it's likely training being outdated in numerous areas. Even Bierhoff highlighted our struggles to produce fullbacks. I think based on prospects that LB is set, CB and RB is more question mark. There are some promising CBs and RBs but whether they are world class prospects, eh.....
-It's official, 98 GK Menzel joins Austria Klagenfurt. Promotion to Bundesliga is between 2 teams only for 1 spot. https://www.skaustriaklagenfurt.at/news/austria-holt-menzel-aus-wolfsburg-1038 -While 01 GK Leonard is joining 3rd Liga club FCK. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCYJYVII819/ LOL, Darmstadt legit wanted Leonard to stay just so that he fits the 4 homegrown no other reason. There is no II team at Darmstadt and they wanted him for GK #3....... I really hate the whole give pro contract to GK #3-#5 crap you see a lot.... with Menzel gone from Wolfsburg the club is running out of homegrown. Horn who recently made his 1BL/pro debut is from Bremen and Justvan is from 1860 Munich. May/Moker both seem headed out to 2BL. Even Yeboah is linked with out, not a huge amount of options. If Klinger who's 25 and GK#4 leaves they will have even less homegrown. Makes you wonder if they keep Yeboah around for a year on purpose? Or give pro contract to 00 CB Siersleben but never use him? Don't think they will trust a young CB without pro experience....
Update on two German 02s in Switzerland. We got tons of players in lower levels in neighboring countries. -02 Robin Kalem of Grasshoppers Zurich in Swiss 2nd division, his club is Swiss Super League promotion candidates as they currently lie in 2nd place. In Youth teams you also have the following, 00-Suter, 02-Ceremi, 04-Di Brizzi (has been called up to dfb camp), 04-Radulovic, 04-Kurzidim, 05-Pfeiffer, 05-Oettlin. and this is just from Basel, one club, lol. 10 players in all levels with 3 currently in 1st team. -00 AM Ahmed who joined Thun U21 in Summer 2019, moved to Thun 1st team in Swiss Superleague in Jan 2020, has already played 8 games and 155 min in 1st team. Although club is relegation candidates. -Posted in past that 98-Hug from Freiburg II moving to Vaduz in Swiss 2nd division, they are promotion candidates. And due to club winning the Liechenstein Cup, Vaduz have qualified to the ELQ. There is already a German there in 96-Dorn.
RB Leipzig U19 wins their regional cup beating Dynamo Dresden 4-1 (this is still a team in highest U19 Nord/Nordost league) in final.Means they qualify for next season's DFB Junioren Cup. Looks like 02 CB Martel has been made captain as he lifted the trophy and he also scored once. 02-Wosz who scored 5 goals in previous 2 games, today had a hat trick of assists,it seems. While 03-Ibrahimi assisted the final goal, which saw him dribble by 2 players before laying it off to the Dane Madsen. and this is without 02 CF Borkowski. Remainder, Dennis Borkowski is moving into the professional squad The head coach was satisfied with the short assignments of both young players. Riesaer Borkowski, in particular, had a good scene when he refueled in the penalty area but then got stuck on the last Augsburg (89th). "He did it well today, he plays it free from the soul," Nagelsmann praised. In the U19, the 1.84 meter tall and physically assertive attacker, who started at Stahl Riesa, had scored 11 goals (three assists) in 16 league games. The right foot is said to be firmly in the RB line-up in the coming season and will probably also fly to the Champions League tournament in Lisbon, where, after Timo Werner's resignation, there is a striker shortage at RB. "He'll be in the squad with us," announced Nagelsmann. “It is a little easier for him as an offensive player. Errors that happen are not as important as sixes. ” The position of Krauss.
seeing tons of comments about how 02-Wosz was the most noticeable player in the game from both teams and Martel wasn't far behind. Believe that Ibrahimi is being used as sub so far, which makes sense between his speed/dribbling and younger age group. And with Leipzig U19 playing 3 competitions he'll get a lot of playing time still a promising player. They have also have some other interesting 03s like Klein and company. on 02-Wosz, could be played all over attack, on him from past. "His biggest qualities are his one on one dribbling skills and the ability to score! In his matches he’s always showing flexibility and you can find him on both, the left and right wing!"
According to kicker, -On 01-Dajaku, yeah not a fan of him at RB......doesn't Bayern want to make Sanyang to an RB/RWB??? You still have Bruckner for RB, don't see the need to make him into a RB and if he goes on loan it'll be because he can play ALL attacking positions. "Leon Dajaku is likely to be loaned out in the summer to a first division team in Europe or a 2. Bundesliga team. In the medium term, Dajaku could be converted into a right-back, as Bayern are looking for an alternative to Benjamin Pavard." -On 00-Mai, "Lars Lukas Mai is set to leave Bayern on loan this summer. Possible destinations: 2. Bundesliga, Dutch Eredivisie or Belgian Pro League. Mai will follow the example of Adrian Fein and go up step by step in his career." -On 01-OBM, "Oliver Batista-Meier is attracting interest from several teams, including TSG Hoffenheim. Hansi Flick wants to keep OBM in his squad next season, but the player would like to get more game time." -On 99-Fein, "After returning from his 2 year loan in Regensburg and HSV, Adrian Fein is planned as a Bayern first team player for next season." -On 99-Hoffmann and 00-Fruchtl. I mean Hoffmann already said that he's willing to stay next season if he's #1 in 3rd Liga while Fruchtl has been wanting a loan for ages now. "Either Christian Früchtl or Ron-Thorben Hoffmann will be loaned out this summer, while the other will remain as starter for the second team and cover the number three spot behind Neuer and Nübel." -On 03-Musiala (still open if he's for this thread or dual/triple). So will Rhein/Gunther/Mbi play U19 or II? "Having made appearances for the U17s up until the first team this season, Jamal Musiala is planned as a regular player for FCB II next season."
update • Coutinho & Odriozola 100% leaving. • Perišić unlikely to be signed permanently • Thiago will be sold if he doesn't extend • Javi & Ulreich departures likely • Tolisso could stay if Javi and/or Thiago leave Additions: Additions • RB & possibly a midfielder this whole thing does show that making to Bayern directly is doubtful. No mention of Arp's future? But they do mention that Zirkzee is staying and he'll continue to be Lewa's Back up. I see no point in Arp staying when you have Jastremski, Tillman (where is he planned to play anyways? He doesn't see himself as CF more CM/AM) and likely new entry for CF decent chance someone older than 00-02, you still want a more experienced CF to take Wriedt's place and Zirkzee could still go down and play there too. You would block Arp's dev and the dev of others if you have too many CF options. Unused bench/sub doesn't really help dev young players. Also don't buy that Flick would give Arp any real game time as CF #3........unless Lewa gets injured........ Does Stiller play another year in II? Seems likely for him that he's likely there for back up next season. Does Mbi move to II so that the backup to 1st team is in II? Would be curious to see how Bayern plans to integrate Fein? Seems like Martinez/Thiago leaving could open door for him. so once again mention that Flick is high on OBM but he only used him like once out of 15 or something.....So he wants to him stay? With Perisic and Coutinho both leaving there could be openings in 1st team for attacking players. And OBM can play W/AM too, more flexible but once you start bringing in more and more attackers it becomes doubtful he'll be anything but a back up option. If you have guys like Musiala/Tillman/Gunther etc, they can play your back up option. No need to keep OBM around for that. well it'll be good to see Fruchtl (likely), Mai, Dajaku, OBM (if he does leave) trying to make career progress. Hopefully Arp too.
the only + about Dajaku playing RB is likely more game time I recall Flick played him at LB in one of his 2 1BL games this season. LOL, Dajaku can play ALL attacking positions+fullback. Only thing missing would be CB and midfielder and then he would be playable in 10/10 outfield positions, lol. But I dont him to be permanent RB either. But I think he wants a loan that was what was said some week back that Utrecht and other clubs are interested. Likely wants to play full season worth of games at higher level and not here and there and mostly sub/unused bench. seems like more and more 1BL clubs value Eredivisie, Belgian 1st division, Austrian Bundesliga as destinations for loans but also in terms of purchasing transfers too. There is also fact that players in those clubs can play European football too, which is another bonus if you can loan a player in those places. if you believe UEFA coefficent, Belgium is rated higher than the rest, it follows the top 5+Russia/Portugal only. Austrian/Netherlands seems comparable in rankings. I personally don't care about rankings but it is there for those who do care. More interested in gaining 1st division experience.
00-Batzner who left Stuttgart is also linked with Belgian move too. not too mention that there are 2 German coaches in Belgium 1st division including Blessin who was involved in RB Leipzig youth for 8 years too. so are finally seeing Bayern Munich make legit efforts to loan out players? RB Leipzig too seems headed for that as well wanting cooperation deal with a club in either 2BL, Eredivisie, Danish 1st division, Austria or Belgium. And Blessin who last coach Leipzig U19 didn't rule out signing Leipzig players either. I still think it's nonsense that factually the 1BL club who loans out the most is Bremen, lol at like 12-13 players. And fact is majority of those will never play for the 1st team. Yet it took forever for the big German clubs to make loaning moves.
Interesting, 98-R.Baku is listed at #3 most pre-assist player. Most pre assists (pass before the final assist) in the Bundesliga this season [Kicker] pic.twitter.com/W1dK3Uiln0— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) July 12, 2020 why is it impressive? Sancho, Brandt, Hakimi=Dortmund Thiago, Lewa, Kimmich=Bayern Stindl=Gladbach (still want him for Olympics) Havertz=Bayer Laimer=RB Leipzig what do all these players have in common? They ALL play in top 5 clubs in Germany. R.Baku plays for a club who barely survived relegation battle towards the bottom half. And R.Baku was moved to RB too and has more pre-assist than Hakimi the other RB listed.
some other comments, -if Fein plays Bayern 1st team which a lot of indication (some think he's ready others not, it's Flick who will decide on final answer), when was the last time we had a Germany U21 player playing at Bayern? I think Rensing was the last one. Guys like Muller and company skipped U21 while others were playing at other clubs and then moved to Bayern later. -On OBM we will know if he stays it's more likely because Flick intends on giving him more game time. If he leaves it's because he wasn't going to get more than bit time aka back up role. what's interesting is that players like, (not counting Kuhn who was only on loan), Fruchtl, Mai, Dajaku, OBM, Arp (hopefully him too even if Winter loan...), they are all 2023 U21 Euro eligible and could all be headed for higher game time next season which is still 98-99 cycle. Makes you wonder if anyone sneaks into the 2021 U21 Euro or Olympics? It's going to be even more interesting since Stiller, Waidner, and Jastremski could all want to move to higher level come 2021 time. Right on cue for the start of the 00-01 U21 cycle. I think most players will only want 1-2 season tops in 3rd Liga and no more. also means that not only do players play in pro levels next season but they could be in even higher level from 2021-2023. And this just 00-01 from Bayern Munich, doesn't count the rest of Germany or the ones abroad.
I didn't count 01-Kehl because if the let's call them rumors say he's headed to RL loan next season. I don't think he'll find time to make it to higher level. It means that he'll be in 3rd Liga in 2021-2022 season, we don't call up lower than 2BL outside of GKs. It only leaves him 1 season to play higher level which is 2022-2023 aka the U21 Euro year. Which would put him down down the pecking order. Waidner will likely play above 3rd Liga-RL level in 2021-onwards. So he has better prospects for U21. but get the feeling neither will end up making the 00-01 U21 likely due to their already being LBs and RBs making career progress and more will breakthrough in future.
I mentioned that an article about 01-Cestic and 01-Akalp was deleted from Express, it's back now. News from the FC rumor mill Cologne talents in the focus of top international clubs? The 1: 6 disgrace at Werder Bremen will remain in the memory of many Cologne players for a long time. One thing in particular: Tim Lemperle (18) made his professional debut at the Weserstadion at the end of June - alongside Christian Clemens' (28) comeback, it was the only positive thing from an FC perspective this afternoon. Lemperle, who signed his first professional contract in May, was the fifth home-grown season for FC in this season after Darko Churlinov (19), Ismail Jakobs (20), Noah Katterbach (19) and Jan Thielmann (18) the Bundesliga debuted. In addition, Florian Wirtz (17) and Can Bozdogan (19), two former Cologne players at other clubs, managed to get started in the upper house. Rumors about Sava Cestic and Erkan Akalp A defensive duo from the FC-U19 are currently waiting to be promoted to the professionals: Sava Cestic (19) and Erkan Akalp (18) have been able to train several times with the Bundesliga team, but are initially scheduled for the U21. In the past few weeks they have been on the training ground with Coach Mark Zimmermann's (46) regional league team. But the two obviously arouse desires beyond the billy goat home ... LOSC Lille interested in Sava Cestic Central defender Cestic is said to be on the wish list of French top club LOSC Lille, according to “Foot Mercato”. The fourth in the table of the past Ligue 1 season, which thus participates in the Europa League, should not be the only prospect for the 1.92 meter tall German Serb. Cestic has not yet signed a professional contract, his FC contact will only run until 2021. Trabzonspor hot for Erkan Akalp Akalp, in turn, is said to have become the focus of Trabzonspor. That reports "Fotospor". The table runner-up of the Turkish Süper Lig is on the way to the Champions League. Left-back Akalp only signed a new FC contract until 2022 during the Corona break in March and said: “I want to take my next steps in football here. I've been with FC since the U8, I feel very comfortable here and couldn't imagine playing anywhere else. ” In the canceled U19 season, Akalp and Cestic were among the regulars in the team of former professional trainer Stefan Ruthenbeck (48). FC won the Bundesliga west season ahead of Borussia Dortmund's talents, and there was no final round for the championship this year. https://www.express.de/sport/fussba...-im-fokus-internationaler-top-klubs--36933050 Trabzonspor aren't going to get a player who just extended in March 2020. But Cestic could leave. I still think it's very doubtful that Koln integrates 2 01 CB who have 0 pro experience in same season. Easier for other positions but not CB. It's obvious that Voloder is ahead of Cestic in pecking order. Which makes Cestic staying more questionable especially with 2021 contract. And he might not want to play RL. I've been to Turkey a couple of times, beautiful place but Turkey in footballing terms can **** off nothing but poachers. Akalp could find it easier to get chances if he's designated as Katterbach's back up and reality is guys like Jakobs and Katterbach will eventually be sold too.....which should make it easier for Akalp and even guys like Obuz to make the 1st team regularly.
lol, 97 CF lyoha linked with move to Turkey 1st division. Düsseldorf: Striker after return on loan in the focus of Fenerbahçe Fortuna Düsseldorf is playing in Germany's second division in the new season. The team of Friedhelm Funkel's successor Uwe Rösler was one point behind Bremen after the last matchday. Thus Florian Kohfeldt's team reached the relegation, prevail against Heidenheim and is now looking forward to another year in the Bundesliga. Düsseldorf, on the other hand, plans to restart in the lower house, which means lower income. Player sales could generate money for the upcoming upheaval. In addition to Kaan Ayhan and Kenan Karaman, a returnee is also one of the possible sources of income. Iyoha to Kiel-Loan back in Düsseldorf Emmanuel Iyoha has played for Fortuna since 2011. First in the youth area and later, from 2016, for the first team. There, however, he could not assert himself and initially switched to VfL Osnabrück on loan. A short return followed, the renewed one-year loan to Aue and last year the move to Holstein Kiel. For the storks, the striker scored nine league goals, now he could support the Düsseldorfers with his marksmanship. The 22-year-old is contractually bound to Fortuna until 2022. However, whether or not he has a long-term future with relegation is questionable based on rumors. According to information from the Turkish journalist "Hakan Kurt", Fenerbahçe Istanbul has expressed interest and has already made the first efforts. After three loans, the native of Düsseldorf is faced with a groundbreaking decision: second division with Düsseldorf or a long-term change, possibly to Turkey. After descent: Fortuna must be "creative" CEO Thomas Röttgermann spoke to the "Express" about the consequences of the descent. "We want sporting success and a powerful squad, but we mustn't turn the screw, we have to be careful." The 59-year-old also emphasized that one had to be "creative" when it comes to transfers and the composition of the squad. In the case of Iyoha, Düsseldorf could either look forward to a transfer fee or finally rely on the services of the attacker. What the club decides will soon become apparent. https://www.fussballeck.com/bundesl...-nach-leih-rueckkehr-im-fokus-von-fenerbahce/ Fenerbahce are still in contention to make EL with 2 games to go. They are currently just outside Europe but only 3 pts separates #3 and #7 (outside). although Rosler did mention him when talking about next season squad. Will be curious to see what's next for him. I do think lyoha is very likely to end up playing for Nigeria in the future too. In the long run, do think he'll end up in dual/triple thread rather than youth or forward thread.
speaking of loan armies aka Bremen. There is the already confirmed 00-Mbom who signed extension during corona and who is headed to 1st team in Summer for next season. then you got, NIKLAS SCHMIDT (VFL OSNABRÜCK) 25 games, five goals, one template: Niklas Schmidt has had a good year with second division club VfL Osnabrück. Although he only came on as a substitute in the final sprint, the 22-year-old had his share in the fact that the purple and white managed to stay in the league. He will stay in Osnabrück for another year. JANNES VOLLERT (HALLESCHER FC) Jannes Vollert has had an exhausting season. Just like his parent club Werder Bremen, he fought against relegation with Halleschen FC until the last matchday - with success. The 22-year-old was mostly the tower in battle: the central defender played 34 games for the Halle team and was convincing in most cases. Apparently so much that his home club Holstein Kiel is said to have had an eye on him. The loan business with Halle is, however, designed for another year. THORE JACOBSEN (1. FC MAGDEBURG) At Werder Bremen, it never worked out with a competitive game. It was completely different in Magdeburg: There Thore Jacobsen (23) played an important role in the past season and even shot the FCM with his goal against FC Ingolstadt for early relegation. Magdeburg would have loved to keep the trained left-back (contract until 2021), who was often used in central midfield, longer. However, there is a change to a second division team - in this case there would be a small transfer fee for Werder. OLE KAUPER (CARL ZEISS JENA) Another difficult season is behind Ole Käuper. With FC Carl Zeiss Jena he descended into the regional league and has only been able to stand by for the past few months. At the end of February, the 23-year-old contracted a patellar tendon dislocation in the left knee. Before that, Käuper had 21 games and three goals for the East Club. How and where things will go in future for Käuper remains to be seen. His contract at Werder Bremen runs until 2021. But the genuine Bremer should not have a future on the Weser. JAN-NIKLAS BESTE (FC EMMEN) His season with the Dutch first division club FC Emmen can be summarized as follows: "Extremely unfortunate". The 21-year-old only made six appearances before a serious knee injury stopped him. Nevertheless, the club from the Eredivisie is apparently interested in keeping the left-back for another season. If Bremen-based Jan-Niklas want to bestow again, they would have to extend their contract, which expires in 2021, before that. https://www.deichstube.de/news/werd...he-bundesliga-transfers-wechsel-13719739.html such a joke that Vollert is loaned for 2 years in 3rd Liga. 2 years in 2BL fine but not 3rd Liga if he was like 18-20 fine but he turned 22 in January and he played almost 40 games in RL. I've always been critical of long loans to 3rd Liga for the exact reason listed. After 1 year, he impressed and 2BL club is interested does he stay to play out his loan and waste a chance to move up?
The Bremen players seem to be, 97-Kauper (anything below 2BL would be wasteful), Jacobsen (linked with 2BL move) 98-Vollert (as mentioned above loan until 2021 but already 2BL interest) , Schmidt (on 2BL loan until 2021), J.Eggestein (Baumman/Kohfeldt still rate him and think he has a future, will talk to him soon enough. Main issue is position wise he's in limbo, they don't seem to know where to play him). 99-Agu (poached from 2BL and in 1st team from this Summer), Goller (did well in his limited game time in 1BL and useful player with his speed/dribbling, but wouldnt be surprised if he goes on loan. On the other hand, Rashica might be sold, loaning off potential difference makers might be a mistake. His main issue is physicality), Beste (established himself in XI in Eredivsie only to get injured long term, club wants to reloan him. Guess Bremen loans him out, sees how he does and if he devs well could come back). 00-Mbom (returns to 1st team after 1 year loan), Plogmann (should go on loan this Summer, seen as potential future #1, already made 1BL debut) Ihorst (made his 1BL/pro debut and should go on loan this Summer, him and Philipp fit 2-3 year plan, so logically year 2 aka next season should=loan), Philipp (almost went on loan in Winter, should go on loan this Summer), Rieckmann (was unused bench in 1st team, he said during season that he'll see about whether he has 1st team chances or goes on loan), Gruev (poached by Bulgaria, has 2020 contract, yet to be renewed. If he has no perspective he'll leave over wasting more time in RL) 01-Schonfelder (poached from Mainz, Signed pro contract. We'll see if he starts in 1st team or II. Very flexible player, my guess is starts in II and goes from there.),Dinkci (tons of clubs want to poach him,but he has a 2022 contract. Starts in II but could get 1st team chances. I mean if you don't give him 1st team chances, 0 reasons to stay in beyond Summer 2021), Nawrocki (poached by Poland, has pro contract, likely starts in II) 02-Woltemade (very promising player and youngest ever Bremen debutant, will likely continue to integrate him). not going to bring up 02-onwards since Bremen rarely ever has players jump from U19 to 1BL. It's more like II-1st team. other players, I'm curious to how they do, 99-Wiemann (did make the Bremen 1st team bench but unused), Badjie 00-Rorig, Hackethal (who remembers when this guy was 00 U17 NT LB 1st choice but then lost all relevance. Damn, TM lists him at 1.65m tall......), Becker (only 2020 contract), Pudic (ex Bayern player), 01-Schneider, Wulff, Engelhardt, Poznanski, Schroder, not a huge fan of Bremen and their loan army but you have to give them credit for helping their players move up to in ranks. Almost every other club ONLY loans out players with 1st team prospects, Bremen even loans out some who aren't really 1st team players.
-More on 01-Dajaku, that's why I'm not into him at RB seems like permanent move.....and if it doesn't work out does he go back to being an attacker??? He only gets retraining if he stays, since clubs who take him on loan won't be to be fullback but attacker. Leon Dajaku's first year at Bayern went according to plan. Now the next career step could be pending. This summer Dajaku wants to take the next step. FT can confirm a report from the 'kicker', according to which a loan from the 19-year-old is an issue. According to our information, there is currently a lot to be said for a loan abroad, interested parties come from the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. In the new season, Dajaku wants to play at first division level if possible. The U19 international has a perspective with Bayern professionals. Trainer Hansi Flick has tested Dajaku several times as a full-back. With its dynamism, the 1.80 meter right foot definitely has a basic requirement for this position. A permanent retraining as a defender similar to the Alphonso Davies case has already been discussed internally. https://www.fussballtransfers.com/a25919936615682300-leihe-thema-ausland-ruft-bayerns-dajaku -Koln is willing to listen to offers for 00-Bisseck and 3 other players. Looks like his Koln time is over. If Koln convinces Cestic to stay between him and Voloder they have enough CB prospects. -On top of 1BL Augsburg, now 2BL Jahn and other 2BL clubs are also interested in 97-Thalhammer. https://www.kicker.de/779537/artikel/_er_weiss_es_regensburg_an_ingolstadts_thalhammer_interessiert -Not yet set that 98-Dorsch is going to Belgium. With 1. FC Heidenheim Niklas Dorsch almost rose to the Bundesliga, now the midfielder is hotly courted. He was recently associated with the Belgian first division club KAA Gent. But other clubs are also interested in the 22-year-old, whose contract expires in 2021. 1. FC Heidenheim could only generate a transfer this summer or in the upcoming winter transfer phase. https://www.kicker.de/4000000034002/transfermeldung/nicht-nur-gent-interessiert-sich-fuer-do -98 Shipnoski could end up in 2BL Karlsruher after Wehen got relegated. https://www.liga-zwei.de/ksc-an-shipnoski-dran/ -99 GK Weiner of Kiel linked with 3rd Liga Magdeburg move. https://www.liga3-online.de/behrens-backup-fcm-hat-kiels-weiner-im-visier/ -For now, 97-Teuchert and 97-Carls return to Schalke. https://www.kicker.de/4000000033988...er-trio-um-teuchert-koennte-schalke-verlassen
00 GK Bekenmeyer who made his pro debut in 2BL in last matchday extends at Osnabruck. 2⃣0⃣2⃣1⃣✍ Die Torhüter David Buchholz und Laurenz Beckemeyer bleiben ein weiteres Jahr an Bord. Beide Verträge wurden für die kommenden Zweitligasaison verlängert! ➡ https://t.co/DFhHlHmXi5 pic.twitter.com/EHDdtCVxXw— VfL Osnabrück (@VfL_1899) July 13, 2020 Laurenz Beckemeyer also signed with VfL Osnabrück for another year. The 20-year-old also switched from his own U19 to the license area of the purple and whites last summer. In the last season game of the 2019/20 season at Dynamo Dresden, the youngster was deployed shortly before the end and was able to sniff out second division air. “Even if David Buchholz and Laurenz Beckemeyer were not able to perform well on the pitch, they were both factors that should not be underestimated for the overall success of the team last year. They kept the level of training high and gave us the feeling at all times that we can rely on them when they are needed, ”explains VfL Sports Director Benjamin Schmedes about the contract extensions. Goalkeeper coach Rolf Meyer adds: “Last year, the goalkeeper team offered excellent performances throughout the season, from training to matches. Therefore, we are glad that in addition to Philipp Kühn, David Buchholz and Laurenz Beckemeyer will remain on board in this constellation. Both identified themselves one hundred percent with their respective roles and joined the team. ”
Gladbach's 01 GK Olschowsky signs pro contract, already 2nd from the 01 age group at Gladbach following 01-Kurt. For 01s, Gladbach has plenty of interesting prospects. 🙌 Vom @FohlenStall zu den Profis! Borussia hat Nachwuchskeeper Jan Olschowsky heute mit einem bis Juni 2023 laufenden Profivertrag ausgestattet! 💪 pic.twitter.com/NJWQG8PklM— Borussia (@borussia) July 13, 2020 OLSCHOWSKY SIGNS PROFESSIONAL AGREEMENT AT BORUSSIA Olschowsky signs professional contract with Borussia Borussia has provided junior keeper Jan Olschowsky with a professional contract that runs until June 2023. The 18-year-old young goalkeeper signed his new contract this Monday morning in the BORUSSIA-PARK. “We are delighted that we can retain Jan, another player from our own youth performance center. Jan is a great goalkeeper talent who has developed extremely well. Now it is up to him to continue working on himself in order to take the next step at some point and become a Bundesliga goalkeeper, ”said sports director Max Eberl. The goalkeeper trained in the foal stable made his debut on October 13, 2018 in a 2-1 win against SV Straelen at the age of 16 for Borussias U23 in the Regionalliga West. In the 2018/19 season, another fourth division stake was added for the then teenager. Most of his games - 22 in total - he played in the said season for Borussia U19 in the A-Junior Bundesliga West. Although he would still be eligible to play for the U19s, Olschowsky has been playing in the U23s since last summer, where he immediately became a regular between the posts. Olschowsky guarded the box of the young FohlenElf 18 times in the past season before the season had to be stopped in mid-March due to the corona pandemic. On November 18 of last year Olschowsky came of age - on this day he played his first and only international match for the German U19 national team against Northern Ireland (1-1). Despite his young age, the young goalkeeper sniffed a lot of professional air. He has already participated in several training camps and numerous training units at the FohlenElf and, as the fourth goalkeeper behind Yann Sommer, Tobias Sippel and Max Grün, has been part of the expanded professional team for almost two years.
Wolfsburg update, they extend with 00-Marx, 01-Pohlmann and 02-Beifus (skips last U19 season and going to II). So they will be mainly used in II but more is possible also no indication to how many years they signed. 2-3??? This isn't pro contracts either, but makes you wonder if they wanted them for the purpose of homegrown??? There are still Wolfsburg players I'm curious about their futures. Yeah, they call them "top talents" but wait for them to not use any of them when the time comes. Top-Talente verlängern Verträge: Marx, Pohlmann und Beifus langfristig an die Wölfe gebunden. 💪➡️ https://t.co/h23QugvFEu#VfLWolfsburg pic.twitter.com/adUa6yC5Gk— VfL Wolfsburg (@VfL_Wolfsburg) July 13, 2020 Top talents extend contracts Marx, Pohlmann and Beifus bound to VfL in the long term. The top talents Dominik Marx, Ole Pohlmann and Marcel Beifus have extended their contracts with VfL Wolfsburg in the long term. In the new 2020/2021 season, all three will primarily be used in the U23 and take their next steps here. Marx has been part of the VfL II this season, Pohlmann and Beifus are now from the U19 to the U23 wolves. Pablo Thiam, sporting director of the VfL football academy, is very satisfied with the contract extensions: “The fact that all three stay with us shows that they feel that they are in very good hands with us. We are very confident that they will continue to develop optimally and can therefore offer themselves for even higher tasks. Last season has shown that this can succeed. ” Dominik Marx (20) has been playing in Wolfsburg since 2013 and then switched from Goslarer SC to the wolves. He has played three caps so far. Ole Pohlmann (19) came from Hannover 96 to the green-whites in 2015 and has had four caps so far. Marcel Beifus (17) has been in the club for three years and is a two-time international.
And the update on Arp, that was missing. From kicker, Fiete Arp needed, especially after his injuries, stability and a lot of practice. He should get this in Bavaria or elsewhere. Bavaria=II........so yeah he's also a loan candidate. Should just go for it anyways. 3rd Liga will never be enough for 1st team anyways. Would just be wasting another season playing low level stuff. If he can land in a smaller 1st division league might not be a bad thing for him especially if he can start majority of matches. I still don't want him and other attackers in II to eat each other's playing time...
so based on kicker, the players Flick wants to keep for next season are Zirkzee (Lewa's back up) and OBM (even if there is numerous interest in him) that's it. And a thinking towards retraining Dajaku as RB otherwise he's not staying, so a maybe towards him. But Dajaku based on all reports wants 1st division match practice so doesn't seem to want to stay. And if Bayern is so insistent on retraining him at fullback why is he always used as attacker in II? LOL.
out of curiosity how tall is 01-Pohlmann? according to TM, CB Beifus is listed at 1.87m and Pohlmann at 1.84m but from that tweet pic, Pohlmann looks taller than Beifus. Pohlmann is interesting prospect, can basically play all attacking positions and is skilled too. That's what's makes him hard to ignore player and even more so if he boosts his physicality even more. although feels like Beifus is going up to II because someone like 00 CB Siersleben could either leave or go on loan. Marx getting extension could be linked to fact that 98-May and 99-Moker are both headed to 2BL and neither looks like a loan..... would like to see at the min one of Siersleben, Beifus and Lang make it as CB at Wolfsburg. Seems like Beifus is ahead of Lang, even during season Beifus was playing II while Lang wasn't. I don't think 98-Franke stays either, he was on loan to 2BL where he played 805 min in all competition how do you go from 2BL to RL? Seems doubftful. 00 CF Herrmann has been trying to ditch Wolfsburg for awhile now and they blocked him due to others being injured and because Wolfsburg II were contenders for 3rd Liga promotion until corona screwed them over and declared #1 Lubeck as winners and they got promotion. Still has 2022 contract, does he stay or finally leave? 1st team chances could happen due to fact that Wolfsburg will have 3 competitions. Although with Glasner who loves unused bench, questionable, but 5 subs does help.
on a dfb note, am I the only one who realizes AGAIN, how weird it is that dfb rated 02-Obuz more than 02-Lemperle when Lemperle is the one who last season jumped to U19 early while Obuz was playing U17. Than this season, it's Lemperle who went to Winter Camp, got a pro contract, made his 1BL debut where he did well and seems like he'll move to 1st team next season. And I recall mentioning it last season when talking about Obuz call up too, that dfb picked him over Lemperle. Another case of dfb rating a player more than his own club........I still think Obuz is interesting player but from career progress and club, Lemperle is ahead.
01-Krauss and 01-Jakel of RB Leizpig headed for Belgian loans. RB Leipzig: Talents Krauss and Jäkel before moving to Belgium? RB Leipzig's talents Tom Krauss and Frederik Jäkel are supposed to get the toughness for professional football through loan business. According to a media report, they could do this with the Belgian first division club KV Oostende, where Leipzig's former U19 coach Alexander Blessin is in charge. Leipzig. So far, five personal details have been fixed at RB Leipzig for the coming season. Goalkeeper Josep Martinez (UD Las Palmas), Benjamin Henrichs (AS Monaco) and Hee-chan Hwang (FC Red Bull Salzburg) have been selected as additions. Negotiations with Bremen attacker Milot Rashica stalled due to the fact that Leipzig's offer was too narrow from a Werder perspective. Timo Werner and Ethan Ampadu (loan end) have already moved to Chelsea in the Premier League. Two other players could leave the third of the past Bundesliga season in the summer, at least temporarily. According to a report by the Bild newspaper, Leipzig's former U19 coach Alexander Blessin wants to guide Tom Krauss and Frederik Jäkel to his new club, the Belgian first division club KV Oostende. According to the report, the talents should switch to the Jupiler Pro League for one year. Both are said to have last visited the coastal town to see the training center and club. Contracts extended to 2024 and 2025 The defensive midfielder Krauss (19) is a native of Leipzig, a real home grown, also Jäkel (Dommitzsch) comes from the region. Both are absolute leaders in the U19 of grassball and belong to the tribe of the U19 national team. In the coming season, however, they could hardly count on any chances with the RBL professionals. Therefore, lending transactions would be an ideal solution to give the duo playing time and tough competition in the professional area. Julian Nagelsmann recently brought a German second division team into play. Krauss had trained with the RB pros in the past season and made his professional debut against FC Augsburg on matchday 34 in the final phase. Jäkel also regularly attended the training sessions on Cottaweg and was once in the Bundesliga squad. In the second half of the season, RB extended the duo's contracts until 2024 (Jäkel) and 2025 (Krauß). A clear sign that those responsible believe in them and want to integrate them into the team in the medium term. So far, since the association was founded in 2009, despite spending millions and an enormous amount of personnel, no professional growth has been able to assert itself permanently in the professional team. This flaw could soon be a thing of the past. https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/rb-leipzig-talente-krauss-und-jakel-vor-wechsel-nach-belgien/ good finally some movements for the Leipzig youngsters. And I stated it before that Blessin should be 100% embarrassed if after 8 years involved in Leipzig youth if 0 make the 1st team for realz. Spending a decade with 0 success is complete and utter failure on his part. And it's good that he wants to continue helping them to take the next step. I think 01-Hartmann is likely staying (for now) at Leipzig, he did make bench numerous times and he's an attacking player, so less pressure on him. 02-Borkowski also being an attacker has it easy. now the question mark is 01-Talabidi 2021 pro contract. What's next? And 01-Bias who likely leaves where next? guys like Schreiber, Martel, Wosz can continue playing in U19. Wosz being an attacker could also get 1st team chances easier.
