See what happens when you can actually shoot from distance. DFB coaches take note lol.

Other then Bischof and Karl I thought Komur was very good.

with the W we now move in 2nd place in table behind Greece. Last month we got screwed with mass out of D and even then we should have beaten Greece.

the crucial month will be March where we shall faceoff vs 1st place and 3rd place aka our main competitors in group.

yeah we really lacked for a LONG Time, still do the long distance shooters. Feels like Ozil and Podolski are the more rare ones.

also Bischof at M>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kimmich at M

sometimes those chances end up the only chance one might get but when nobody can shoot them.....WASTE.

I could see Nagelsmann leave them in U21 in order to secure the 2/2 Ws. He might not want to gamble the U21 cycle.

once we dispatch them in March, then it would open door for SNT Call up.

I mean Muller back in WC10 didn't have much SNT caps prior to tourney too.

Bischof for sure, should already be there imo.

Karl I can imagine Nagelsmann making all kinds of excuses about him being too young blah blah blah and calling up Sane or even Draxler instead.

Leipzig coach Ole Werner on 04 LB Finkgrafe. How long until we get our 4 04-05 LB playing 1BL!!
"This isn't an easy situation for him. Nevertheless, I'm convinced that Max will become important," Werner recently told BILD.

Both the coach and the RB Leipzig management, including sporting director Marcel Schäfer (41), see great potential in Finkgräfe.

Werner emphasizes: "We are completely convinced of him. He's developing step by step in training. Max is simply a good lad and footballer, and we are consciously pursuing a long-term plan with him. That's why I'm very satisfied at the moment."

    sorry......not sorry,
Draxler is a BAZILLION times better than Karl. Karl is like 2% Draxler, sad but true.

Sane with his trillion goals in Turkey is also more deserving. Forget the future, the present is what matters!!!!!

some interesting dev in U17 WC
-Argentina is OUT, LMAO good riddance
-USA is OUT, losing in both U17 WC and U20 WC to same country Morocco, LOL.

what's funny about USA is that their best players Albert and Cavan are 2/2 American-Germans from the USA, not poached. Just funny that their best players are German descent.

-Brazil barely beat Paraguay in shootout.

ugh looking like U17 WC goes 90 min and then directly PK Shootout.....that's dumb. So could very well happen to us too.

TODAY, 8 matches played in R32=50% ENDED UP AS PK SHOOTOUT........

-France needed a 90+4 min to score a 2nd vs Colombia in their 2-0 W. Its interesting as they were in our group and we dominated that whole match but failed to win it.

lets hope we advance to R16 tomorrow, although who knows what will happen.

"It was a lot of fun today in this great atmosphere," said striker Nicolo Tresoldi after the match. "We shot on goal a lot; we really should score more goals. We need to do better in that area. It's incredible what Karl and Bischof are doing; they both have unbelievable quality, and it's simply a joy to play with them."

forgot to mention that Germany U19 lost 2-1 to USA in friendly.
2/2 USA goals were scored by poached by USA Dills a German dev player, LOL.

I only watched like 15 mins before turning it off.
garbage match due to garbage field, the players were slipping, majority of the passes failed to reach the intended player due to slowing down on the field, LOL.

only saw one of the 2 goals conceded and its a freebie from Germany. GK shot straight at a USA player which led to their goal.

and the German U19 coach basically said same thing.
"In this state of the pitch, the game shouldn't even have started," complained Wörns. "We practically gifted the opponent both goals with mistakes in our build-up play, and we weren't clinical enough in attack. Ultimately, those were the decisive factors today."

honestly who cares about U19 this month. Only thing that matters is March Elite Round. LOADS of past age groups won 3/3 friendlies in November just to fail to qualify for U19 Euro come March. Friendlies are pointless, when you have 3 matches in 1 week, its all about grinding out results.

"It went perfectly. U21 debut, two goals, a very good performance from the team, a good performance from me," said the 17-year-old Karl after the 6-0 (2-0) victory against Malta in Fürth, Franconia, on Sat.1.

For years, players from the German record champions were a rarity in the DFB's most important youth team – not a single Munich player was included in the squad during the three title wins in 2009, 2017, and 2021. Now, however, two Bayern players are making their mark on the team.

Karl, in particular, was beaming. "It's just fun to play with this team. I dared to do a lot, and everything clicked," said the student, who had to take an exam at the DFB headquarters in Herzogenaurach on Thursday. "I think I got a 2 or 1 in English. Then everything works out on the pitch, too," said the young star.

After his goals in the 37th and 67th minutes, Karl is now the second-youngest goalscorer and also the third-youngest player in German U21 history – both lists are topped by Youssoufa Moukoko.

"I'm delighted that Lennart played so well right from the start and was able to reward himself with goals," said coach Antonio Di Salvo. "It was a very good debut. But he's a young lad who still has a lot to learn."

nice goal from Faso but as usual nobody even bothers to close down the opponent.

why do so many of these UXX teams never close down players at D???

LOL just found out that Meister is a graduate from Spanish footy. He studied Escuela Universitaria de Real Madrid, is that why DFB likes him even though he's a terrible coach.

this team looks more likely to lose.

feels like not really getting much traction towards scoring.

    HT down 1-0.
we dominated most of the match but seem nowhere near scoring.

I honestly don't really care if U17 lose.
I know this isn't even the best possible squad an I'm 100% opportunistic.

if we get eliminated, then I don't have to watch anymore, LOL. Save time to do other things.

what exactly are we losing anyways? Who cares about U17 level. The only UXX that matters is U21 as its closest to SNT but even that has its limits to relevance.

I would even argue than NONE of the UXX even matter. What matters is the quality and potential of players over youth trophies. Youth Trophies in NT is no different than youth club trophies, nobody cares besides DFB and the clubs. What really matters is how many will make SNT jump and how many will make 1st team jumps.

I think U21 is good to gain International experience and have next gen players play together beyond that.....eh. I mean current U21, one can see numerous SNT prospects.

I always laugh at how DFB and some people will act like entire age groups will make SNT in future. When reality very few make the SNT jump.........and even less make a perm jump to SNT not a few caps and never again.

looks like reports saying that El Mala was "planned" to be dumped to U21 but left a + impression on Nagelsmann.

so El Mala will be an option for U21 next match. What a waste of time, LOL.

its funny seeing comments like at least he got downgraded to the better team, LULZ.

As usual struggling v African team, we are ok in possession so we could get back into this, but yeah agree it's not a massive deal to go out.

Felt the 06 team under Wuck was more fun to watch, Meister you can see the Spanish influence lol.

Faso are not even trying tbh, all they are doing is bus parking+counters, LOL. They went to low intensity once they got their early 1-0.

Wuck is the only good YNT coach we've had in recent times, his teams always go far and he tended to qualify too.

Wuck build a REAL Germany team, everything one wants to see in his Germany was there from mentality to style.

Meister.................LOL, can this guy just get the axe? Or will DFB be like 08=trash age groups and throw all the players under the bus in order to avoid shitting on the coach.

a weird one, we were mediocre all tourney but Faso didn't do shit all match either. Just a 1 real chance where the D didn't even bother to close in the attacker who then shot for no chance for GK to save. Its somewhat a shame that that's all it took to eliminate us, LOL.

issue is that Germany has been mediocre all tourney long and dominate without much penetration in attack and very static once we get to final 3rd. I feel like I'm watching SNT style, LULZ.

    seems to be trend, LOL.
-Your Flick, Nagelsmann, Meister types=play in a very ineffective and wasteful manner that never gets the best out of the players. Is it the Spanish style? A style that stiffens attacks and seems more fixated with passing ball with no real purpose.
-Your Wuck (past, as he's no longer coach), Di Salvo (from March 2025-onwards for him. Although still work in progress can be even better)=seem to be playing in a manner that one associates Germany with and that is actually effective allround.

Looked a bit like boys against men. Oh wait.. Seriously it's either Burkina Faso super strong or these guys are just 2-3 years older.

    LOL
-Definitely stick with Marc Patrick Meister! It's going so well and football is so much fun!
-Throughout the entire tournament, the team's play, especially offensively, was very poor. With the players you have, you need to be much better.
    -Finally, kick Marc Meister out!
-Now finally knock out Meister, but you'll probably extend their contracts and promote him too.

much more than this nothing but fire Meister reactions.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
