Quedraogo also scored. Mohya assist . Bischof scored from Karl's assist. Hopefully Quedraogo and Bischof can make WC squad.
Great performance from Dennis Seimen for Paderborn in their 2-0 away win v Darmstadt to secure play off v Wolfsburg. He's had an impressive season. Mika Baur has also been a standout performer, expect both to be playing 1BL next season.
Paderborn playing with 10 germans in the starting lineup and with 5 german substitutes so almost 100% german team with very young average age. I don't mind if Seimen stays another season in Paderborn next season if they got promoted to BL though I think Stuttgart are planning for him to compete with Nübel.
Seimen confirmed as Stuttgart no.1 for next season. https://bulinews.com/stuttgart-confirm-new-first-choice-goalkeeper
Dortmund withdraw from the Kennet Eichhorn sweepstakes as they reportedly don't want to pay the current 20 mio asking price. However, Liverpool, Bayern and Leverkusen remain interested https://www.ligainsider.de/kennet-e...eld-bvb-steigt-aus-eichhorn-poker-aus-413936/
Also Bayern withdrew from the race to sign Eichhorn. Hopefully he doesn't end out playing abroad though he cannot play before he becomes 18 .
Said El Mala to Brentford looks close to completion. Transfer fee is said to be worth around 50 mio in total https://www.transfermarkt.de/-bild-...-nimmt-brentfords-angebot-an/view/news/480579
Köln accepted the offer but El Mala and his mother rejected brentford . So the deal collapsed. It seems they are waiting for the same offer from a better club to accept.
Think part of the issue with El Mala seems to be his brother would also have been part of the deal, but Brentford didn't want to sign him? For me I would prefer him to stay in the BL anyway, ideally at a CL club. Surely a club like Bayern or even Dortmund or Leipzig can see his potential. Bayern are eyeing a move for Köln U17 and Germany U16 centre-back Ben Nwachukwu (16) for the Campus. Nwachukwu is a left-footed centre-back, considered one of the biggest talents in Köln's academy - Observers find him reminiscent of Nico Schlotterbeck. He's under contract at Köln… pic.twitter.com/s12REj8688— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) June 4, 2026 For me it's better to stay at Köln and breakthrough there. Bayern already have CB talents like Kiala and Pavic etc and aren't likely to integrate many if any.
Squad for U19 Euro. https://x.com/Transfermarkt/status/2063953460320489693 Looks pretty good, I guess Coulibaly is absent due to being recently called up to U21? I'm glad Catovic seems to have chosen DFB. Interesting how we rarely up players, Eichorn could have easily been part of this tournament and likely would have been in a lot of other countries. That being said Swider & Lum are also interesting talents in that position.
Eichorn is moving to Leverkusen. Pretty good move imo, I expect him to get a lot of playing time which would not have been the case at Liverpool.
Smart move by him and great signing for leverkuson who need to be more german after wirtz and Tah left. Looking forward to watch leverkuson again and I am excited to the amount of talents Germany will have in the next Euro from Bischof to Quedraogo to Eichhorn.
Maurice Krattenmacher looks to be on his way to joining Elversberg in the top flight next season. Noah Darvich also heavily linked While Elias Baum wants to leave Frankfurt and is drawing interest from Buli clubs like HSV
Krattenmacher was always a strange move, was unlikely to make it at Bayern. There were better options for him at the time where he could have broken through 1BL faster. Good he can at least play there now. On that topic will be interesting to see what happens with Bayern's other 05 talents Aseko and Ibrahimovic. Both are attracting interest but could also be integrated into the first team squad, depending on which rumours you read.
Good move for all german talents to play in other BL teams. There's no point to all stack and sub at Bayern, I am tire seeing Frecnh kids starting in BL teams.
