3-2 Röhl !!! FT France next. That was close. They need to get into next gear again, soon.

Best players for Germany: Reitz, Woltemade, Röhl, Brown
The rest rather meh but all of them showed heart. I just hope this game just didn't cost too much energy. They should have won in 90.

Phew, these guys are going to give me a heart attack… but Di Salvo again—why didn’t he bring on Wannee earlier, or Jander for Martel? There was just not enough creativity in midfield. But of course, what am I saying—Di Salvo, the master of crosses…

Anyway, congratulations on reaching the semifinal! Much respect to the Italians—you can really see why they’re our greatest rivals in football. Let’s hope for another clash with France, we rise in our game.

Big relief to get through, Italy made it tough and fought very well. Great finish from Rohl, nice someone actually had a shot, we spent a lot of the time passing sideways around the box and hitting aimless crosses v 9 men.

Btw Weiper's volleyed goal from Woltemade's flick was world class. Very encouraging to see our talented CF's making an impact.

It was a lot closer than it should have been. I was a little disappointed with the attacking effort in OT. They just seemed to stroll into the Italian half , without any urgency allowing the Italians to set up their defence. With 2 men up they could have tried more fast break counters.

Dont think remaining teams will be tough as the Italians. Very well organized. I reckon we will beat the french.

Crazy end to the Euro U19 SF v Spain, we were leading 2-1 after Moerstedt + El Mala goals concede twice in injury time and then scored a 98th min equaliser after their GK missed a long free kick into the box and their defender scored an og. Now going to extra time.

We have a ton of injuries so good effort to keep going and take this the distance.

These guys are heroes. Despite all the injuries and a coach without real tactics, they almost pulled it off. In the end, it was the lack of stamina that made the difference. Still, I’m pretty sure that if we had all our players, we’d be champions. This group will bring us titles — that mentality is pure gold.

Yeah, that was really tough. The team looked physically exhausted and to keep coming back was impressive. What I really didn't like is we keep giving up last minute goals. We seem to be getting a reputation for this at all levels. More focus on defensive play is needed.

reality our 06s are the best 06s in Europe, not even debatable.

-we didn't have 3/4 of our main XI at D
CB Odogu, CB Jeltsch, RB Moreira

-then add that Wurm, Herwerth, Decker have NEVER EVER played together in XI prior to tourney aka we were playing with a D playing together for 1st ever time for this tourney, LOL aka makeshift back 4.

not a slight against these 3 CBs nor against Bulut but the missing players are better. Although Bulut gets high praise, I've always felt that Moreira's package is more suited for International footy.

-I called it when it was announced no Odogu, no Jeltsch, no Moreira=Disaster for the D and that this was gonna KILL our tourney.

    just look at this nonsense
    Game 1=3 goals conceded
    Game 2=5 goals conceded
    Game 3=1 goal conceded
    Game 4=6 goals conceded

That's 15 goals conceded in 4 games, WOW that is DREADFUL, LOL.

    3.75 GA per game........

shame for only one reason, had we won U19 Euro, the 06s could have been the 1st ever for any Euro country to win U17 Euro, U17 WC, and U19 Euro too.

have to say that Weiper goal yesterday was class!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
that is stuff you love to see, great Woltemade header and fantastic Weiper finisher, really should have been the winner. Embarrassing stuff that 9 men Italy scored, LOL. If U21 fail to win its likely due to D which is something we've critized here all cycle. The D talent is good but there is always unfortunate moments that ruin things.

so does anyone still think Germany has no CFs emerging, LMAO.

we've seen players like Woltemade aka leading scorer of U21 Euro and on track to win Golden Boot. Weiper eligible for next U21 cycle, scoring vs Pengland+Italy and those are his 1st U21 goals and then also Tresoldi as well. Then add Moerstedt bagging hat trick vs Spain today and one of leading scorers of U19 Euro as well. And tons more too......

-"Moerstedt, Weiper, Staff, Pejcinovic, Topp, Woltemade. Germany will be very strong team in the next few years"

-"Moerstedt, Woltemade, Weiper, Tresoldi and Keke Topp are already five strikers who have brutal potential to become Germany's new number 9."

-"Moerstedt, Nick Woltemade, Weiper, Keke Topp, Jonathan Burkardt
Some of them will feature the next level 9"

-"Right now it's Woltemade, Tresoldi and Weiper
Start of the next U21 cycle, could be Tresoldi, Weiper and Moerstedt?"

-"The 04,05,06 generations are stacked I think the next U21 team might be very strong, they would need more experience though."

-"Max Moerstedt has been impressive, Germany finally has a good bunch of Strikers coming through with Woltemade, Lemperle, Tresoldi, Weiper, Moerstedt..."

-"Safe to say Germany’s future #9 spot is looking very competitive.
Another big man (6’4”/194cm) up top, Max Moerstedt, stepping up with a hat-trick vs Spain’s U19’s. His timing of runs, finishing, aerial ability, ball control and channel running are some of his standout traits."

-"2 of Germany’s 1.9m+ forwards combining as Woltemade flicks on Röhl’s cross to Weiper."

-"Germany are just spawning 1.9m forwards by the way. They have a long, long list coming through."

-"After maybe a decade or so focusing on producing more nimble/mobile strikers, the big ones are finally coming back. Woltemade, Weiper, Moerstedt, Ansah... hopefully one of them kicks off at an elite level.

Thing is, they are built big but have the modern style. Smash channels in behind, comfortable in wider areas. Then have all the usual benefits when in central areas around the box."

never forget that troll poster claimed that
-DFB is disgrace for calling up Woltemade to U21...........now leading scorer of U21 Euro, LMAO. If he wins U21 Euro Golden Boot would be his 2nd Golden Boot this season after DFB Cup top scorer too.
-that Germany has like 500 Million short CFs and like 2 1.9+m ones, LMAO.

Bonus that Woltemade was complete and utter shit player that was never gonna pan out too.:ROFLMAO:

-WUT, 04 GK Weiss #1 of 2BL KSC might transfer to EPL Burnley.....why???
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/ksc-abgang-von-max-weiss-offenbar-perfekt/

-there we go, after 07 RB Koscierski signed pro contract with 2BL Bochum now 07 LB Keumo also signs pro contract. Could be 1st time we see same club where a RB and LB emerge too!!!!

-according to kicker, looks like 05 AM/W Raimund from Stuttgart might move to 2BL FD while 05 M Ulrich also from Stuttgart looks headed to 2BL Magdeburg. So much for this clown club integrating anyone, LOL.
    https://www.kicker.de/duesseldorf-ruft-raimund-vor-vfb-abschied-1127335/artikel

-looks like 05 RB Muller from Freiburg II moving to 2BL Paderborn!!! More and more RBs in relevant pro footy!!!!
    https://www.scp07.de/Newsarchiv/Technisch-versiert-1.html

-BIG News, 06 GK Schlieck is moving to 2BL Furth on loan with buying option and buy back. From the press release and even reports, sounds like he could legit become #1 next season too. Would be the 3rd back to back youth GK #1 at Furth too.

between 04-Weiss, 04-Backhaus, 05-Seimen, 06-Schlieck looks like we are gonna have some #1s in relevant pros next season from 04-onwards.

crazy to think that 06 GK Schlieck was the Germany 06 #1 GK for U17 Euro qualifiers prior to long term injury.

due to injury he missed U17 Euro and U17 WC.

in turn to this, DFB ignores him and continues to focus on the same GKs that won the double trophy in Heide, Schmitt, Babatz........nothing new but DFB bias of always calling up same players.

the irony is that Schlieck has more pro experience then the 3 and is headed towards becoming relevant pro footy aka min 2BL #1 potentially next season.

a player ignored by DFB having better progress than the 3/3 called up to U19 Euro.......

our pool of 0 CFs continues to grow, LOL.

06 CF Fass moves to 2BL Dynamo........interesting instead of going to 3rd Liga Promoted Hoffenheim II..he's better off. Another almost 1.9m tall too.

    Marlon Faß joins Dynamo
    Sports club secures young talent
The sports club has signed Marlon Faß from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The 19-year-old striker is moving from Sinsheim's U19 team to Dresden and is expected to take the next steps in his development at SGD.

Thomas Brendel, Managing Director of Sport at SGD: "With Marlon, we have acquired a highly talented talent. Together with our scouting department, we have been monitoring his development for some time and are convinced that he will be able to repay the trust in us in the coming years. With his athleticism and movement, he already brings very good attributes. These must now be further developed in the men's division and thus master the transition from junior football."

"The discussions with the management were very good and gave me a great feeling from the start that I could pursue the right path for myself here. Dynamo is a fantastic club with great appeal. My goal is to be able to play in front of the fans in the future and to be successful together," says Marlon Faß.

Marlon Faß was born on May 16, 2006, in Landau in der Pfalz. The 1.89-meter-tall striker took his first steps in football at FSV Offenbach. Via the Karlsruher SC junior team, Faß moved to the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim youth academy in 2021. Last season, he scored 18 goals and assisted three more in 23 matches for TSG's U19 team in the group stage and main round of the DFB youth league. In the UEFA Youth League, he scored one goal and provided three assists in six matches.

    some other transfers
-05 GK Wechsel goes from 3rd Liga H96 II to Polish 2nd loan....................he's a German-Pole, LOL. How long until poached?? Will be curious to see what happens with 04-onwards GKs and how many transfer in Summer.

-FINALLY for frick sake, 04 CB Seifert bails from 2BL HSV........should have bailed ages ago moving to 2BL Elversberg. One of those players that always with 1st team training/friendlies and always pushed to extend just to never play. Really hate the bailing on free aka wasting whole year in RL just for that......at least now he jumps to relevant pro footy next season.

-04 CB Blank who was always injured at RB Salzburg goes on 2BL H96 loan.....if not for his injury proness should already be in 1BL level......

-shocking nobody, but 06 M Watjen going on 2BL Bochum loan.....LOL BVB integrating any German Academy youth.....

-04 LB Duhring of 3rd Liga Ingolstadt looks headed towards 2BL KSC transfer. Another of the ex BVB 04 players making relevant pro jump.
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/ksc-niclas-duehring-vom-fc-ingolstadt-im-anflug/

-04 LB Zehnter of 2BL Paderborn could be headed back to his original club of 1BL Augsburg who dumped out and where he established himself from day 1 in 2BL after Winter 2024 transfer.....
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/sc-paderborn-benjamin-weber-und-aaron-zehnter-im-doppelpack-nach-augsburg/

-05 AM/W Ibrahimovic of 1BL Bayern has some decisions to make. 1BL Heidenheim is interested and so is his old club 2BL FCN who are also coached by his ex Bayern coach Klose.

2BL FCN confirm that 06 M Osawe will do preaseason now that U19 Euro campaign over but likely will have a break before he joins the 1st team.

they also confirm that 07 LB Porstner, 07 CF Chiumento, 08 CF Kusanovic (poached), 05 CF Scobel are all involved in 1st team training that has restarted. The 1st 3 listed made their 2BL/pro debut towards end end of season too.

will be curious between these 3 Youth CFs+On loan from Bayer Stepanov how will many will make that breakthrough next season.

yeah a potential of 4 CFs trying to breakthrough this same club. I'm hoping from the 3 that are of U19-II that the 2/3 who are still Germany eligible prevail over Kusanovic......

4 04 CFs previously brought up in this thread moving up to 3rd Liga from RL.
-Japaur ex Augsburg moving to Verl. A player who has trained/friendlies with 1BL Augsburg too but that club has not much integration. Should have went 3rd Liga last season.....
-Obiogumu of 2BL FCN and ex Hoffenheim Academy going on newly promoted Schweinfurt loan. A player who has trained/friendlies with FCN 1st team. That he's on loan at least open up door depending on how he dev but also clear that there are 4 CFs at FCN that were ahead of him
-Opoku moving to newly promoted to 3rd Liga Hoffenheim II. A Player who was once highly praised at 2BL Kiel but bailed from that club.
-Zank moving to VK, a player who's gotten praise last season for his potential for pro footy.

Both Moerstedt and El Mala were excellent in the Euro, in fact our attacking play in general was very good. I mean scoring 5 v both England and Spain is pretty impressive, the issue was how we were set up defensively and missing players, imagine how we would have done with Jeltsch + Odogu and with Harchaoui in midfield.

yeah, according to reports he was seen in Stuttgart club yesterday so seems to track that 06 AM/W Darvich is going to 1BL Stuttgart....finally real pro progress. Sucks that Stuttgart continues to screw their own players.......oh well incoming

Diehl, Woltemade, Darvich forming 3/4 of the attack.:whistling:

-05 AM/W Ibrahimovic going on 1BL Heidenheim loan.

    -04 GK Weiss #1 of 2BL KSC moves to EPL Burnley....unless he's #1 its a terrible transfer.

-04 CF Moukoko looks headed to Danish 1st Copenhagen....well he did say last month that he has to restart from a 1st Abroad level.
    https://www.kicker.de/moukoko-strebt-wechsel-nach-kopenhagen-an-1127954/artikel

-05 LB Haas extends his contract with 2BL FCK. Sounds like integration is next.
    https://fck.de/de/fck-verlaengert-vertrag-mit-nachwuchsprofi-mika-haas/

-1BL Wolfsburg now also interested in 04 LB Zehnter as are numerous other 1BL clubs. Him and 04 LB Finkgrafe will be curious to where next.
