Yeah hopefully Lenz can get a lot of playing time with Hoffenheim guaranteed to be playing in Europe, same with Engelns who has (slightly frustratingly) swapped regular 2BL minutes for regular 3.Liga minutes for Hoffenheim II since moving from Paderborn in January.

Tbf they do tend to be a pretty decent club when it comes to progressing players careers.

 

Yeah agreed, Darvich has been getting a lot of praise at Stuttgart II so hopefully he can make his first team breakthrough soon. Moreira should have stayed at St Pauli imo, moved too early. Odogu seems rated at Milan but tough to breakthrough. Was starting to get chances at Wolfsburg so again it feels like he moved too early.

Brunner is frustrating as we have seen the talent he has, maybe questionable character, but in any case he needs to be at a club where he can develop. Monaco was the wrong move. Will be interesting to see if he can get back on track next season, maybe a 2BL club might take a chance in him with a loan or something

Good news , hopefully he comes back to BL for more than 1 reason. He would be a starter for gladbach and would give us more options as rb where we are lacking decent rbs in Germany. Also this would be better to avoid any poaching from Turkey.

He looked very mature and decent in the few minutes he played in his CL debut. Hopefully he gets more minutes this weekend in BL with other youngsters like Osmani and Assomo. Unfortunately, Wisdom and Kiala are out , otherwise they could have played big part this season.

First official international for the 11 (U15) age group. My knowledge of the lower age groups isn't the best, but I know of one or two of the higher rated ones such as Isuf Hiseni, a huge talent who has already been in first team training with Bayern. Unfortunately they are coached by Meister.

 

10 CB Pavic, 09 AM/CF von Taube and 10 CF Assomo all make their first start in RL for Bayern II v Eichstatt. von Taube made his II debut as a sub last week. Interesting to see two 16 year olds and a just turned 17 year old all in the XI, exactly what II should be used for imo.

 

As bayern are out of the CL , I hope Kompany gives debut to some of these youngsters since they will have the motivation to impress unlike the first team players who have nothing more to play for except pokal.

El Mala getting constant EPL links, most recent Brentford, for me he needs to stay in the BL for a while longer. It didn't help Gruda moving too early.

 

Pretty sure he must be, I think the previous Hamburg record holder for the BL was Vagnoman and altogether Megeed.

VfB Stuttgart loses a homegrown in the summer, which was once considered a promising talent: Samuele Di Benedetto. The central midfielder will not extend his contract with the Swabians and will leave the Bundesliga team free of charge in the summer. The question is: Where is the professional born in Schwäbisch Gmünd? We explain what options Samuele Di Benedetto has now.

VfB Stuttgart: Samuele Di Benedetto leaves in the summer

He didn't really want to work out, the big breakthrough at VfB Stuttgart. Samuele Di Benedetto was considered a promising talent among the Swabians, was allowed to show himself in various summer training camps for the Bundesliga team of the Stuttgarters. But no matter whether the VfB coaches were called Pellegrino Matarazzo, Bruno Labbadia or Sebastian Hoeneß: The highly proposed midfielder could never really assert himself. The 20-year-old comes to a Bundesliga game: In the 5:2 home win against RB Leipzig on 27. In January 2024, Di Benedetto was replaced under Sebastian Hoeneß for six minutes.

But it was to be the only professional assignment of the footballer born in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Samuele Di Benedetto played for three years in the second team of VfB Stuttgart, was partly responsible for the promotion to the 3. League. But in the summer, an era of around seven years in the jersey with the red chest ring ends: The central midfielder, whose contract is signed on the 30th. June, is looking for a new challenge - and is a sought-after man in the transfer market.

Hannover 96 interested in Samuele Di Benedetto

According to information from our editorial staff, some clubs have an eye on Samuele Di Benedetto, including clubs from the 2. Bundesliga. According to this, Hannover 96 is interested in the 20-year-old. Lower Saxony is still fighting for promotion to the Bundesliga. A change within Europe cannot be ruled out either.

Where the highly-minded midfielder is really drawn to is still open. The only fact is: Samuele Di Benedetto says goodbye to Stuttgart to take the next step and mature both in football and personally. Two current VfB examples show how this can succeed: Dennis Seimen and Laurin Ulrich.

Dennis Seimen has been performing at top level at SC Paderborn throughout the season and could become the new number one at VfB Stuttgart in the summer. And after starting problems, Laurin Ulrich also shows more and more that he can be a good second division player with greater ambitions: The 21-year-old scored three goals for FC Magdeburg in the last five league games. The two former teammates in the U21 of VfB Stuttgart are so showing Samuele Di Benedetto how it can go. And the 20-year-old is willing to take on a new challenge in the summer - and also make a name for himself.

Stuttgart do sign a lot of German youth from other clubs but still a shame they do so little with their own academy players. 05 M Ulrich (on loan at Magdeburg) also is likely to leave. Hopefully at least 05 GK Seimen can still make it there, he has been a top performer on loan at Paderborn.

FCM player Ulrich hotly sought after: Now the Bundesliga is suddenly luring

Laurin Ulrich played at the 1. FC Magdeburg in the spotlight. At the regular club VfB Stuttgart, the U20 national player apparently has no future. Now even Bundesliga players are bringing new rumours into play.

Magdeburg/DUR – Laurin Ulrich missed this season at the 1. FC Magdeburg barely a minute of play. The talented offensive man came on loan from VfB Stuttgart in the summer, was initially under Markus Fiedler and later under Petrik Sander and Pascal Ibold. Finally, he also scored important goals for the FCM in the relegation battle.

In a few weeks, the current second division season will end. And thus also the loan business between the Stuttgarters, Ulrich and the 1. FCM. What happens next for a 21-year-old who has recommended himself for higher tasks in Magdeburg?

The name Laurin Ulrich recently appeared several times in the rumour mill. The 1. FC Magdeburg wants to keep the midfielder at Heinz-Krügel-Platz beyond the summer. But that won't be easy for the FCM. The competition is big and well-known.

Staying with the blue and whites depends on several factors. If the FCM is down, Ulrich cannot be stopped. One matchday before the end, however, a relegation is almost impossible due to the table situation.

If the club keeps the class, the loan agreement could be extended sooner. But it is then questionable whether Magdeburg has the best cards in courting the talent after a season in the relegation fight.

According to reports, five clubs from the 2. Bundesliga interested in the services of the Noch-Magdeburger. One of them is supposed to be the Karlsruher SC. The KSC played largely in the upper midfield this season. The city in Baden is located near the Swabian home of Ulrich. In addition, the club is considered a springboard for young players.

Ulrich in Stuttgart apparently without perspective - Wolfsburg's turn?

Somewhat surprisingly, the "Bild" reported that Ulrich should no longer have any prospects at his regular club VfB Stuttgart. There, the U20 national player is still under contract until 2026, but VfB wants to significantly reduce its large squad. And for Ulrich, the jump into a Champions League team would probably still be too big.

So the 21-year-old would possibly come on the market in the summer. In view of a rising market value of 2.5 million euros, Ulrich would certainly not be favourable, Magdeburg - or another club - would probably have to dig deep into their pockets.

Bundesliga team members already offer larger club funds. According to "Sky", two first league clubs are interested in Ulrich. Which ones are specifically, was not revealed. According to rumours, VfL Wolfsburg is a hot candidate, which is currently fighting for class retention as the third-last in the table.

But all this is still speculation. First of all, Ulrich wants to keep the class in the 2nd class with the FCM. Bundesliga perfect. It could also be an important step for his sporting future.

I wonder if Bayern isinterested. They have Diaz playing there and but he's 29, maybe 2-3 years left and they need more depth to support a long CL run. Downside is he won't get the playing time, which I believe is critical to developing young players.

 

I would actually like to see El Mala go there, like you say a succession plan for Diaz could be possible and in terms of playing time I think they would like to rotate more as they have overused a lot of their main starters this season ,

Unfortunately it seems more likely they'll pay over the odds for Gordon.

 

Well El Mala just scored against Bayern, maybe more to consider?
