LOL, at least he finally admitted it.

DFB.de: You mention problems, what exactly were they?
Di Salvo: We had extreme personnel shortages in defense. We were out six defenders before and during the training camp (Jeltsch, Gechter, Quarshie, Collins, Baum, Pauli), which led to changes, especially at right center-back and right full-back, and we had to field players in positions that weren't ours. In the team's current phase of development, this is difficult to compensate for. I would like to emphasize that this has nothing to do with a lack of trust in the nominated players; rather, it's about constant adjustments and a lack of coordination, in addition to the position changes. We have to give the players this time and consider that we can't completely address this in the few training sessions we've had.

high these days, we can't even keep any German-Turks anymore.

I believe that Demirbay-Can were the last German-Turks Germany SNT. Which is what 10 years ago? LOL.

issue is that Turkey is poaching lighting speed the German-Turks. Where already in U17 level and they poach almost all the talents, LOL.

we 100% lost Yildiz+Uzun to DFB STUPIDITY.

so far from 04-06 what's left anyways
Damar, Komur, Tohumcu, Kabadayi, Bulut, maybe I'm missing some others.

and Turkey already trying hard to poach Damar+Komur with the Turkish SNT coach trying to lure them with WC ticket.

I always loathe the whole every ********ing asshat country wants to poach every Germany U21 dual.

    does Meister hate German-Turks???

we lost Yildiz+Uzun under him. Komur only started to get called up in U18-onwards so post Meister.

no Guner no Hertha's LB Unal who plays RL and close to breakingthrough 2BL XI. Like how is Unal even left out???

Is from Frankfurt is the ONLY German-Turk who he even calls up.....how much of that is due to his pro progress from Frankfurt 1st team.

we all know that he doesn't even like Mike Wisdom, LOL. Only once the kid started to make waves at Bayern and get close to breakthrough that he was FORCED to call him up.

there was talk that he headed butts with Palma too and Gattuso talking about how Palma is a player he's watching.

this is a coach who is really bad as a coach and really horrendous with dual topic.

-looks like next returnee is 04 LB Finkgrafe of 1BL Leipzig.
"Max trained with the team for the first time today. But that probably won't be a factor in the squad yet."

This puts Finkgräfe on the right track to return, even if a weekend appearance is still too soon. If his progress continues positively in the coming days, the youngster could become an option for the matchday squad again in the near future.

-04 GK Backhaus who is 1BL Bremen #1 is back in team training. The coach will decide close the matchday whether its too early to play him or not.

more proof that Fritz Walter aren't too meaningful and remainder that they are NOT about best players for an age group. Other Factors also factor into it.

well giving Staff a medal means less likely he bails anytime soon. And continues trend of CFs getting rewarded.

    next gen CFs with medal
Moukoko, Weiper, Pejcinovic, Brunner, Moerstedt, Staff

LOL, I know I forget somebody. From the German-Turk list from yesterday, I forgot 2 players who are both injured and who now both have updates.

-06 CB Dal is FINALLY back after 5 months injured. Looks like he's back in solo training and could be back playing in a few weeks.
-06 AM/W Yalcinkaya looks to be a 2BL-1st Abroad-3rd Liga loan candidate for Winter Transfer.

yes he's German-American, LOL. The USA and USA fans are very keen on poaching him. But for now he keeps playing with Germany and he's provisionally capped too. One would expect that the medal would spur him to continue on this route.

never forget that troll poster claimed that Sargent was better CF than every German dev CF. Is that why USA poaches or tries to poach every single Euro-American Euro dev CF???

and yes the MAJOR issue with CFs that Germany has is that almost every player is a dual, LOL. Its impossible to perm cap everyone and everyone single one of them as the other nationality keen on poaching.....

for Staff, we already know that Frankfurt rates him highly. Wonder how long before USA starts to push for SNT call up. USA like LOADS of other countries have very low standards for SNT call up. At this point, I've seen it all, players in U19, RL, 3rd Liga, 2BL-1st Abroad all getting SNT call ups by other countries in order to poach. Nothing Germany can do, we ONLY call up top 4 league players.

looks like 04 AM/W Marie of 2BL EB and 04 AM/W Baur of 2BL Paderborn are now 04 M Marie and 04 M Baur, LOL. Looking like both are now M players over attacking. One reason why this happens is things like not very productive in attack. Baur seemed very ineffective in A like no finishing, even when he was in 3rd Liga he didn't have much finishing either. And Marie was a limited producer in attack in terms of G/A too. Other reasons are things like new coach moves them down or due to injuries to others they get moved out.

Marie with a goal and assist as EB leads 2-0 vs H96.

08 AM/W Mohya who got left out of Germany U17 WC squad now makes his 1BL Bench debut as he's on bench for Gladbach's match.

its really interesting to see so many 08s getting left out. Looking like U17 WC is a B-squad tbh.

LMAO, what a retard. Yes your as dumb as ******** as one can be.

I've been saying for AGES like as far back as like 4 years ago that I don't believe that Moukoko will be SNT relevant.

why? because from next gen CFs, too many have packages that DFB likes better. And that at BEST he'll be a bench SNT CF IF HE DOES WELL but even that WAS QUESTIONABLE due to the next gen Pool of CFs that is emerging who have more potential.

And I said that INSPITE of Moukoko getting WC22 call up by Flick at the time. And INSPITE of DFB+Media acting like Moukoko was going to be the future Germany #9. Just like how DFB+Media act like Atubolu is 100% the next Germany #1 and I have massive doubts about that too.

not sure why your singlely me out when EVERYONE in German footy was propping up Moukoko to the moon.

this clown is legit a retard, who equates me refusing to write off players as me propping them up, LOL. Hoping he has a good career means nothing. I can hope that Copado has a good career. Oh no troll poster will think I think Copado is GONNA be HUGE, LMAO.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

what's next if I make a list of CF pool, does that mean I think all of them will have HUGE careers? LMAO.

this is a HUGE idiot who always gets triggered when people bring up players he hates in a youth thread where they are eligible to play for YNT.

this is why troll poster was ALWAYS a waste of space when he posted on bigsoccer. Because he always equated people talking, bringing up someone=you think highly of them, LOL. Like 99% of players we bring up here will NEVER make SNT whether injuries, poaching, not good enough etc.

1973438744670974395 is not a valid tweet id

this is the retard who was writing off Woltemade as complete and utter shit player. Who was shitting on Tresoldi but now DEMANDS he gets SNT call up. Who SHAT on Burkardt for AGES as a SHIT player and how Sargent and every other 00 CF in Europe are better. Now wants 3/3 in SNT, LMAO.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

more funny he claimed for years and years and years and years that Woltemade, Tresoldi and Burkardt that NONE of them are CFs but now sees them as CFs.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

you've exposed yourself as a SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE Judge of CFs. Every single person who reads this thread as seen you exposed over and over and over.

I didn't even have him on my radar as one close to 1st teams because I wasn't paying too much attention to 2BL KSC these days.

its funny because they are integrating more youth then in past too.

speaking of troll poster he was raging mad when USA poached Downs who can only muster 1 assist in 300 mins in Championship this season. He legit saw Downs as a HUGE talent too, LOL.

my claim about Downs was always that his ceiling is MAX midtable 1BL level CF, nothing amazing, decent overall that's it. My annoyance about losing Downs is more to do with having HUGE disdain for any and all poaching. Whether I think they are good enough or not, I loathe poaching.

he wants to shit on Moukoko but ALL the players he propped up the moon ALWAYS tend to do badly or even worse than the players he shits on, LMAO.

Moukoko also barely played last season basically last season was no different than a player who was basically injured all season. He went to Danish 1st because he's admitted that he has to start from scratch after barely playing. Will he manage to salvage his career? Time will tell, dev is NEVER linear.

troll poster is in love with writing off player ASAP. I've always said people who have 0 patience towards youth players SHOULD NEVER be talking about youth players. If you have a lovefest with shitting and writing off young players you have 0 business in this thread, LOL.

    07 AM/W Onyeka on 2BL Bochum loan.
1979636907111055488 is not a valid tweet id

nice to see, he also scored the winner today in an important 3-2 W for a struggling Bochum who are relegation candidates. And his 1st goal was a solo run too.

I've mentioned early during season, that with 2BL Bochum struggling that getting good stats like G/A was not gonna be easy and it could force for MORE loaning.

but with him bagging his 1st 2 pro goals, hopefully he kickstarts a good run for rest of season so that we can FINALLY next season see a 1BL Bayer Academy player breakthrough that ass club.

I'm hoping that 06 W Ruprecht who is also on 2BL Bochum loan can manage to breakthrough but so far he's only been 2/2 games as sub. So if things continue, he might be forced to end up on reloan somewhere next season.

Onyeka has been XI for almost every game and was close a lot in past to score, he finally broke that deadlock.

I barely pay attention to U17-U19 these days but anyone feel like the region separation that DFB did was pretty HORRENDEOUS????

I see LOADS of players who when it was still
3 regions of Sud/Sudwest, West, Nord/Nordost who struggled to score but once they separated the country in like 10+ regions are scoring like crazy due to their table having weaker opponents. This "new" arrangement started last season too.

so the main purpose of this 10+ separation is basically to allow for less pressure on coaches who will then be more free to play without worrying about results. And so be more pro-dribbling, creativity etc but it also makes everything look weaker.

the separation has also killed any momentum in terms of hype for any youth, LOL. When it was constrained to only 3 regions, it was easier to windown the players but with this new setup it feels like there is 0 hype or propping up anywhere, LOL, due to weaker groups.

in anycase for me, I prefer focusing on MIN RL level aka adult footy.

Yeah, you’re totally right to point that out — the new regional split in the U17/U19 Nachwuchsligen has been one of the most controversial parts of the DFB’s reform.

The main reason behind it was actually not sporting — it was pedagogical. The DFB wanted to take pressure off youth coaches and players, reduce the obsession with results, and encourage more risk-taking, dribbling, and creativity. Under the old system (3 strong regions — Süd/Südwest, West, Nord/Nordost), too many NLZs were fighting relegation all season. That killed development because coaches played safe, went long ball, and prioritized physique over skill.

So, the idea behind the 10+ regional separation was:

Make the level a bit more even, so even mid-level NLZs can focus on player development rather than points.

Give coaches freedom to experiment, play technically smaller players, rotate, and emphasize training outcomes instead of results.

Then later, the top teams qualify into a national playoff where the real competitive edge returns.

In theory, it makes sense. But in practice, you’re also right — it has side effects:

The first half of the season is often too easy for top clubs like Bayern, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Leverkusen etc.

Stats get inflated — strikers suddenly have 15–20 goals by Christmas because they face weaker defenses.

The scouting visibility dropped — before, everyone knew who dominated the West or Süd; now, it’s spread out and harder to compare.

There’s less hype and narrative around elite talents because the competition looks diluted.

Honestly, the ideal solution is probably something like the new U16-Nachwuchs-Cup West:
Only NLZ vs NLZ, no amateur sides, and matches that are genuinely competitive week to week.
That’s the only way you can develop players for professional level — playing the best against the best, not against random regional gaps.

So yeah — the idea behind the DFB reform (less pressure, more development) is solid, but they still need to find the balance between educational purpose and elite challenge. Without that, we risk raising technically better players who are under-challenged competitively before hitting U19.

The best future model would be:

    > Regional development leagues for foundation — and elite U16/U17 “Pro Academies League” where only top NLZs battle each other.

That’s when we’ll really see both things click: technical quality and elite mentality.
