Aséko-Nkili to inherit place from Goretzka from summer

FC Bayern Munich plans the return of loan player Noël Aséko-Nkili for the coming season. As the Abendzeitung München (AZ) reports, the 20-year-old is to return to Säbener Straße after his loan to Hannover 96.

Accordingly, Hanover is expected to withdraw the agreed purchase option in the amount of one million euros. At the same time, however, Bayern secured a redemption right of 2.4 million euros when the loan began in February 2025. This means that the Munich team would bring their own player back directly after the end of the loan and effectively invest around 1.4 million euros.

I see Frankfurt are the only BL club to make the UYL 1/8 finals, and have been drawn at home v Sporting. A few interesting talents that we've talked about in this thread, in particular 08 CF Staff and 08 M Is, plus 11 M Ilicevic (who is getting interest from a lot of top clubs around Europe).

As always the question with Frankfurt is will they integrate their own youth, they have done more with German talents signed from other clubs recently, and keep getting linked with more (most recently Eichhorn), but hopefully they are open to giving chances to their own youth as well.

Don't know much about him. Hopefully he is not good enough to represent Germany. We are losing many duals but the only ones we should regret losing so far and who could be starters for us are : yildiz, uzun, and Maza . Maybe Asllani and Matanovic look like good bench options for us.

 

Not to knock the kid or his decision to represent Iraq, but he likely already knows he's not going to be good enough to represent Germany at a senior/higher level in the future

This is one of the problems with Dortmund, a lot of their top rated talents right now are non Germans poached from clubs around the world. Let's hope we finally see a German talent break through from their youth again in the near future. I guess Kaba or Riedl have the best chance.

He was pretty good, didn't look out of place. You could see he's got good individual skills, likes to be inventive can carry the ball well, did well in 1 on 1's, drew a few fouls from the Union defence. Got a standing ovation when he was subbed. I think he could become a regular starter based on that.

Southampton's Caspar Jander is being linked with a return to Germany, with VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig and TSG Hoffenheim all said to be interested.

Having joined Southampton from 1. FC Nürnberg for a reported €12 million last summer, Caspar Jander is being linked with a return to Germany.

According to Sky Germany, TSG Hoffenheim have joined VfB Stuttgart and RB Leipzig in showing interest in the central midfielder.

Ajax have also been linked with a move for Jander, who would reportedly cost around €20-25 million.

So far, the 22-year-old has made 31 appearances for the English Championship side this season.

His contract with Southampton runs until the summer of 2028.
