I am glad to hear that about Mohya because he seems like a big talent and skillful winger that we lack. Klopp should do his best to convince him to play for Germany and promise him of call up asap if he develops well and keep starting for gladbach.

 

I agree on Cullbreath. He looks like a very hard working and talented right back or winger. Let us wait and see if he can breakthrough bayer this season and if will be deployed as winger or rb. Unfortunately , he has US nationality too so he might ditch us too one day.

 

Tresoldi should be the first call up for Klopp . If he goes to Calcio it will be harder to keep him. Hopefully BVB can buy him so he comes back to BL.
I think Klopp should start calling up new players in Fall rather than wait till Euro gets closer to make sure we avoid poaching and to get the team together early on.

 

the worry about that is usually best time to poach for anyone is during a coaching change. A time when the new coach hasn't fully settled yet. I agree, hopefully he gets a U21 call up next season and establish himself in XI at Gladbach and from there work his way into SNT. If he gets U21 call up he should be honored as 08 are 2 cycles away from current U21 and its rare for someone to get called up 2 cycles.

I don't trust any USA, Turkish, Balkan players those are ones who ditch fast. I'm surprised we even kept Brown, LOL. I think Brown is because he was a RARE player who WANTED to work his way into Germany SNT, he wasn't really playing maybe maybe not games, it was obvious USA was 2nd choice if he fails with Germany. Most players these days have 0 interest in working their way and will ditch at WC ticket.

what's interesting to note is that 06 CB Banks of 1BL Augsburg rejected a USA WC26 potential call up because he realized he didn't want to commit to USA at this point in time AKA not made final choice. Have to say that is bizarre, as one would expect he would bail and take advantage seems to me like deep down he wants Germany call up. Wonder what will happen on that front in future. Will he commit to USA or go DFB.

Culbreath seems to indicate that he hasn't made his final choice on Germany or USA. But at same time looking like no hurry to rush and just won 2nd place in U19 Euro. I do think if he continues to play in Bayer 1st team and indications he will for now so he good chance will get upped to U21 next season. And Yeah I'm curious to see where hes played next season at Bayer whether more fullback or W, I suspect fullback, most think reason he was upped to 1st team was because he was flexible and Bayer needed someone at RB, RWB and he was suitable for role and when given chance he took it and impressed. Some believe that Culbreath is type of player that would be suitable in Klopp system too. Time will tell about that.

 

Another player who is waiting for call from Germany U21 at least is Louai Ben Farhat. His father prevented him from joining Tunisia in WC claiming it is still early for him. However , all sources say that he did so because he wants his son to play for Germany especially that he could move to BL this season which would boost his chances to be called up by first team if he impresses.

 

interesting didn't realize Farhat wants Germany. Because he ditched Germany so fast, I forgot about him, does seem likely to jump to 1BL soon as Frankfurt is very interested.

 

08 CB Palma extends with Serie A Udinese. He had a successful half a season loan to Serie B as well, hopefully full Serie A breakthrough next season.

On topic of 08 CB Palma, I think if kid breakthrough Serie A XI next season just up him to Germany U21.

I think CBs like Jeltsch, Coulibaly, Collins, Palma aint too bad for U21 call ups. If Gechter can get a 1BL transfer than he could be 5th CB option.

Thing is does anyone really think that the 04-05 CBs like
Pauli, Bakatukanda, Drexler, Blank, Quarshie are better than Palma......yeah nobody, LOL.

Not even sure what Di Salvo sees in Quarshie, I feel like its just the physical beast aspect but he cant even breakthrough Championship XI (only 11 XI last season and he got prefered over CBs who were playing all season, makes 0 sense) and hes nowhere near SNT call up either. Feels like a discount Rudiger too.

heck Pauli and Bakatukanda return to 1BL Koln after 2BL and Austrian 1st loans where they were in XI, so those 2 could play 1BL next season if they impress in preseason so higher level than Quarshie as well. 04 CB Dulic transferred to 1BL Hoffenheim this Summer too, so another candidate to breakthrough 1BL from 04-05s.

how would that CLOWN Di Salvo even justify continuing calling up Quarshie anyways....

another issue that clown Meister always screws duals and Palma was screwed over by him why lose such a talent to potential poaching because of stupid YNT coaches. This is good way to keep him on board, does anyone think the other candidate have higher ceiling. Like NONE of the ones mentioned would have brokenthrough 1BL-Serie A for realz level at 17 years old.

 

Palma should be considered for the U21. He already plays in Calcio so it could be hard for him to commit to Germany unless he is played 1 cycle up.

 

Seems that Aseko has been promised a prominent role at Frankfurt. Hopefully he can impress.

We could see a number of younger M's playing key roles at some of the bigger 1BL clubs, Bischof at Bayern, Ouedraogo at Leipzig, Eichorn at Leverkusen. Will also be interesting to see how much playing time Lenz and Engelns get at Hoffenheim, with EL football they should get chances.

But yeah when was last time we saw this MANY Ms playing in top German clubs.....the first 5 mentioned are basically ones that are highly rated. And then another one who TONS of clubs wanted and highly rated is Lenz who choose Hoffenheim who will play Europe next season, hes bound to end up in top club himself. I do like Kemlein potential too but feels like the others are rated better.

 

Wanna see more from Moerstedt this season, also hope Brunner does something at Monaco. He has the talent but last year was pretty much wasted.

we saw last season, how Brunner destroyed every U20 team for Germany. If he can apply that potential for club would be great to see.

ugh, why bother outside of CL footy, its a downgrade from 1BL. Why do so many players prefer 1st Abroad CL clubs over 1BL clubs, LOL.

I hope he gets left out by Di Salvo for U21, not that I ever thought he should be called up.

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes is in contact with Robert Andrich's management, according to BILD.

Leverkusen would not stand in Andrich's way if he sought a transfer, with the transfer fee is expected to be around €10million.

Frankfurt is still showing interest, however Andrich is keeping Eintracht waiting — because he wants to establish himself at Bayer.

He is going all out in training and acting as a leader in the dressing room, and appears motivated rather than inhibited.

The absolute priority amongst all of our talents is staying healthy, we keep seeing players getting injured at the worst time when they look to have 1st team chances. Even those that established themselves like Karl, Ouedraogo and Eichhorn managed to be out at crucial times, Karl missing what could have been a breakthrough WC.

 

Karl was a HUGE blow tbh. We saw his 3 caps for Germany SNT where he destroyed Ds with his dribbling and balls and was getting better and better with every cap. His last friendly pre-tourney was catapulting him to potential XI too, even getting his 1st assist too but then got injured....

that's type of player the SNT needed at WC26, more players who can unlock Ds. Thats why guys like Karl, El Mala, Gruda, Ouedraogo are needed more in SNT than U21. Heck Bischof is a very very very good FK, corner, crossing, long distance shooter too, thats another massive asset besides his ball playing skills.

these days, feels like loads of CBs have had injury issues, Gechter, Collins, Buchmann (DESTROYED by injuries), Fritschi (DESTROYED by injuries), Kiala (was on verge of making progress in Bayern 1st team only to get injured....).

 

After five years at Eintracht, Krösche has already achieved a lot. Nevertheless, he always thinks long-term for the club. Good thing is that Frankfurt II got promoted to RL this Summer. Was an issue when their revived II was in 5th division which is too far away from 1BL. RL is same as other 1BL clubs.

its clear as daylight that 2010 born Ilicevic is #1 candidate for integration at club. I mean this clown club lost Karl to stupidity. I don't think they want to make same blunder again, LMAO.

 

have to say its not mentioned enough about 2007 Age Group
-Got TRASHED to the moon pre-U17
-Got TRASHED even HARDER when they failed to qualify for U17 Euro 2024. I mean we BARELY failed and we were in same group as Croatia (we do loads of times struggle vs such a team) and Portugal (they ended up 2nd place in tourney).

we failed to qualify on a 1 GD, LMAO.
we blundered both games, allowing Croatia 2 PKs in a 3-3 D.....and then fumbling and allowing Portugal to take lead in span of 4 mins where they scored twice towards end of match. Its not like we got wrecked by anyone.

after this failure, everyone including DFB were like GARABGE age group, etc.

-fastforward and back to back U19 Euros were Germany U19 qualifies aka 06s and 07s. Prior last Age Group to make U19 Euro was 98, LOL. U19 Euro is hardest tourney to qualify only 7 spots if you ignore host nation. This tourney had half the rival teams DNQ.

and they ended up in 2nd place in tourney!!!!

-Not only 2nd place but this so called GARBAGE age group qualified Germany U20 to our first U20 WC since 2017, yeah our 1st U20 WC in 10 YEARS!!!!!!


reminds me of how EVERYONE EVERYONE trashed the 02-03 Age Groups for not panning out in U17-U19 like our results in U17 and U19 were atrocious for those age groups. And then U21 for 02-03s and Germany U21 was 2nd place, LOL. We beat Pengland (GS),Italy, France in tourney, trashed Spain pre-tourney friendly in March and then showed that we could have won it all vs Pengland in final. In any case the Pengland 02-03s were always more rated anyways.

people obsess too much about results anyways, focus on potential of players and career progress.

 

LOL, am I wrong but does this highlight reel mostly focus on Brunner, hes like all over it.
-Goal 1=typical CF goal, movement and finish
-Goal 2=dribbling past 2 players before smashing it

we also see his build up play, back against D, we see his movement, etc. From highlight a bit more luck or better service from teammates and he would have bagged like 4 goals. Some selfish moments from teammates when he was clearly open to tap in.

 

I got a chance to watch Werder Bremen's latest friendly match on Youtube, and I was surprised with Salim Musah. Not many people recognze this prospect but he is 1.98 Meters 20 years old either foot good technique and athleticism already scored in 1BL too. He may explode in Werder next season.

 

yeah hes very well seen at Bremen they plan on further integrating him next season from what was recently said by head honchos at club. With Fritz even indicating no loan next season.

-06 Asanji=1.98m tall, not very smart move to Milan. Needs to leave this Summer
-07 Gray=1.97m tall=signed pro contract at 1BL Union. Although given no II at Union, he likely needs a loan.
-07 Husser=1.96m tall=seen as 1st team prospect at 2BL H96
-08 Ringbeck=1.97m tall, seen as 1st team prospect at 1BL Paderborn.

I'm sure I'm forgetting others in that 1.96m-onwards tall, hard to remember all heights of players.

I believe in YNT 06s pecking order that Musah has overtaken Ramsak. Its now more focused on Brunner, Moerstedt, Musah in no specific order.

some will criticize Ramsak but reality we needed a faster player off the bench and he played his role well as we won double U17 trophies. There are uses for CFs besides everyone being big especially off the bench. Some players have their uses in YNT while one 100% sees no potential for long term. But as we moved up the YNT age group for 06s, he has basically lost his relevance and others are overtaking him. Im okay with that, Ramsak was THE player I was always sure would likely get poached, sooner or later from double trophy after Bence Dardai.

-does 1BL Bremen rate Musah more then they did Woltemade.
vs
-did they feel like they made mistake in loaning out Woltemade

I feel like Bremen seems more keen on integrating Musah then they did Woltemade. With Woltemade they made excuses tried to shove in lesser CFs over him, LOL. With Musah there seems to be more push for integration. My guess is they likely see more potential for complete package CF NOW not later like Woltemade. Younger Woltemade used to be criticized for not using his body better and headers. Although its clear after his 3rd Liga loan he improved immensely his heading game as we saw at Stuttgart, Newcastle and Germany SNT.

I didnt watch the match but heard he had 3 assists in it.

if you had to rate his potential prospects what would you say in terms of club career. Top 1BL clubs vs just below the top clubs or mid-club potential.

 

concerning 06-07 CFs and their U21 cycle at this point it does seem like
Brunner, Moerstedt, Musah, Stange

are looking like the most ahead of pecking order. These 4 are the ones who seem to breakingthrough 1BL level or ones who jumped relevant pros SUPER FAST.

other candidates listed below are from 2BL-3rd Liga ONLY. Currently ignoring ones in RL Only listing ones with pro contracts just to make list shorter than it needs to be.

-Ramsak=unknown future as hes currently with Leipzig but likely to leave. There is no II and they wont integrate him.
-Hobrech=recently signed pro contract at 2BL H96
-Asanji=currently at Milan, one would expect some loan or perm out soon enough
-Fass=currently on 3rd Liga loan after successful RL loan. Has 2BL Dynamo pro contract. LOL, gonna be forced to play every level at this point.
-Sachse=on 3rd Liga loan from 1BL Promoted S04. He started his loan in Winter this year, so 1 and half year loan. He needs breakout season if he wants better jump.
-Zeitler=has 1BL Hoff pro contract and looking to be in preseason but does get that W shaft a lot, so like 2 others listed he might not be CF long term.
-Husser=seen as 1st team prospect at 2BL H96 but looks like he recently gotten into shit with club and for now got dumped in II. The fact that H96 has signed 2 other players seems to be a - towards him. Could eventually be forced to leave, time will tell.
-Manthey=recently signed pro contract at 2BL Magdeburg
-Grey=has pro contract with 1BL Union but needs to leave as he cant play U19 anymore, so needs loan.
-Etcibasi=recently transferred to 2BL H96, some dont see him at CF but more at W, time will tell.
-Pick=signed pro contract at 2BL Bochum. Last season got praised highly in Winter camp but then got injured
-Izekor=currently in 3rd Liga for next season. Same issue at Etcibasi, loads of people dont see them as CF. Its usually, Germany has lovefest for big guys so anyone short more often then not will get that AM+W shaft.
-Fields=currently in 3rd Liga Hoff II, seems to be well liked but does he have what it takes to make 1BL jump. Will likely depend on how he does in 3rd Liga next season but with 3 competitions for Hoff, he could very well get chances.


is Fields going to be the 5th 06-07 CF to jump to high level NON-2BL-1st Abroad-3rd Liga. Does seem the #1 candidate rest are all like 2BL pro contracts which usually indicates start in II, likely to go on loan or in 3rd Liga.

thing is goal isnt to be in high level next season its to be high level in 2027-2028 season when the U21 cycle of 06-07 starts. One gets feeling that ones listed in 2nd list and ones in RL will likely still be in 2BL and lower come Summer 2027 unless they score like crazy next season.

still I think
Brunner, Moerstedt, Musah, Stange is a pretty strong CF lineup for 06-07 Cycle. If Fields joins or not time will tell. But you dont need more than 4-5 options, rest are basically pool options thats it.
