nice combination play from 05 CF Weiper for 1BL Mainz vs Serie A Fiorentina in build up to 1-1. streamain.com/en/aTFKM87xAp3S1YW/watch only watched the 1st half, but Weiper had a great header chance but he centered it too much. Should have scored in that chance. I feel like Weiper almost always close to scoring but has yet to really untie the knot. Reminds me of Woltemade during Year 1 of 2 of last U21 cycle where it took him awhile to untie the knot and then from last season-onwards he's been on a scoring run. The full complete package is there for Weiper from a CF POV too.
on topic of 04 CF Tresoldi, I know that Milan is his dream club but its a bad idea. He should go to a 1BL club where he has a chance to be 1st choice in top 4 league and if that goes well THEN go to Milan if you want. There is 0 reason to rush these things. and speaking of Weiper almost scored winner in 90+4 for Mainz and then Mainz scores winner 2-1 comeback in 90+5. Wish he scored that winning goal. So far he's shown himself in 3/3 European club footy games this season scoring 2 goals in 3 games and having involvement in 3/3 Ws too.
Mainz are doing well so far in Europe unlike in BL though Fiorentina are the bottom team in Calcio this season. I think Weiper needs to find a better club to show his potential. Wish Stuttgart can push again for him in summer or Freiburg or köln because these teams need strikers.
Stuttgart is best option tbh. I fear that clubs like Koln+Freiburg have similar consistency as Mainz tbh. One season they do well then another they do badly. if I had to choose Stuttgart, then Freiburg then Koln Stuttgart when they aren't badly run tend to be just outside the top German clubs. I think such a step is right one as next step. he'll at least play for a more consistent club and a club that creates more. Mainz tooooo many games barely create anything and more often then not the CF is isolated too. Its funny because as a whole one can see the potential of the team to be mid-table but they always end up towards bottom half. The potential of the team is rarely fufilled. Woltemade is similar path tbh -Bremen is mostly meh club similar to Mainz in a LOT of ways, LOL. Check for Weiper too. -showed potential but wasn't a scoring machine. Check for Weiper too, although Weiper has shown to be more productive than younger Woltemade too. -got picked up by Stuttgart and he exploded super fast. Will Weiper get picked up by Stuttgart who wanted him in Summer???
speaking of 1BL Stuttgart we got an update on Summer transfer 06 AM/W Darvich. currently at 3 goals and 1 assist in 6 games for 3rd Liga Stuttgart II. VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß (43) is convinced: “Noah will make his way. It's invaluable for him to gain a lot of match practice in the 3rd division. This league is no walk in the park; you have to prove yourself there. We see a lot of potential in him.” can't wait for him to breakthrough 1BL Stuttgart. Hopefully alongside 04 AM/W Diehl if he can stay fit too. Stuttgart can have loads of fun with 06 CB Jeltsch, 04 AM/W Diehl and 06 AM/W Darvich. Then next season shall see return from loan of 05 GK Seimen who is expected to be #1 as well as 05 M Ulrich. And suddenly loads of youth would be playing at that club. Imagine a 05 CF Weiper also joins the club!!!!! honestly AM/W keeps looking interesting in terms of breakthrough. Imagine this season having players like Darvich,El Mala, Onyeka, Karl, Wisdom, Mensah, Mohya etc all emerging!!!! If Diehl can stay fit and have a breakthrough post Winter break too!!!!
LMAO, we should call it Meisterclass!!!! not a few dozen mins, 08 CB Palma has played 225 mins this season for a Serie A club. as I mentioned recently, Thank God, that Palma persisted with DFB as he went Germany U18 Call up for November instead of U17 WC. I'm glad that he resisted any potential urge to bail from Germany as I mentioned, U17 WC=last time he has to deal with Meister, from U18-onwards=new coach. yeah Palma got axed by the coach for BOTH U17 EC+U17 WC. Imagine the CB from ALL 08s who has the most career progress and who's on track to breakthrough in XI and for a position like CB too. more comedy, recently Meister claimed that he called up the BEST POSSIBLE SQUAD for U17 WC................................LULZXINFINITY, who actually believes this farce??? No the U17 Squad isn't the best possible squad. not only me who thinks that either, I have seen 0 people even thinking this is best 08s, LOL. Not a single person, even the knowledgeable on the youth one saw them list TONS of missing players when the squad was announced. "There are also absurd situations that sound like soap operas. Matteo Palma, a defender for Udinese who has gotten only a few dozen minutes in Serie A this season from coach Runjaicia, was not called up for the European Under-17 Championships. Why? A quarrel with the coach. The same one who did not value Yildiz, Uzun, and Maza. He was initially called up, so he asked the coach what role he envisioned for him. He was given number #15, which suggested to him a role as a substitute. The coach's response - substitute, unlikely to get off the bench. The preliminary call-up was rejected, and he did not go to the tournament."
LOL, German footy at its best!!!!! LMAO this is NOT the first time Dutch Scouts shit on German way of doing things. Funny part is that Dutch scout from a few years ago (a different person tbc) he shat on how he sees LOADS of talents in Germany but that DFB is obsessive fixated on big/physical over talent and potential and that 08s were full of talents but we've seen Meister screw over plenty of 08s, LMAO. This is same person that posted about Palma but thought Palma deserved his own post. yeah we here were "bitching" nonstop about why is Karl playing in U17=its a waste of time and Bayern was SUPER RELUCTANT to even up him to U19. They only did it after half a year because U17 was a joke for him and then he got upped to U19 which was also a joke for him, LULZ. Goes back to that obsessive fixation of U17 to LAST SECOND, U19 to LAST SECOND. And also fixation on AGE GROUPS. "SCOUTING REALITIES What connects Can Uzun and Kenan Yıldız? They weren't even called up to Germany's U15. They were considered too weak. Now they play for Turkey. About this and the specifics of junior football, based on my experiences. To organize what I will be describing: As part of my work, I handle youth scouting for a large club from the Netherlands, which assigns us this job. Thanks to this, I myself watched videos of players like Assan Ouédraogo before he became popular through Football Manager. An exemplary young footballer should: play in an older age group in his club and regularly play for his national team. And what do you say to this, that... it's sometimes impossible? Does the best one always play? In short: no. I know that one of the first thoughts that will likely come up with the first post in this thread will be: maybe they were weaker at that moment. Based on my experiences, I'll answer without mincing words: no, they weren't. The DFB ignored players like Ibrahim Maza, currently a player for Leverkusen and the Algerian national team. He was only called up to the German national team at the U18 level. I still know Saida El Mala from the times when he had just gotten his first minutes in the German 3rd league, because one of our scouts had heard good things about him from a friend. So believe me - if someone stands out in any way, those words quickly reach even me, let alone the DFB coaches. There are also absurd situations that sound like soap operas. The preliminary call-up was rejected, and he did not go to the tournament. To this, let's add other aspects of youth team policies, for example in Germany. Lennart Karl, that is, the youngest goalscorer in Bayern's history in the Champions League, was a very recognizable footballer among observers of German youth football. 2 years ago, Germany's biggest talent from the 2008 age group was playing in… his own age group. Not because he wasn't good enough, nor even because of physical conditions. He was playing there because in the U19, in his position, there was a footballer Jussef Nasrawe (2007). Jussef is a different scale of talent compared to Lennart. He also isn't tall, but above all, he is less dynamic than his younger teammate. Bayern preferred to slow down the pace instead of speeding it up, maintaining order by age groups and not forcing one or the other to sit on the bench. In other clubs, it varies. Jan-Luca Riedl (2009), defender of Borussia Dortmund, about whom I am almost certain that we will hear more in the coming years, often played with players 3 years older. Despite this, in junior national teams, he never played with an older age group. It's worth noting here: German national teams are COMPLETELY subordinated to the players' year of birth, excluding U21. While England had Max Dowman in U17, playing with players one and a half years older than him, Germany stuck to their rules."
LOL, he's wrong about U21. " It's worth noting here: German national teams are COMPLETELY subordinated to the players' year of birth, excluding U21." Germany U21 works like this. Take 04-05 cycle -we call up players from their cycle so 04-05s, this will be like 90+% of the call ups. -we AVOID upping players from 06-07s aka next U21 cycle UNLESS its IMPOSSIBLE to ignore them and in General DFB ONLY calls up the OLDER Age Group so in this case 06s. So players like El Mala, Ouedraogo, Jeltsch who brokethrough 1BL XI are the ones who got upped early this cyle. -08-onwards, you know DFB DOESN'T want to up anyone there, LOL. I've seen LOADS of fans clamoring for 09 M Eichhorn in U21 but DFB refuses "he should play with his own age group in U17" I'm sure they made him captain to also force him staying, LOL. What happens next season if he plays for a top 1BL club???? What then??? take Karl for example, from last week from MEDIA. "Curious: U21 national coach Antonio di Salvo is still hesitant to nominate him." even back in October call ups for U21, Di Salvo REJECTED Karl call up. Now last week after his impressive October run at Bayern he calls him up. so Di Salvo went from NO for October call ups-----to HESITANT last Week for November call ups----to CALL UP this Week for November call ups LMAO. Conclusion=DFB legit HATES upping players from any age group outside of their cycle. They will do EVERYTHING possible to avoid it. I still recall saying in here that Ouedraogo should have been called up in September but Di Salvo didn't want to call him up. Like what's point of focusing on Ms who are lesser than him anyways? Then come October his hands got tied because Ouedraogo is doing way to well, so was forced to do so.
LOL, -saw a comment that likened 09 M Eichhorn to Busquets -then non German media describing him as "Baby Zubimendi" -then from wiki, "Zubimendi's versatile style of play draws comparisons to renowned players, notably Sergio Busquets." but on a serious note, what slander is this. I don't want to see any German youth likened to Spanish players.

0-0 HT vs North Korea very eh game with too much bus parking. Would be hilarious if we fail to get out of GS, although even 3rd place teams can make R32.
VINCENT KOMPANY ON THE SIZE OF THE SQUAD: "It feels like the squad has got a bit bigger because Lennart Karl has developed so well. He's shown that he can already have an impact."
now El Salvador and Colombia 0-0 FT. which means if we win this game we top the group!!! Germany had another 2 chances to score too. Need to get a 2nd and seal the match.
LOL just like Colombia game, they score from outside the box for 1-1. and once again poor attempt by German D to close the shot.
1-1 FT another messy disjointed game!!!! come on DFB renew Meister until 2030!!!!! Germany under Meister really looks like Low+Flick's 2018-2022, LMAO.
looks like our GK Pool keeps increasing -1BL=04-Backhaus (#1) -EPL=04-Weiss (Bench GK with 2 XIs this season) -2BL=05-Seimen (#1, on loan), 05-Prufrock (NEW ENTRY) -1st Abroad=04-Hulsmann (#1) Prufrock with 3 back to back XIs for 2BL Furth as he's displaced the Dutch Boevink. His back to back XIs are 1 DFB Cup+2 2BL games. Its uncertain if he'll be the #1 long term because there is topic of 06-Schlieck who is back from injury but not yet ready. Believe timeline is Schlieck will be contender for #1 post International break. Either way if Prufrock or Schlieck would be a German youngster. Talent wise, Schlieck>>>>>Prufrock too. -3rd Liga=05-Wechsel (Polish 2nd #1 loan), 07-Hellstern (#1)
concerning Germany U17, I think one of the main issues is that there really is a lack of creativity on the squad that Meister called up. This leads to a more static Germany with basically 0 creativity and an overall wasteful style of play to boot. I think from the Meister call ups, they were too reliant on Karl for creativity but once he stopped playing with this age group so ended the creativity of the team. and then if one looks at Germany U21 squad, we look to be missing the more fast wingers so players like Diehl, El Mala, Gruda etc. Only such player is Kade it seems but for me, I feel like he shouldn't make the squad if all options were accessible. Its not a deal breaker because the 2 teams aka Malta+Georgia we are playing are more likely to park the bus. But we need such players later on next year in March.
2 German 05s give 2BL FCN 2-1 lead. 05 M Lubach scoring his 3rd of season for the 1-0 lead. https://streamin.me/v/04a6cb3e 05 RB Janisch scoring his 1st of season for the 2-1 lead. https://streamin.me/v/12211fd1
1BL -04 CF Topp in XI for his 1st XI of season for Bremen. Bremen with 3 youth in XI alongside 04 GK Backhaus and 07 CB Coulubaly. LOL Topp benching Boniface!!!! -07 M Hensel makes his 1BL/pro bench debut for Wolfsburg too. 2BL -05 GK Prufrock with his 1st clean sheet of season in 1-0 W. -05 CF Scobel made his 2BL/pro debut as 3 min sub!!!!
full of what Bayern said about Karl. Bayern's sporting director Christoph Freund (48) says: “First and foremost, we are all very happy that Lenny has been nominated for the U21 team. He is only 17 years old and therefore still very young, but he has earned his appearances. He has repeatedly shown on the pitch that he is very mature and very advanced for his age. We are very happy that he is there and will hopefully play, that's the most important thing.” Kompany also raves: “From a feeling perspective, the squad has of course grown a bit bigger, because, for example, Lennart Karl's development has gone very well. At the beginning, probably none of the journalists or experts thought that he would become a player who could have an impact. He quickly showed that he is reliable when we need him.” BVB should be embarrassed. 2 Bayern players, 1 Leipzig, 1 Frankfurt in U21 squad but 0 from BVB. And unless we see a Kaba or Watjen (next season for him) doesn't seem likely to be anyone from the club unless they get someone from transfer.
Is it the right step for Lennart Karl to be called up to the U21 national team? Freund: "I do think he deserves it. Nothing was handed to him on a silver platter. He earned his playing time, has consistently proven that he can compete at this level, he gives his all in every training session and every match. We've also been in contact with the DFB, and I think it's a good step, even though he's still very young." How do you assess the quality of Said El Mala, whom FC Bayern have on their radar? Freund: "I don't want to talk too much about other players, but he's doing really well, he's got great pace. He's developing really well. I also think he can contribute something to the German national team. Julian will have thought this call-up through carefully." Were you surprised that Tom Bischof wasn't called up by Julian Nagelsmann? Freund: "He certainly has the quality for the senior national team, he's back with the U21s now, is captain there, and will get plenty of playing time. We're extremely happy he's here. Even back in the summer, when he joined us, we were really convinced he had Bayern Munich potential, and he's showing it now. He's doing really well, even playing at left-back sometimes. Simply a really good footballer. That's why he fits in so well with this team; he plays very aggressively, although his main strength is with the ball. I'm convinced he'll make his way, including in the German national team, because I'm convinced he'll also establish himself at Bayern."
on topic of U21 squad we don't have much non-1BL players these days, LOL. Who's non-1BL? 5 players that is it? Damn, when was last time almost entire squad is 1BL players??? -Seimen=2BL #1 on loan, headed towards 1BL Stuttgart #1 next season -Quarshie=Championship, can't comment on him since its a dumb transfer and I don't pay attention to Penglish footy, LOL. -Morgalla=2BL loan, he ain't staying at this level come Summer. Its question mark over RB Salzburg or 1BL next. I'm hoping its 1BL next. We need MORE RBs at 1BL level. If him and Baum can breakthrough 1BL that would get us really going at RB. -Aseko=2BL loan, all indications that 1BL will happen next season as he has a hit loan -Tresoldi=Belgian 1st, all indications that he's headed to 1BL-Serie A come Summer #fact Morgalla+Aseko if not for injury proness in past, would ALREADY be in 1BL level. Tresoldi had 1BL offers in Summer but he rejected them because he wanted a CL club where he can play XI every game. Seimen, well Stuttgart are a bunch of A-Holes, LOL. one thing I don't like about squad is this. is Di Salvo really playing the dumbass again and calling up Rothe as a CB....cringe. he called up 3 LBs=Rothe, Ullrich, Zehnter 3 CBs=Collins, Jeltsch, Quarshie 1 RB=Morgalla its clear as daylight he called up 3 LBs because he's calling up Rothe as the 4th CB....ugh. No squad ever has 3 CBs, its usually MIN 4. Rothe is a 3 man CB he's not meant for 2 pair CB. always hilarious how there is always a NONSENSICAL Aspect about DFB calls ups from YNT-SNT, LULZ. how temporary is this BS? Well DFB twitter indicated that Gruda, Blank, Gechter are out to injury/fitness issues. And that's 2/3 CBs from that. I would say Gechter is the one that we need for a call up in March. He's better than Blank and actually headed to 1BL soon enough unlike Blank. I also don't think that Quarshie is headed to EPL anytime soon.
Coulibaly should have been nominated for U21, clearly more talented than Quarshie, Blank and also Gechter and playing on a higher level regularly. Plus a good sign for him because Ivory Coast wants him. DFB and its age group fixation, dont get it
