. And then he met little Derry in his team at the age of 14. “During the first season, Derry belonged to the younger generation, but always played with the older generation. A season later he was a regular with us because he was simply good,” remembers Scherhant's youth coach.

Then Jujkol gets enthusiastic: "Derry scored a lot of important goals for us, you could see that he was going to be a brilliant footballer, he had these special moments in the game. What absolutely distinguished him was his carefree nature on the pitch.” Yes, just play according to instinct and don't think about tactics.

“Derry always knew he was good, better than some. That's why he always performed with a healthy self-confidence. He's a super guy. But we couldn't offer him what he wanted," says his sponsor from Viktoria. Yes, Scherhant single-mindedly pursued his dream of becoming a Bundesliga professional. In 2019 he moved to TeBe, a year later he played for Berliner SC, but only for three months. Hertha BSC knocked. While other youth suffered from the 2020-2022 pandemic measures, Scherhant continued to build his fledgling career. Full concentration, first in the U19s, then U23s and since this season with the blue and white pros.

Hertha's coach Sandro Schwarz is convinced of his striker, who can play in the center but also on the left wing like he is now in Bochum: "Derry has taken an unusual path in his career, not the classic path in the NLZ (youth performance center, note. ed.). He came to our academy and got in straight away. He's busy. In terms of content, it is great, at a very good level.”

So much praise from a Bundesliga coach. Jujkol is also happy about that: “Derry always wanted to play in the Bundesliga. Now he's done it. But it really surprised me that it happened so quickly.” Yes, Derry not only surprises the opponents with his tricks, but also his youth coach...

this is reality about 1BL and youth GKs, none give a shit about them or their dev. They never see them as real #1 options.

Bayern is a club with a lot of GKs but its clear they don't care at all.

-on 04 CB Janitzek and 04 W/CF Kabadayi linked with Serie A transfers to Lecce. Janitzek sounds like a done deal. I know Serie A always interested in German youth, I just hope this doesn't turn disastrous. But this likely will put Janitzek as option for 02-03 U21 cycle.

-RB Leipzig doing a 180 and now considering having 01 M Krauss return in future, lol
Will Leipzig's homegrown Tom Krauss return to the reigning cup winner? That depends on the end of the season at FC Schalke 04.

At RB Leipzig, the transfer summer of 2022 was also about finding buyers for the numerous homegrown players who are not believed to be capable of making a breakthrough in their own professional team. Twelve young professionals trained in the company's own academy were sold or loaned out, including Tom Krauss (21). The midfielder moved to FC Schalke 04 on loan after two years on loan at 1. FC Nürnberg and meets his former club for the first time this Tuesday. Even then there were internal voices that advocated at least giving Krauss a chance in his own squad.

Coach Marco Rose and sports director Max Eberl, today's Leipzig decision-makers, were not yet in office in the summer and were therefore not involved in the transfer. On the other hand, both made it clear recently that they could well imagine Krauss, who gained a foothold at Schalke right away, in their own ranks. "When we talk about a boy from Leipzig, it's our duty to see how he develops," said Rose, who played with Krauss' father Holger in the youth team at VfB Leipzig, ahead of the guest appearance at Schalke: "He's immediately became a constant at Schalke under difficult conditions in the relegation battle and does it very well."

Eberl had previously formulated the goal of "leading boys who grew up in our academy to the first team", explicitly naming Krauss: "Maybe he'll come back if there's a certain failure at Schalke 04."
What Eberl means by that: If Schalke manage to stay up in the league, a purchase obligation takes effect at the end of the season. The agreed sum of three million euros would be comparatively cheap in view of the development and prospects of the U-21 player who is a strong runner and tackles well. In the event of relegation, however, Krauss will return to Leipzig, at least for the time being, where his contract will run until 2025.

-some at Gladbach not happy 01 GK Olschowsky not made into #1
But there were also voices around the club who would have hoped that Gladbach would rely on homegrown Jan Olschowsky (21) after the summer departure!

Like Gladbach icon Wolfgang Kleff (76) in his BILD column: “I would have preferred to rely on my own people and trust them. Olschowsky proved what he can do, especially against Dortmund. I also played my first Bundesliga game at the age of 21, Marc-André ter Stegen even at the age of 18 - you didn't know for sure where the path would lead. Age shouldn't matter. Just whether you're good or bad. If I, as a young player, have to sit on the bench behind Omlin for a few more years, morale and self-confidence will go away."
    https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...-ist-die-zukunfts-hoffnung-82657258.bild.html

-03 CB Oermann goes to Austrian 1st on loan

“We are convinced that this step is exactly the right one for Tim's sporting and personal development. We expect as much playing time as possible from the loan in the highest Austrian league, which we are currently unable to give him due to the increased competition," says Patrick Fabian, Managing Director Sport at VfL Bochum 1848.

according to reports 02 GK Gorka of 2BL FD is now bench GK
According to the impressions from the preparation, the goalkeeper hierarchy has changed at Fortuna Düsseldorf. Florian Kastenmeier is still number one, but behind him 20-year-old Dennis Gorka has overtaken Raphael Wolf, who is 14 years his senior, and would probably be the first to move up should Kastenmeier not be ready for action.

Gorka, who still has a contract until 2024, is held in high esteem by those responsible for Fortuna. Whether coach Daniel Thioune, sports director Klaus Allofs and sports director Christian Weber trust the native of Cologne to be the regular keeper for the new season is still open. This is exactly the question that the sporting management could ask itself in the summer, because Kastenmeier, who is also tied until 2024, would then bring a fee for the last time as things stand – and is said to have aroused interest in the Bundesliga.

I brought up Krauss maybe getting a chance at Leipzig (post all the winter training camp talk of them maybe actually not ignoring their own youth in the future), so I really hope that this isn’t more bs as I rate him pretty highly and it would be good to see him playing in a CL team.

I quite like Janitzek & Kabadayi to Lecce, club looks pretty comfortable in terms of avoiding relegation and as we’ve seen with Samardzic and Chabot playing in Serie A can be beneficial.

this just confirms the problem of German youth is that one sporting director+coach=screw the German youth and then others=open to them. Its all over the place. But always found it iffy at how Krosche at Leipzig did 0 for Germans but Krosche at Frankfurt did a LOT more then previous Frankfurt bosses. Shows that Leipzig for longest time had 0 interest in Germans and Frankfurt had 0 interest in Germans. Also shows that Krosche at Leipzig likely DID want to go German but club didn't.

Interesting part about article from kicker about what happened in Summer
"Even then there were internal voices that advocated at least giving Krauss a chance in his own squad."

    as for Janitzek
LOL that 1BL is so obssesed with Frenchie CBs that Germans have to go to other top 4 leagues
    -EPL=Bella-Kotchap, Beyer (next season)
    -Serie A=Thiaw, Janitzek

I think its a good thing as they will enhance their defensive game in ways they wouldn't playing in 1BL which is mostly just about speed and physicality.

as for Kabadayi I just hope a transfer there doesn't land him in Lecce U19 or whatever. Both need to be in 1st team.

this also reiterates the Bayern issues, clubs from 1BL-Serie A want Bayern youth on perm or loan with buying option but Bayern has refused for ages to do this and this is why you see 2BL-1st Abroad loans but Bayern will never care about that. A CB that stays in Germany will rarely find a 1BL loan potential in terms of playing which is why you see Mbi in 2BL loan. But then issue is why allow H96 such a cheap ass loan. Like what is Mbi plan anyways, Brazzo always talks as if he'll come back and H96 always talk about buying him, LOL.

next up from Bayern, really needs to be Schenk, Bruckner, Herold, Aydin, Copado.

also LMAO few days ago, reports about how Nagelsmann internally is high on Kabadayi few days later he's headed out.

Nagelsmann just isn't an integration coach which is why Bayern is a WASTE OF TIME.

how long until Wanner, Ibrahimovic and Buchmann also get loan dumping? Summer 2023-Summer 2024 seems likely, LOL.

Dortmund seem to be in a transfer battle with Arsenal for ’04 Spanish right-back Ivan Fresneda. They are willing to pay 13M for him. It looks like they don’t rate ’03 Semic. He can’t defend unfortunately while Fresneda looks like a more defensive-minded full-back. Dortmund is a waste of time for Semic. He needs to find a new club.

sad part for Semic is that 2BL HSV really wanted him but then Dortmund convinced him to sign pro contract just for him to never play not even in II. So what was point of extending his expiring his contract???

These clubs constantly do this extend with X or Y just to not lose them but then there is 0 plan for them.

its petty thing and not really what's best for player.

-00 CB Bisseck is all but likely gonna transfer in Summer

-01 RB Asta of 2BL Furth looks to have edge to continue as 1st choice RB
    https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...fer-zornigers-abwehr-luxus-82667450.bild.html

-update on 00 M Mbom who is back from long term injury just recently
At least in principle, Mbom is an option: "He feels safe and makes a good impression in training. He did well in the friendlies, even if they were short missions. In this respect, he is available again for everything," said the trainer in the preliminary talk of the home game against Union Berlin

-02 CB Irorere on trial at 3rd Liga Freiburg II.

-Austria Lustenau's 1st team coach talks about 03 M Rhein (on loan). Rhein already brokethrough the XI of the club in last 6 matches pre-WC break. This just cements that he'll continue in XI. I'm curious to where he ends up in Summer

Could Bayern loanee Torben Rhein be one of the beneficiaries of Teixeira's exit?
Torben showed once in the autumn what we already knew anyway - that he is a very strong footballer and that it was not for nothing that he was the captain of all junior national teams in Germany. He has developed well, has grown from a youth player to an adult footballer and his path is far from over. We're proud that he's making his way to a top club via Austria Lustenau and I'm looking forward to seeing him in the second half of the season because he really puts his foot down.

Yep, Dortmund just keep buying foreign youngsters that block their own youth who view the club as stepping stones and in 2 or 3 years time they will be pushing for a move.

Seems they are also signing 16 y/o Belgian W Julien Duranville, who will no doubt jump straight ahead of players like Bamba or Konig.

Dortmund will NEVER get away from the whole dev/sell concept which is never about Germans. So yeah they will always block their players even if a lot at Dortmund (not talking about fans) have confessed to their being tons of talents at club.

-03 CB Gluck (has been in Germany since 2011) has signed pro contract at 3rd Liga 1860

-04 AM Aourir signs pro contract with 1BL Bayer. Predictable he was always the only outfield player that was close to the 1st team. But issue no II, no integration, still waiting on this club to do something with limbo players 01 M Azhil and 03 M Ezeh.

YOUNG MAN AYMAN AOURIR NOW WORKSELF PRO
Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed a license agreement with young player Ayman Aourir. The lively midfielder signed a contract that gives him the status of a Werkself pro. Attacking midfielder Aourir moved from Viktoria Köln to Bayer-Kreuz in 2018.

"Ayman is a talented and very important player for our U19s," says sporting director Simon Rolfes about the 18-year-old. "We believe he is capable of successful development in the licensing area, and we want to support him on this path in a targeted manner."

would gather that 01 M Krauss will not be there as he has relegation clause on his loan.

players like 02 LB Calhanoglu (when he returns from 2BL loan), 02 RB/M/W Aydin will likely play more.

will be curious to see if 00 M Flick (on 2BL loan) if he'll go back or attract interest elsewhere come Summer.

00 CB Matriciani I think will go down to 2BL with them. Would be surprising if he has any 1BL interest.

03 W Sane and 04 CF Topp are likely to breakthrough the squad.

relegation is best time for GK like 00 GK Heekeren or 05 GK Podlech to breakthrough. Although one can predict that since they would likely want to go back to 1BL they wouldn't trust young GK. But there could be more trust for bench GK or irrelevant matches at this level.

    then from U19-II
-II=00 LB J.Muller, 00 CB Schell, 03 CB Boboy, 01 AM Kyerewaa are closest to 1st
-U19=04 W Meisel, 04 CF Kojic, 04 M Hansen, 06 M Ouedraogo, 06 RB Bulut (U17 but already pro contract). Of course there are 05s too and more 06s but knowing this club they will likely make them play U19.

Gruda only played 6-7 minutes so it’s hard to judge how good he is but he showed good acceleration a couple of times. Anton Stach could have put him through on goal but unfortunately he ignored him. Anton also missed a big chance to score the winning goal. Barkok had a big second-half performance. Maybe he’s coming good at the age of 24.

I wonder where Bobzien was because he’s a year older than Gruda so why is he not getting playing time?

I haven’t watched Mainz in a long time so I was surprised to see 9 foreigners in the starting XI. I didn’t know the situation was that bad over there.
