    -03 CB Littig to Furth

-03 M Angleberger of 2BL Furth already being seen as winner in preseason.
In the most recent tests against Razgrad (1: 1) and Basel (2: 3), the home-grown player (came to the Kleeblatt in the B-Jugend from Würzburg) was one of the best players in Fürth. Angleberger presented himself in central midfield as a strong tackler, ball-safe and with a good eye. In addition, the right foot is surprisingly clever.

He forced his interim equalizing goal to make it 1-1 against Basel with a skilful attack from the goalkeeper, only to use the ball win himself ice-coldly. Coach Marc Schneider (41) is also impressed by the talent: "He's definitely doing self-promotion. He also rewarded himself with the goal. But that's not the only reason I liked him. He conquered the ball well, played clean and easy balls."

Is Angleberger now fishing for a regular place?
Schneider: "Of course he still plays carefree with his youth. It may be that when he knows he has to perform because it's about something that's also going to be more difficult. You don't know that."

In this form, the youngster is definitely a serious starting eleven option for the Bundesliga relegated team.

When people declare X or Y for being flops for being in 2BL-1st Abroad......ya'll don't know def of flop/failure.

flopping will NEVER be 1 level below top flight. You can say disappointment sure but not flop/failure.

Flopping is more along lines of Papela, Koudelka......Agha.

Agha can't even impress in RL. An ex YNT with 18 caps with Germany.

    -Tedesco on Raebiger
    * the sale of top talent Sidney Raebiger to Fürth: "It hurt a bit. Because I think he's capable of a good career, he has good abilities and good character. We tried to show him perspectives. But he also wanted to change, he definitely wanted to play.”

    -Dortmund 1st training,
01 GK Unbehaun, 03 M Gurpuz, 03 RB Semic, 04 CF Moukoko, 04 LB Rothe and 04 CB Collins

-Koln 1st training looks to include
    01 M Strauch, 01 M Huseinbasic, 02 DM/CB Martel, 02 M Schwirten, 02 W Thielmann, 02 attacker Lemperle, 03 GK Urbig, 03 CB Mbi, 03 CF Schmid, 03 W/fullback Suchanek, 04 CB Smajic

wonder if Diehl and Downs are added at some point or not???

-what's point, this club won't give a shit about 2BL anyways.

-01 CF/W Konigsdorffer to do medical at 2BL HSV.

    its until July 1st.
but his loan was a dumb one, Hallescher only wanted him for whole 4 U23 Germans in each matchday squad aspect.

When played did well and got praise. At this point, loan was just for him to get match practice as for like a full year nowhere to play as Plastic Youth, was basically in limbo at Plastic.

since won't make 1st anyways, him and always injured Hartmann likely 2BL-1st Abroad-3rd Liga next season.

    05s
    Might be missing some though

    U17 Euro Squad
    -Played=Raebiger, Bischof, Wanner
-1st Training=Schulz (new), Weiper (new), Walde (new), Ulrich (new), Ibrahimovic, Goller, Seimen, Krattenmacher, Pejcinovic
-1st prospects=Hoffmann, Azevedo, di Benedetto, Fritschi, Buchmann, Likaj
    -Nothing for now=Manuba, Lubach

Not in U17 Euro but trained/training with 1st
Atom, Kohler, Negele, Komur, Pesch (poached), Savic, Fernandes, Megeed, Schlicke, Amoako, Berkemer (had goal and assist on debut this weekend), Hermann, Mazzone, Fuchs, Chiarodia (poached), Koerdt, Tolba, Donges, Torsiello, Toch, Sihlaroglu (poached)

    That's 12/20 in U17 Euro Squad (60% of squad)+21 in left out=31 05s.
I think Stuttgart boys of Azevedo, Fritschi, di Benedetto will depend on U19 showings. Might train between during season to Summer 2023 preseason who knows.

most are U17 players last season with a bunch in U19 up an age group.

"By the way, who looked very fit, and that was probably different, was Li Egloff (whom Mislintat really often highlighted positively). Would be nice if he attacks this season."

not sure what Stuttgart's full training list is but looks for now like
    00 W Massimo, 00 AM Klimowicz, 01 GK Schock, 01 CB Aidonis, 02 AM Egloff, 03 CF Kastaranas, 05 M/W Ulrich, 05 GK Seimen

    I think Schock had covid.
would assume 00 CB Bazzoli also there

would guess if 02 M Meyer was fit.....no idea if he was that after 1 full season injured, needs to get back into it in Stuttgart II 1st.

Bayern youth have some of biggest market prices jumps from RL.
-Vidovic jumped by 1/3 to $3M
-Copado jumped by 50% to $1M
Alongside Vidovic, Lucas Copado is the big winner in the team. The 18-year-old attacker was already a regular player in the regional league when he was younger and scored nine goals and nine assists. As a result, the technically well-versed storm talent doubled his market value to one million euros.
-Central defender Jamie Lawrence, who will be loaned out to 1. FC Magdeburg in the next two seasons, increases his value by EUR 200,000 to EUR 1 million. In the second division he will meet his former teammate Armindo Sieb, who is drawn to SpVgg Greuther Fürth. Sieb confirms his €1.5 million. Christopher Scott (remains at 1.2 million euros) was also about to move to the 2nd Bundesliga, but now in all likelihood prefers a transfer to Royal Antwerp to a commitment to Fortuna Düsseldorf.
    - A transfer is also in the air at Rhein.

for me Plastic 03s most important are in no order as usual.
Klefisch, Kostka (went Polish 1st), Uhlmann (went 2BL H96), Lelle (went Schalke II), Ibrahimi

    update on 03 W Ibrahimi

Going on 1 season loan to 2BL EB.
Uh this means when he signed pro contract a year ago was until 2023 (if this was case then had to extend by 1 year or 2024. Here I was thinking his pro contract was 2022 one, that ends with U19. Has made Plastic bench couple of times this past season and has gotten praise by both Marsch and Tedesco.....but do wish it wasn't a loan.....

LOL that list of ex Koln youth is big

    Eintracht Braunschweig loan Mehmet Ibrahimi
Offensive player strengthens the lions for the new season
Eintracht Braunschweig has loaned out attacking winger Mehmet Ibrahimi from RB Leipzig for a year. The 19-year-old has signed a contract until June 30, 2023 and will wear the number 8 shirt.

Born in Troisdorf, he began his football training at SV Rot-Weiß Hütte before moving to 1. FC Köln in 2010. The attacker remained part of the Rhinelanders until 2017, which he then left for a move to NLZ from RB Leipzig. Last season, the left winger scored seven goals and three assists in the U19 Bundesliga North/Northeast. In the second half of the season, the offensive player regularly took part in the professional training sessions under the direction of coach Domenico Tedesco. In addition, Ibrahimi also donned the jersey of the German youth national team and played seven international matches in the U16, as well as two games each in the U17 and U19 national team of the DFB. Most recently, he was on the pitch for the U19s in a friendly against Denmark in May 2022.

"In Mehmet we have loaned a player who has the potential that we would like to see on the left attacking flank. Mehmet is very well trained in football and will ensure even more competition in the position, which has not yet been finalized," explains Peter Vollmann, Managing Director Sport.

Mehmet Ibrahimi added when signing the contract: "I'm really happy to be a lion next season and can't wait to play in front of the great fans on Hamburger Strasse. It's a good team and I want to do my part to help us achieve our goals as a team. I'm very happy that I can complete a large part of the training camp and get to know the guys there better."

Mehmet Ibrahimi will travel to the team at the training camp in Lautenbach this Monday.

    Always do 02 AM/W list

    03 AM/W looks like
-1BL=Musiala, Wirtz, separate these 2 from rest

Gunther, Sane (training), Conte (bench/regular in training), Suchanek (training, also fullback), Asllari (training), Bobzien (bench/regular training), Brandt (training, still not sure on position)
-2BL=Sesay, Ibrahimi (loan, bench/training with 1BL), Cherny (club now in 2BL), Baah (club now in Championship), Littbarski (new entry), Sieb (new entry), Martens, Blum (new entry but looks injured), Rossmann (has been MIA from training, either injured or loan candidate), Rexhepi (trainng)
    -1st Abroad=Motika (poached)
-3rd Liga=Amyn, Knappe (new entry), Zahmel (new entry), Knoferl, Cocic
    -RL=EVERYONE ELSE
I do think bunch here are interesting for sure but for now RL is 1st step
-Unknown=El-Zein (last in training with 2BL Sandhausen=shit club for youth), Cabrera, Vidovic (poached)

    That's
-13 players+Motika/Vidovic who have gotten involved with 1BL clubs in some form.
-21 players (including poached), above 3rd Liga........for now. Of course good chunk will end up playing RL most of season but could be 1st up for chances. Or loan in Winter or Summer.
-curious to what it looks like come 2023.

02s AM/W already double digits in above 3rd Liga. I think come year 1 of 02-03 U21 cycle most of attacking non-CFs will have 02 focus.
-kinda interesting when you notice huge chunk of above 3rd Liga ignored by dfb. Wolf prioritized Amyn (3rd Liga) and Kade (a 04 now in Swiss 1st) over good chunk of 1BL-2BL. And dfb ignored Vidovic for longest time too.

-legit if you compare 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01 aka past 3 U21 cycles including current one. None had anwyhere near amount of AM/W who jumped fast to non-3rd Liga as 02-03s. AND 02-03s got hit hard by covid too, last U19 season for them (02) and 1st in U19 (03s) axed to covid. Than this season for 03s in U19 a lot less matches due to covid too. But a lot of 02-03s AM/W including a few 03s not listed here already shown productivity in RL while still U19 eligible. Too many 95-01 had shit productivity in RL.

With Schmid, Schmidt, Wollschlager, Kastaranas (poached) that's 4 03 CFs training with 1BL. Matanovic (poached), Vonic and Qenaj training in 2BL and Gedikli in Turkish 1st.

    Rest=3rd Liga and under.

did say in past that for some odd reason
Even Age groups have more CFs prospects than odd year.....03s=odd year.

Bad part is from 8 in above 3rd Liga, 5/8=duals........

Don't think you'll see anymore train with above 3rd Liga, best bet is Rolke but with so many youth CFs training with Hertha, no room for now.

Germany's U17s in an individual analysis for the U17 European Championship 2022

    Dennis Seimen — VfB Stuttgart
Seimen played the full distance in every game. Above all, he was involved as an excellent goalkeeper in the build-up game. Here he has always played at risk, but it has always paid off. If the opponent pressed very high, he still delivered very precise balls to the outside. Whenever possible, he also played in a goalkeeper chain. The only mistake in the whole tournament he made against Luxembourg when he lost the ball in the build-up game. Because of the striker's poor finish, however, this did not result in a goal being conceded. Against the ball he was a bench. In four games, he has conceded three open-play goals. He was not involved in any of these goals. On the contrary. With an excellent save, the man from Stuttgart saved the 3:2 victory against Italy.

Conclusion: Seimen played an excellent tournament and would certainly have been the goalkeeper of the tournament had he reached the semi-finals (that will probably be Olmeta now). You should watch his development very closely. He still has a contract with VfB until 2024, which, according to Stuttgarter Nachrichten, will become a professional contract with a term until 2027 when he comes of age. Its development is certainly being watched very closely across Europe.

    Alexandre Azevedo — VfB Stuttgart
Another of five Stuttgarters in the U17 squad. In total he missed a minute: the one before the decisive penalty shoot-out against France. Coach Marc-Patrick Meister's regular left-back played the most minutes in the squad with Sidney Raebinger. On the one hand due to a lack of alternatives on the bench and on the other hand because of his very good performance. Azevedo stood out for his amazing work rate. Offensively, he kept pulling horizontally inwards by dribbling and thus usually attracted two players. From time to time he still has a bad opening dribble, but this rarely happened. He likes to go slowly into the 1v1 against his opponent and then pass him with a quick change of pace. Due to his high pace, he was always able to switch offensively very well. On the outside, he was always in demand with Ulrich and Bischof in direct play. He still needs to work on his passes, especially his deep balls. These were mostly too imprecise. Defensively, due to his basic offensive orientation, his defensive work rate was in demand. Because he has good stamina, he always got back to his defensive position quickly. However, this was often not even necessary because the German team played a good counter-pressing when the ball was lost, which often involved him. In such a system he is in very good hands because of his aggressiveness in a duel.

Conclusion: Azevedo was one of the best players in this German team. Due to the high intensity in his game, the good on-ball skills he has and his very good pace, he could become a very good wing defender. He now has to continue to prove this consistency in his game. In Stuttgart he will play in the U19s next year.

    Paolo Fritschi — VfB Stuttgart
After a very bad start against Italy, Fritschi got into the European Championship better and better. Against Italy he lost the ball too easily against his opponent and thus allowed the 1:2 goal. This game wasn't good in all other aspects either. After that he improved from game to game. With the ball you always see good balls behind the chain, but too rarely. His ball control is between heaven and hell. Sometimes he owes a goal, like against Italy, but sometimes he initiates good attacks with good dribbling, like against France. His good forward defense stands out for him. He is good at anticipating what the opponent will do next and thus engaging him in a promising duel. His good pace for an IV also makes it easy for him to get back on the chain quickly. However, his weaknesses outweigh him. He obviously lacks an overview and concentration, as he keeps losing or not handing over opponents assigned to him. His defense in depth is also lacking.

Conclusion: Fritschi has always flashed good actions, but this was not enough for a regular central defender at an international tournament. Both with the ball and without it, he has to place clearly. The physical abilities are there to make him an exciting player, but I currently see players like Tim Hoffmann in front of him.

Tarek Buchmann — FC Bayern Munich
The Bavarian delivered a consistently good tournament. With Azevedo he was the best defender in the German U17s. His strengths are both passing and defensive 1v1. When it comes to passing, he impresses with long passes in particular. He brings both long, high passes with precision either to the man or behind the chain, as well as line-breaking passes to the top. These were, for example, often initiation actions against the compact Luxembourgers in good attacking situations. With and without the ball, he always proves his composure and resistance to pressing. However, sometimes this calmness when defending feels a bit too calm because he seems slow doing it. This is accompanied by a slight lack of concentration, as you could see against Israel, for example. As mentioned, he stands out against the ball in a defensive 1v1. In these duels he has always asserted himself well against all opposing strikers. He waits for the opponent to make a move before tackling. Rarely did he also have problems defending in front.

Conclusion: Buchmann was one of the best central defenders of the tournament at this European Championship (according to the InStat index even the best player of the tournament — source). The only thing he may still lack are leader qualities, but he doesn't necessarily need them. He has a good chance of becoming a modern, ball-playing central defender. He should play in the Bavarian U19 team next year.

Vincent Manuba — FC Bayern Munich
Manuba came on for Simon Walde in the 76th minute against Italy. From then on, the team's right-back started every remaining game. The Bavarian still played reasonably well against Italy and Luxembourg, but underperformed against Israel and France. His biggest problem is that he's too nervous on the ball and can't muster the required precision. When he was lower in the build-up (usually the right-back in Meister's system is much further up, but the right 8 falls diametrically to the RV position) it was difficult to involve him in the build-up of play, as all German opponents put the AVs under pressure have set. He lost possession of the ball several times against France. He plays very precise crosses as you can see in the preparation for the 1-0 win against Israel. If he ever played deep passes to Weiper, they were rarely received. Defensively, I like his intensity the most. This also helps him again and again in the case of high ball losses, in counterpressing to help regain the ball. But here he also has problems with his defensive overview, defending in front and defensive 1v1. The first point was especially critical against France because he lost sight of his opponent four times within 15 minutes, which also made the 0:1 a lot for the French.
Conclusion: Manuba will play like Buchmann in the FC Bayern U19s next year. There, however, he has significantly less chance of much playing time than Buchmann. He needs to improve urgently, both offensively and defensively. The fact that he played all games from the start was probably also due to the fact that the only other RV in the squad, Simon Walde, did even worse.

    Simon Walde — Borussia Monchengladbach
Walde has defended 75 minutes on right against Italy, as well as against France in the second half, where he came on for a weak Manuba. However, the Gladbacher had almost no good scenes. Against Italy he had extreme problems stopping the powerful Di Maggio from his side. He was repeatedly overrun by him or dribbled out when defending. He had the same problems against France.

Conclusion: His low pace combined with his lack of mobility and his defensive shortcomings do not suggest that Walde will soon play an important role in his year group.

Sidney Raebiger — RB Leipzig (from 22/23 Greuther Fürth)

The Neu-Fuerther has a strenuous tournament behind him. With Azevedo he played the most minutes of all Germans. He was very committed on the defensive and, above all, successful. A lot of ball conquests by the DFB-Elf are based on strong tackles and intensive pressing from him. For Meister, Raebiger was an essential part of the counter-pressing, which he can noticeably implement very well through the RB school. Time and again, these have also been goal-creating actions, such as the 3-0 win against Luxembourg. In addition, he impressed with very good direct play, running workload and progressive dribbling. He always had the ball close to his foot. The only thing that made him look bad was his decisions after pressure and winning the ball. Here he repeatedly played hasty passes that were far too hard to process. Also came close to scoring the goal of the tournament with a volley from outside the box against Israel.

Conclusion: It was enormously important for the defensive stability of the German team, but it clearly suffered from the high pressure of the game against France, which is why he wasn't able to call up 100% of his actual performance. Offensive in the switching game from his own half still too weak. Very, very far in the technical field. Will not stay in the 2nd division for long with enough playing time in Fürth.

Samuele Di Benedetto — VfB Stuttgart
The German-Italian was one of the regular players at the European Championship. Only against Israel he was not in the starting XI. He was mostly used on the left 8 or the 6. He impresses every game with his intensity against the ball. Despite his small body size and the associated poor physique, he can assert himself against the opponent with good tackle technique. He's very toxic and intense in these situations, but without getting overly unfair about it. With the ball, he consistently delivers good passes in depth. In addition, there is very good dribbling with the appropriate flair, as we saw against Italy. Unfortunately, as mentioned, his biggest problem remains his bad physique. Despite his strength in duels, it is often too easy for physically strong players to assert themselves against him. Also, he doesn't necessarily have the stamina for his aggressive playstyle. He often seems out of breath in the 60th — 70th minute.

Conclusion: His further development will depend heavily on his physical development. Next season he will play in the U19. There he will probably take another step forward under Nico Willig. It's enough for more than the U19s, unfortunately not yet because of his body.

Paul Wanner — FC Bayern Munich
He was seen by at least half of all experts before the tournament as a player of the tournament before the tournament (not a representative statement). Unfortunately it wasn't enough for that. Wanner didn't play a really good tournament overall, but it underlined what a huge talent he is. The best example of this is his performance against Italy. For the first 20 minutes he was unassuming and not really engaged. Then he played an Italian in front of the penalty area to give the pre-assist to make it 1-0. Five minutes later he received a throw-in from Nelson Weiper and made Bremen's Chiarodia and the Italian goalkeeper look like slalom poles. Anyone who was on Twitter that day couldn't ignore the clip. After this game, however, the performances were no longer so convincing, which was also due to the rather short playing time. He left the field in the 55th minute against Italy. He didn't play against Israel at all. He was the only one who played through against France (substitution in the 86th minute) and Luxembourg. He didn't really seem really fresh in any of the games. And yet, with many campaigns, you immediately noticed that Wanner can make the difference if he wants to.

Conclusion: Paul Wanner will become one of the best players in the world. He has everything for it. Only injuries can prevent that.

Philipp Schulz — FSV Mainz 05
Schulz played in every game, but only against Israel from the start. When you see him play you can tell he's a classic six. He anticipates opponent's passes very well, leads clean duels and is physically strong. He is also a good communicator, giving instructions to his fellow players. However, he has many problems with the ball. He noticeably lacks the dynamics for the German game, which is why he kept slowing down the game even though he was able to make it progressive. His first touch isn't the best either.

Conclusion: The man from Mainz played a few games with the U19s last season and will be alternating between the Mainz professional squad and the U19s from next season. He will definitely collect his first Bundesliga minutes next season and will definitely take valuable experience with him. In terms of play, however, he needs to develop properly. He already has the physical stature for the BuLi.

Tom Bischof — TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
The 10er of the German team has a leading role on the pitch and this has also been proven in terms of performance. He was probably the best German of the tournament. His excellent deep balls and standards were always a weapon. Add to that: dribbling, deep runs, defensive work rate, occupation of space. It's hard for me to find any real weaknesses in him. If so, perhaps his below-average offensive dynamics and his physique that is too bad for the professional sector. But of course you have to consider that the boy is 17. Technically, he is already at a very, very high level.

Conclusion: Bischof rightly got his first BuLi minutes last season. The fact that no more were added is partly due to the bad season of Sebastian Hoeness, who will be replaced by Andre Breitenreiter this season. He has already proven with Wilfried Gnonto that he can develop talent. If everything goes well and he develops a bit more physically, he could play a bigger role for the Kraichgauers next season.

    Arijon Ibrahimovic — Bayern Munich
The Bavarian actually impressed with good performances, but was still only included in the starting XI against Israel. This will probably have less to do with his own performance than with the fact that his style of play (at first) did not fit into the tactical structure of the coach. Ibrahimovic's best skill is his dribbling. You could see that in the 3-0 win against Luxembourg, where he rounded the goalkeeper very nicely. This goes hand in hand with his ability to solve tight situations, be it through dribbling or passing. By positioning himself well between the lines, he always puts himself in a good position to hold the ball and then knows what he wants to do straight away. Possibly has the best first touch on the team (that's saying something for this technically strong team). He is also very active defensively and gets an above-average number of balls when pressing.

Conclusion: Ibrahimovic got a lot of attention just by his name. In terms of playful potential, this attention should actually only increase. However, the development of a youth player at FC Bayern is always difficult to predict. He definitely has the potential to assert himself there. But will he get enough chances to develop? That remains to be seen.

    Dzenan Pejcinovic — FC Augsburg
Pejcinovic attracted international attention above all through his excellent goal quota with the U17 national team. He has scored 15 goals in 16 games. He was rightly named by many as the tournament's potential top scorer. After the first game against Italy, he also confirmed these assumptions by scoring 3:2 after his substitution with the first touch of the ball, which was decisive in the end. After a very good run into the depths, by the way! These are also his greatest strengths: his finish and his runs into the depths. Especially with diagonal runs, he often pulls two IVs with him. Technically, he is very good at controlling and processing the ball, as you can see from the assist in the 1-1 win against France. Unfortunately, he has his greatest weaknesses defensively. He has unmistakably a very high pressing intensity, but the moments when he presses and the running paths in his pressing are not good, so that he can be played off too easily. Because he also presses so hard, he often commits violent fouls.

Conclusion: His contract with Augsburg expires at the end of the month and it is still not clear where he will go. He is definitely not lacking in offers (ManCity, Milan, Inter, Juve etc.). If he develops a little better defensively, he should soon be able to make his first professional appearances, but of course this also depends on the team he is moving to.

    Laurin Ulrich — VfB Stuttgart
The captain of the U17 selection was particularly important defensively for the compactness of the German team. What attracted his attention most was his very intense and productive pressing, which, among other things, probably gave him preference over Pejcinovic in the end. With one goal and one assist, he didn't really have a good yield for a nominal forward, but that was partly due to his teammates. From the template to 3:2 and the goal against Luxembourg you can see that Ulrich has a high degree of precision in the closing actions. Not only the goal but also the last pass behind the chain. His biggest problem was his fitness. He played through both games against Italy and Luxembourg, and most notably in the first half against Israel in the third group game for looking incredibly exhausted (not surprising given his style of play). The result was a substitution at half-time + only 20 minutes after being substituted against France. But not only must he be blamed for that, but above all the coaching team. Overall, Ulrich brings progressiveness and good defensive behavior to the team.

Conclusion: Ulrich has been training with the VfB first team since the start of the season, for which he will probably soon be completing his first professional minutes. In the U19s he should play an important role under Nico Willig. There are already rumors about a move to FC Bayern, but in my opinion these come too early. He hasn't fully demonstrated that he's someone who can decide a game on his own. He would need this attribute to assert himself at FCB in the long term. For the time being he is in very good hands with VfB.

    Nelson Weiper, FSV Mainz 05
The man from Mainz was definitely the one who had the most bad luck in the DFB team. Alone against Italy, he missed three top chances by shooting directly at the goalkeeper. The fact that he still collected 2 assists in this game proves his quality (one was only a throw-in and Paul Wanner magic, but it doesn't matter). He finally scored his first goal against Luxembourg, but in the end it could have been a lot more than three. However, it proves quality that he gets himself into these good final positions in the first place. With his massive body, he can hold the ball well, and a good first touch also supports his very good wall play. Here he regularly shows that he has a very good technique. While he doesn't have as much pace as one would wish, the timing of where he launches into the depths is almost perfect. This gives him a good mental advantage to even out his pace. This works very well against low blocks, but against opponents like Italy you could see that he lacks the speed for the 20-meter sprint behind the chain. At 1.92m, he already has the standard for a boxing striker. With his size comes a good header technique

Conclusion: The German-Albanian, like his colleague Philipp Schulz, will alternate between the professional squad and the U19s from next season. In the U19-BuLi he has already proven his quality with 9 goals in 5 games. If he gets his finishing problems under control, Mainz could already have a very dangerous (and complementary in terms of playing style) attack duo with Burkhardt and Weiper in 2023/24 (provided that the former stays with Mainz).
He's already the right size, but physically he could still be a bit wider. The prerequisites for this are definitely there.

    some points of contention
    -where is Krattenmacher? lol
-France was 100% physically superior to us but not technically and at this level makes HUGE diff
-Raebiger hit crossbar vs France, we actually had potential to win that match
-Ulrich was overplayed with Stuttgart and came into tourney tired
-Fritschi ONLY CAMEBACK FROM LONG TERM INJURY IN APRIL
-Ibrahimovic was suspended for 1st match too.

-Walde is not that slow like he writes. In Italy match showed constant back and forth with speed. His shortcomings is defensive aspect+struggled vs skilled dribblers.

In any case main weakness of ours was RB and that's 100% where all French chances happened as neither Manuba nor Walde could cope and got bombarded.France didn't much of anything on Azevedo side of things.

although harsh as Walde is training with Gladbach 1st team for first time in this preseason so not like he 0 prospects.

I do suspect Pejcinovic might bail though.
Augsburg is back in training and he looks to be in vacation.........that can't be right unless bailing.

from Summer 2021 to end of season has been training with 1st.
to suddenly leave him out this Summer preseason makes no sense.

something I brought up is that
Buchmann and Fritschi have never played together prior to U17 Euro.

that's right our CB pair have 0 exp together.
When Buchmann was injured Fritschi was fit and when Fritschi was injured Buchmann was fit. Path never crossed.

imagine playting a CB pair for 1st time in a tourney, lol.

    I think
Netz, Rothe, Azevedo look like our most promising LBs.

I'm wait and see on 06-Kabar of Dortmund. Jan seems to liken him to Davies type.

still a lot of other interesting LBs and plenty in 1st training this preseaspn too.

Katterbach is still interesting but still has to improve in same areas and needs to fully get hang of adult top flight footy.

01 CF/W Konigsdorffer gets saved and stays in 2BL.

    FIX: HSV COMMITS RANSFORD KÖNIGSDÖRFFER
THE 20-YEAR-OLD U21 NATIONAL PLAYER SIGNED A FOUR-YEAR CONTRACT AND IS ALREADY TRAINING WITH THE TEAM AT THE TRAINING CAMP IN STYRIA.

HSV can register another addition to the offensive area: Ransford Königsdörffer has switched from Dynamo Dresden to Rothosen. The 20-year-old striker has signed a four-year contract with the Rothosen. "We are very pleased that with Ransford we were able to convince another young, promising player from HSV and our path. He is a fast, technically well-trained player who can be used flexibly on offense and was last nominated for the U21 national team for a good reason,” says board member Jonas Boldt about the transfer.

Königsdörffer has already arrived at the HSV training camp in Styria and will train there today with his new teammates. “Right from the start, those responsible placed a great deal of trust in me and I am very happy that the change has now been finalized. Now it's time to get to know everything. I'm looking forward to the new challenge, the team and the way we want to play football. Here at the training camp, I want to get fully involved from day one,” says the centre-forward.

Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer, as his full name is, was born in Berlin in 2001 and, after his youth clubs SC Minerva and SC Charlottenburg, spent a total of five years in the youth academy of Hertha BSC up to the U19 before moving to the A-Juniors of Dynamo Dresden in 2019 . He made his professional debut for the Saxons on December 20, 2019 at the age of 18 when he came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute of the game at 1. FC Nürnberg. In the past two and a half years, the 1.83 m tall offensive player has played a total of 76 competitive games for Dresden. In the past season he played in 30 games in the 2nd division, scoring five goals and preparing five more.

Königsdörffer, who also has Ghanaian roots, made his debut for the German U21 national team in September last year. In the game against San Marino on September 2, 2021, he came on as a substitute in the 73rd minute. The right-footed player had previously made two appearances for the DFB U20 national team. Now he will also wear the jersey with the rhombus in the future. At HSV he gets shirt number 11.
