I was away over the weekend and didn't get a chance to watch, but unfortunately Spain proved a step too far. Did anyone get a chance to catch the game? From reports it seems the result was a fair one.

Still a positive tournament overall, I particularly liked what I saw from Catovic, Pedrosa, Culbreath and Stange.

Germany should have defended better for 2nd Spain goal from corner. However, they did very well in 2nd half especially and they had many chances to make a comeback but were unlucky sometimes and their players should have finished better.
I agree on players mentioned in addition to Onyeka . Some of these players should make it in BL soon.

Any news about Wael Mohya ? I read some news that he could chose Morocco. If true this would be really frustrating and wish he would end up as a flop.

Nelson Weiper on loan to Sturm Graz. Hope to see him score at least 10 to 15 goals to make a statement at this level of play

He stagnated a lot last season him and Moerstadt. I expected them to do much better. But probably Mainz form did not help him get many chances to score which affected his productivity. Hopefully now he can have a good season in Austria with better scoring stats.

    tbf,
-Weiper=after an early chance in XI for rest of season he basically only got scrap mins there was no real integration chances and he had past injury issues too. Also I watched loads of Mainz last season and yes they create almost NOTHING, so many matches he had 0 service from teammates.

I hope he bangs a lot of goals in Austria and gets transfer in better club than Mainz. Mainz isnt integrating anyone too they are just dumping players on loan.
-Moersetdt=he was playing his 1st real pro season and scored 5 goals that's pretty decent for 1st season and essentially a breakthrough 1BL season. Wouldn't say he stagnated at all more like between Lemperle, Asllani, etc had numerous players ahead. All indications that Asllani being sold so should move up ranking (hopefully).

    Good news,
    Weiper=club playing CL Qualifers
    Moerstedt=club playing EL

so both playing in Europe next season

at end of day, the potential and package is 100% there for both to be interesting CFs. They are still very young and hopefully both have a breakout season next season.

its interesting to see the German GK situation
    -1BL=04-Backhaus (Freiburg #1, Conference League), 05-Seimen (Stuttgart #1, CL)
-2BL=07-Hellstern (Furth on loan, indications that he'll be #1. Recently led Germany U19 to U19 Euro FINAL too)
-Championship=04-Weiss (Indications that he'll be Burnley #1 next season)
-Ligue 2=04-Hulsmann (moved this month to Ligue 2 from Austria 1st, indications that he's planned for #1)
-1st Abroad=05-Podlech (contender to be #1 on Norwegian 1st loan)

time will tell if we see more.

that's pretty good to see. I believe that NO COUNTRY in world has as many U21 #1s next season in top 4 league than Germany with 2 GKs and even better 2 out 2 playing Europe next season.

with Seimen playing CL as a 20 year old GK that is going to be fun. We haven't seen a GK that young in CL for Germany in long time. Hilarious that clowns Stuttgart who never integrate plan on integrating a GK of all positions, LOL.

-06 LB Hennig to 2BL Furth it seems. Disappointing tbh, how does one go from Austrian 1st to 2BL, not really an upgrade, just hope come Summer 2027 and hes in 1BL.

-07 LB Yanda to La Liga 2, when was last time we saw any German youth go to Spain...not a fan of these random loans, hopefully not a wasted transfer where he barely plays.

will be curious to see what clown BVB does with 06 LB Kabar he aint going to play 3rd Liga so either integrate him or sell him this Summer.

very very very good news, looks like 05 RB Baum is impressing massively in preseason at 1BL Frankfurt and all indications that the coach Adi Hutter is a HUGE fan of his.

Eintracht Frankfurt has effectively closed the door on a transfer for the time being. "Elias has power, he's got punch, he's got drive. That's why it doesn't surprise me that other clubs are also interested in him," explains Hütter.

also according to Bild, Frankfurt was planning on bringing over a RB from Ajax but due to Baum impressing Hutter so much they basically nixed the transfer. As of now Baum who has interest from 1BL Bremen and Augsburg seems unlikely to leave the club.

hopefully he has that 1BL breakthrough season.
    -2024-2025 season=on 2BL loan=officially considered best RB in ENTIRE 2BL
-2025-2026 season=back to 1BL with Frankfurt=numerous injuries+too many different coaches who constantly went for older players with 1BL experience. So never got a real chance last season.

we seem on track for 3 German U21 next season at 1BL Frankfurt.
04 CB Collins, 05 RB Baum and 05 M Aseko

if Baum can breakthrough 1BL Frankfurt next season, puts him in prime position to be first choice RB at U21 Euro 2027.

will players like 08 M Is and 10 A llicevic breakthrough 1st team next season....

I'm just hoping with Klopp coaching we'll have a coach that raids the U21 and lower. Like ******** the YNT, weaken the teams that 100% fine, LOL.

if Karl, El Mala, Ouedraogo, Gruda, Bischof etc never return to U21, fine by me, give a chance to other players.

dont do a Nagelsmann who is like no, they should play U21......who cares, we need a rebuild integrate the talents in SNT over U21.

some reports say that Klopp was perplexed that Ouedraogo and El Mala were left out by Nagelsmann, LOL. Of course Ouedraogo got called up after Karl got injured but not initially.

speaking of U19 Euro, RB Pinto Pedrosa and CF Stange were in UEFA XI of tourney.

its good to see more and RBs on the rise for Germany. Does seem like 04-onwards is where all the RB Talents are at. Hopefully we never ever see this BS of CBs playing at RB from Di Salvo, LMAO.

only matter of time until Pedrosa ends up in 1BL as he brokethrough 2BL this past season as well.

the German Pool of 0 CFs continues, I keep asking why are we at 0 and not negative at this point.:p

08 CF Eickel of 1BL Paderborn getting praise by coach.

Lasse Eickel used the SC Paderborn training camp to draw the attention of head coach Ralf Kettemann. According to a report by the Westfalen-Blatts when asked, the coach didn't actually want to highlight a single player, but in the end he made an exception for the 18-year-old homegrown player – and found clear words.

„From my point of view, there was now no player for whom I said that he was outstanding“, Kettemann initially explained, pointing out the overall high quality density and homogeneity of his squad. Finally, the 39-year-old emphasized Eickel: „If you take Lasse Eickel: from your own youth, scoring dangerous, marching, being fit, being a full machine –he already made an impression.“

Time spent in all test matches
The German junior national player was used in all three of the Bundesliga promoted team's test games during the training camp and was even allowed to stay on the pitch longer than planned against Fagiano Okayama. „That wasn't actually planned that long, but the boy just has an engine up his ass“, said Kettemann with a laugh.

However, the SCP coach wanted to leave it open whether Eickel's strong impressions were already reflected in a larger role for the professionals. „We’ll see about that“, explained Kettemann with a view to the further test games. You don't expect the young striker to be the one who will make us write history and guarantee us ten goals this season„. Nevertheless, Eickel is „someone who can defend himself and a machine“.

This means that the home plant has been recommended for further opportunities for use during summer preparation so far. The coming weeks should show whether these will ultimately be enough for a permanent place in the Bundesliga squad.

-04 RB Hagmann extends with 2BL AB.

-05 M Aseko of 1BL Frankfurt describes himself.
Aseko, who was born in Berlin, describes himself as a "street footballer" who comes from his football idea "Ngolo-Kanté-like": "I bring a lot of intensity, I'm brave with the ball and strong in duels against the ball", he explains. "I want the ball and win games. My pressing is neat, I can improve a bit on everything (...) something like that."

He is a guy who always wants to win - and of course wants to be on the pitch at any time. "But I also play for the team and with the team", clarified the six-man, who will now set off with his new team to the training camp at Lake Chiemsee on Thursday.

-on 05 GK Seimen, 1BL Stuttgart new #1.
“[Promoting him] was a bold move, both on his part and ours, but we’re doing this out of absolute conviction,” Hoeneß told Kicker. “We know that a Champions League season is demanding for such a young guy, but we’d already thought that through beforehand. I see the opportunity rather than the risk, and I believe he has what it takes to very quickly become an absolute top-tier goalkeeper in the Bundesliga.”

“He enjoys our full trust,” Stuttgart Board Member for Sport Fabian Wohlgemuth added. “The decision to put him in goal is based solely on performance. He’s special and we’re reaping the rewards sown by our youth department.“

We desperately need a rb because Kimmich is very average and slow at rb and we can't always rely on a fast average winger like Sane just to cover up for Kimmich defensively. Pedrosa was impressive in U19 but he needs to play BL then be a starter which might take time (Moreira was my favorite rb but he is not a starter either yet). On the other side, hopefully Kabar can play bigger role with BVB as lb though with Brown we got a very good lb.
What do you think about Wael Mohya snubbing Germany again? It seems we are not winning any duals recently from east european or arabic/Turkish region. We already lost Maza, Yildiz, Uzun, Pavic, Mohya. This is starting to be worrying and DFB or Fifa need to do something to stop this. Germany are producing and developing talents only for other countries to poach the moment they start playing in BL.

Not to forget some interesting strikers like Asllani who is on verge of moving to Leipzig or Matanovic who made a big season with Freiburg. We also have Pejcinovic( hopefully we keep him) who scored 7 goals for relegated Wolfsburg ( he should be moving to BL , otherwise he could end up winning top scorer in BL2 ).
Thanks God Undav ended up playing for Germany however he is 30 yrs so we won't benefit much from him after Euro 28.

I'm curious is 07-Culbreath at Bayer Leverkusen going to FULLY transition at RB or not. Seems like Bayer see him more at RB or RWB and used in those positions too. I always criticized him as a W too. I still recall getting TONS of shit on these boards for criticizing Bayern Davies at W and saying he wont play W at Bayern only for Bayern to transition him to LB, LOL. Are we seeing a similar shift here where a RW becomes a right fullback.

Between him and Baum that's looking like 2 RB players potentially in 1BL next season, which could be interesting to see.

then other talents like Eitschberger, Morgalla, von der Hitz, Bulut, Reich, Moreira (I expect a loan), Pedrosa, Koscierski, Burger etc are all breakingthrough 2BL-1st Abroad level.

LB is a position with not as much worry tbh, there are so many LBs emerging in 1BL-2BL level more than ever. 09-Lemke of 1BL HSV seems to be doing well in preseason and did well last season in RL as well. Whats interesting is that Brown is a player who came out of nowhere too, he went from being on nobody radar and exploded now at Bayern. I never even knew about him much until he brokethrough 2BL FCN 1st team. So always curious about surprise breakthroughs like that.

RP has denied Mohya to Morocco and have said no final decision has been made.

Pejcinovic has already admitted that he wants to play for Germany and if it doesnt work out for Germany hed go elsewhere. So for now we are safe there. I really hope that Tresoldi, Ansah, Pejcinovic, Weiper etc can pan out ASAP so we can perm cap and then not worry anymore about poaching.

Matanovic is example of he just wanted a SNT call up NOW NOW NOW. Asllani bailed because DFB ignored him for U21. I recall loads of people who were like who cares reaction because they weren't smart enough to focus on package+potential and obsessed at club names at the point in time they got poached, why act like that says anything about their future as at the time they were in 2BL-1st Abroad NOT in 3rd Liga and lower, LOL. Matanovic and Asllani ALWAYS had that CF package and skill set to pan out and both panned out in 1BL and both still very young, they are last U21 cycle players too. So yeah this is why I always say one needs patience with CFs, they dont need to be HUGE hits in teens-early 20s.

but there are benefits to upping players like Gruda, Karl and El Mala to SNT. It would allow us to up players like Mohya to U21 like that tweet suggest is possible. Same for players like Darvich, Onyeka, Krattenmacher etc as they play 1BL next season could be chances for call ups to U21 as well.
