-2BL FCK on the rise they went from 0 for ages which I've been shitting on them for ages to now on track for Golden Gen??? 05 LB Haas (who is linked with 1BL already) is the first one and next up is 09 M Hofmeister. Wonder who follows these 2???

    The development is progressing
Haas is just the beginning: Kaiserslautern's plan for the next golden generation

For many years, Kaiserslautern's own youth academy was neglected, but under Thomas Hengen's leadership, that has changed. The first successes include appearances by homegrown talents like Mika Haas. There is great hope that the 20-year-old will be followed by other youth players.
    https://www.kicker.de/haas-nur-der-...e-naechste-goldene-generation-1171199/artikel

    -on 06 M Lenz of 2BL Bochum

According to Sky, Eintracht Frankfurt is interested in signing Cajetan Lenz from VfL Bochum. The 19-year-old is on their shortlist as a potential reinforcement in defensive or central midfield for the summer transfer window.

Sky reports that talks have already taken place between Frankfurt and the player's representatives. Sporting director Markus Krösche is considered a strong supporter of Lenz. Within Frankfurt, there is a firm belief that the Bochum native will develop into a German international in the coming years.

Despite his young age, Lenz has established himself as a regular starter for VfL Bochum this season. His contract runs until 2029. A departure in the winter transfer window is out of the question, but a summer move is realistic. In addition to Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer 04 Leverkusen is also said to be showing strong interest.
    https://www.ligainsider.de/eintrach...tet-cajetan-lenz-und-ajax-talent-steur-405200

Krosche continues to show interest in building a German Block at Frankfurt. Just imagine they integrate players like 05 RB Baum, 08 M Is, 08 CF Staff etc too.

what's interesting is the UNDERLINED part.
I mean we got soooooo many next gen Ms that it will be VERY VERY VERY hard to breakthrough AKA SHIT TON of COMPETITION, LOL.

    I mean
    -Pavlovic=1BL Bayern, XI
-Bischof=1BL Bayern, breakingthrough XI MORE and MORE
    -Ouedraogo=1BL Leipzig, XI
-Eichhorn=2BL Hertha XI, ALL top clubs in Europe want him
-Watjen=2BL Bochum loan, XI. Will he play 1BL BVB next season?
-Kaba=RL XI, all reports that 1BL BVB rates him highly and supposedly have plans for him.
-Aseko=2BL XI on loan. Looks to have TONS of interest from 1BL-EPL.
-Lenz=2BL XI, linked with all the big clubs in 1BL minus Bayern
-Ulrich=2BL XI on loan. Him and 05 GK Seimen will likely be 1st Academy players to breakthrough 1BL Stuttgart in AGES.
-Is=II XI, one of Frankfurt Academy closest to 1st team
-Hofmeister=a 09 M on verge of 2BL XI breakthrough, LOL. 2 09 Ms breakingthrough so fast.

and bunch of others in 1BL-2BL like Kemlein, Tohumcu, etc not even listed too on this list, LOL. 2BL is full of Ms talents emerging too.

sooooooooon we shall way too many next gen Ms breakingthrough and way too many in top clubs too.

competition at M is crazy, biggest German wave of next gen M emerging in like 20 years, LOL.

Eichhorn himself is a funny one, media, coaching and himself they we've been talking about how he has the technical skills and should score more but so far tends to avoid doing so that it was a work in progress. I think for awhile was likely nerves and avoidance due to age and focus on other aspects.

now scores his 1st pro goal!!!!

Would actually be interesting to see Ouedraogo-Eichhorn midfield combo for Leipzig. Bayern move probably a bit too early.

yeah, Ouedraogo+Eichhorn in M pairing could be interesting too in terms of profile. Also Leipzig is reported to want Eichhorn directly for 1st team, no detours and seems like not as much snail pace integration. Bayern has too many Ms and he needs to go somewhere where he could jump to XI very fast.

Gonna be interesting to see what happens to the Ulrich, Aseko, Watjen, Lenz, Eichhorn etc in Summer. Loads of future movement!!!

what I'm curious about is whether clubs like Bayern, Frankfurt, Leipzig, BVB seem headed for 2 German M pairings??? LOL, would be hilarious if it happens.

if Eichhorn goes to Leipzig then Bayern and Leipzig already looking like a go in that regard. And BVB and Frankfurt wouldn't be far off if Lenz, Is, Watjen, Kaba make pro progress/jumps.

so that means in DFB Cup vs 1BL Augsburg and 1BL Stuttgart he impressed in 2/2 matches!!!

thing is BVB is OBSESSED with reputation if they can't even integrate a Watjen after a hit 2BL loan, then their Academy work continues to tank.

their dev/sell of foreign youth not panning out. These days feels like NOBODY makes the 1st team anymore, neither German nor their beloved non-Germans either. How long until Campbell, Mane etc get sold/dumped on loan. So much for that.

meanwhile at BVB, LMAO. He's reported to potentially go on loan in Winter too, they spent like $30+M on him and he can't even breakthrough regular XI, LULZ.

After being linked to Füllkrug , now Frankfurt are looking for Max Moerstadt who is yet to start any match for Hoffenheim with all strikers they have. The move won't be bad for Max since Frankfurt don't have many good strikers ( Batshayi and Wahi look average and Burkardt won't be back before end of Jan).

at this point him and Karl will push for SNT call ups, LOL.

good news, Gruda is back from injury and playing at Brighton was recently robbed a goal too. And Wanner has brokenthrough PSV XI and currently playing his 1st CL XI and 3rd back to back XI.

so we got replacement for them in U21.

the reports are that Batshuayi, Wahi, Ngankam have no future at club and that Moerstedt is transfer for potential Summer not Winter.

I can understand, I mean Batshuayi and Wahi were never great and Ngankam is always injured and not Frankfurt level. Frankfurt are dumb that they thought Wahi had Ekitike potential, LMAO.

funny since ex sporting director Bobic used to bitch NON-STOP about
"Where the ******** are the big/physical German CFs?"

LOL, with Moerstedt you get that but not a classical CF he does have skills. He needs to go to whoever has best plan for him.

issue is sure he doesn't XI with Hoffenheim but ALL indications that neither Lemperle nor Asllani will stick around beyond this season and he is a regular in matchday squad too.

its more issue that he has 2027 contract so if he doesn't extend in Summer, he'll be sold.

I'm curious to see are 1BL Wolfsburg finally integrating Academy players???
recently 07 RB Buger and 07 M Hensel have BOTH played 2 1BL caps.
while 07 CB Neininger made bench unused too.

Hensel has 0 DFB Caps and Burger has been ignored by DFB since U17 days for 07s.

Hensel well we already got a HUGE M pool ALL emerging in 1BL-2BL too. Burger even got a whopping play entire 2nd half over weekend. How long until we see his 1st 1BL XI???

damn is there a reason why 07 RBs making FASTEST pro progress at RB from any age group??? They are still U19 eligible players too.
    -07=Burger (1BL), Pedrosa (2BL), Koscierski (2BL)

but as I keep mentioning the RB Pool of 06+07, looking like a BIG Pool of Options, like biggest yet. And best part they still have until Summer 2027 to fully emerge or for MORE to breakthrough.

LOL, recently saw emergence of 2 06 Ms called Muller.

-2BL Dynamo, 06 DM/CB Friedrich Muller who has now played 3 back to back XIs for Dynamo and playing at CB in 3 man CB. Time will tell what will be his future position whether DM or CB.
-2BL FCK, 06 M Erick Muller made his 2BL/pro debut over weekend as a 1 min sub. So guess after 05 LB Haas and 09 M Hofmeister that Muller will likely be the 3rd Academy player to emerge from FCK after like 0 Academy players in past 10 years.

sad to see how more and more 06 Ms are breakingthrough before the Osawe, Harchaoui, Ruger etc.

05 LB Becker's first ever pro goal over weekend for 2BL S04. Was also in kicker 2BL XI too.

crazy how he went for what feels like 2-3 years injured to impressing in preseason and jumping to 2BL XI in Summer 2025. That was a fast jump, was not expecting it after his constant injury issues.

now whether 2BL S04 gets 1BL promotion or transfer, 1BL looks likely for next season.

speaking of always injured players who spent 2-3 years injured.

05 M Raebiger played XI over the weekend for 2BL EB!!!

here's hoping he doesn't end up on loan in Winter and has a breakthrough in 2nd half of season. Its a shame how his career has progressed.

lets hope he manages to turn the tide into breakthrough.

-speaking of destroyed by injuries, 05 CB Fritschi and 05 CB Buchmann continue to be MIA. Imagine your CB pairing at U17 Euro for 05s have both been destroyed by injuries. Reminds me of Kempf+Stark but difference is that these 2 were destroyed by injuries as PROS not in that yet to breakthrough phase......

-Germany U17 Draw for Elite Round
    Germany, France, Slovenia, North Macedonia

remember these A-Holes at UEFA SHRUNK this tourney to ONLY 8 teams....so ONLY Group Winners qualify for U17 Euro. On +, 2nd place teams can at LEAST qualify for U17 WC.....

the 2024 version was last at 16 teams.......

-Germany U19 Draw for Elite Round
    Germany, Austria, Greece, Sweden

Yikes, that's one TOUGH group and again, ONLY 8 teams......so ONLY Group winners qualify for U19 Euro.

-04 RB Morgalla wants to play 1BL next season. Looks like he demanded that the purchase option to his loan club 2BL Bochum is only applicable if Bochum gets promoted. Hopefully him and 05 RB Baum are both in 1BL next season so that we finally have some 1BL RB options!!!
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/vfl-bochum-leandro-morgalla-nicht-zu-halten

-07 CB Schmetgens signs pro contract with 1BL Bremen. Would be crazy if we see in future a 1BL Bremen CB Pairing of Schmetgens+Coulibaly in XI together. So far we have 1/2.

Yeah both tough draws, incoming doomsday if both fail to qualify lol.

Would be nice to see Schmetgens follow Coulibaly into the first team, he has the potential. Quite a few interesting youth at Bremen.

Tbh it's looking tougher to see either Fritschi or Buchmann reaching their potential, they have both missed so much development time. Let's hope both can still make it as pros, but one or both could have been U21 starters at this point without so many issues.

I mean the 08 got TONS of shit for GS Exit even though we were in Group of Death at U17 Euro and we barely qualified as we barely scrapped a W vs Spain to even qualify. But yeah people will scream doomsday and ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the talents are TRASH if we fail to qualify. :ROFLMAO:

like there is a HUGE inability to judge the potential and talents of players and people only care about results. The 02-03 were BOTH TRASH in U17-U19 and they made U21 Euro FINAL, LULZ.

crazy to think for 09s U17
-Netherlands, Pengland=FLOPPED in R1 Qualifiers and are OUT
    -Germany, France=Same Group=ONLY 1 will qualify
    -Italy, Portugal=Same Group=ONLY 1 will qualify

from 6 top countries, only 2/6 will qualify for U17 Euro. Spain has no real issues to qualify.

I find these draws are getting ridiculous, always feels like you have 7 groups and big countries still end up in same group. What a waste, I feel more and more U17 and U19 is just propping up smaller countries.......

Bremen has numerous 07s they rate highly and unlike Bayer who claim they too have numerous very promising 07s, they are actually making moves towards integrating those talents. Coulibaly making 1BL XI at his age at a club like Bremen who has screwed Academy youth for ages is great to see. Hopefully we get that 2 07 CB Pairing XI sooooooooooooooon.

at this point, its impossible not to write them off from ever making SNT. Yeah if both had played and dev in those 3+ years of injury they likely would already be in 1BL by now. Now they will be forced to lag in 2BL-3rd Liga-RL level for awhile and thus only fit towards a late bloomer mold.
While this happens loads of promising CBs from 04-onwards are breakingthrough 1BL-2BL and some 3rd Liga as well and have all moved ahead of them. Some already at top clubs and numerous others seem destined for top clubs too, which makes even more likely that U21-SNT is very unlikely. But like you said hopefully they make it at some point to 1BL even if not SNT.

according to kicker, Swiss want to poach 06 M Lenz....here we go never ending try to poach every German dual, LOL.

so far Lenz himself wants to play DFB and chose Germany U20 over Swiss U21 call up.

would be dumb to bail anytime soon, the kid will for sure get a Germany U21 call up next cycle of 06-07s.

but even then if he ends up at Bayer or Frankfurt next season and breakthrough XI, SNT call isn't out of question either.

reality any and ALL Ms who breakthrough the top 1BL clubs are 100% pouncing on SNT call up.
Pavlovic, Bischof, Ouedraogo got that SNT call up very young from top club breakthrough.

Eichhorn, Watjen, Aseko, Lenz, Ulrich, Kaba, Is etc pouncing on the top club jump like next season, LOL.

would be funny if he gets poached since reports say that Frankfurt sees Lenz making Germany SNT, LOL.

speaking of Ouedraogo and Eichhorn interesting seeing Bayern fans say what we've said in here.

    that paraphrasing,
for footy and dev would be VERY interesting to see Ouedraogo+Eichhorn M duo at 1BL Leipzig that would be interesting in terms of how they compliment each other but that in their greed they don't care they WANT Eichhorn at Bayern, LMAO.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

what's interesting is that reports have stated that Leipzig is pushing HARD to get him and indications that they plan to integrate him, even at his age.

but yeah, best option for NT is IF ALL the top German clubs all get their own 2-3 German YOUNG Ms. I do feel like its not impossible and we do seem drifting towards that too as way too many next Gen German Ms are making waves and attracting interest from big clubs. Or hit loans in 2BL super fast for others.

but yeah if clubs like Bayern, BVB, Leipzig, Bayer, Frankfurt, Stuttgart etc go towards next gen German Ms, could be crazy to see as we've never seen this before, even like 20+ years ago when the Khedira, Kroos, Gundo, Rudy (GOAT M), etc emerged.

the funny thing about 20 years ago the M pool was limited tbh. It was basically the 1st 3 and Basti who started in Attack but drifted later into M. Was basically a quality pool at M of 4 players that's it and with Gundo always injured basically more towards 3, LOL.

with next gen German Ms, we seem already in that DOUBLE DIGITS, LULZ.

I don't comment on UEFA YL much these days because its mostly irrelevant. But some interesting things that happened.

-Bayer U19 progressed to knockout stages. The U19 coach is super happy as he sees it as good for dev.................is that before or after NOBODY makes the 1st team, LMAO.

-Koln U19 progressed to knockout stages. Will Koln continue to block their own Academy players and 0 integration which will open door for continuing mass OUT.

-10 AM Ilicevic scored yesterday for Frankfurt in 4-3 L vs Barca. Has to be one of youngest ever scorer, he only recently turned 15 y/o. Don't forget he was the Player who played Summer preseason with Frankfurt 1st team at 14 y/o and scored on his debut but then club got TONS of shit for allowing an underage player to play with 1st team. Do wonder if we'll see a Karl rise in him at Frankfurt once he turns 16 y/o. At 14 y/o and more recently 15 y/o he's playing U19.

-now a 11 W Mohamadou scores in YL for BVB, LOL.

Get on the hype train, this one is real.
Hamzath Mohamadou needed only 11 minutes to score today in the UEFA Youth League, a competition designed for U19 players.

And do you know how old he is? Fourteen years old. Born in 2011.
Just a week ago, he won the Best Player award at the famous MTU Cup, a tournament that has featured top talents like Jamal Musiala, Xavi Simons, Alejandro Balde, and many more.
A historic moment for a truly fantastic talent.

    concerning UEFA YL, looks like
BVB, Bayer, Frankfurt, Koln (Champions Path) all made Knockout Stages.

Only Bayern went OUT early......that's because Bayern has way too many players eligible who are skipping this thing and either with 1st team or II team.

but honestly, its exciting to see the HUGE turnaround for Germany when it comes to AM/W positions (and so many other positions, very exciting!!!). Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many promising players in those positions from 04-onwards with some 02-03s as well.

Gonna be exciting to see where the future lies and who from the lot end up in SNT, poached or just part of pool of options.

OVER is the era of not much being produced there. Like ENTIRE 90s born+00-01 produced almost nothing there......

and turnaround in numerous positions should also turn the tide in Germany's future too. As there is potential for something great if one looks at players by positions for future.
