Just recognized that Leverkusen will be a boring team to follow next season. Really enjoyed watching them before mainly because of Wirtz. Now they will probably play with zero german talents or players.

or do they have some interesting talents that could be integrated? As I understand it Onyeka goes on loan to Bochum. Maybe if Stepanov gets german mebership and plays for Germany. That would feel a little bit dubious though..

Yeah I mean Leverkusen are crap when it comes to integrating German youth. Rolfes says the right things but I don't see progression.

They have some talented 07's for example, Onyeka, Stepanov, Buono, N Mensah, Izekor and 08's like Hawighorst and J Mensah etc but with no II and virtually zero minutes even when well in front in cup matches I don't see a pathway. They have already signed 3 foreign youth this summer who will be instantly ahead in the pecking order you'd suspect.

HT 0-0, both teams have had chances, our best was a Moerstedt header from a corner that hit the bar. England are 3-0 down v Netherlands which means it's now very likely the winner of this match progresses.

Great comeback, we're in the Semi Finals!

Fantastic equaliser from Ouedraogo, and then El Mala capitalised on a gk spillage to score the winner. Once again reliant on individual quality, but to make the final 4 without our best defence shows the fighting quality is still there.

Hopefully Ouedraogo will have an injury-free season. He’d already be world-class if not for all the setbacks—his overall package is incredible. And even in a season where he barely plays, he comes on in the 85th minute and scores an insane goal. Just too much talent...

Tonight the U21 IS playing Italy in the quarter finals. If they proceed the next opponent will be the winner of Denmark vs France.

Italy has a good team without much flaws to exploit. Fortunately we also have a very good team effort and the individual talent to beat them. But the team has to bring their a game tonight. Could be a nail baiter.

Watching U21 and am not impressed with the first half sadly. Something wrong in the tactical disposition. Gruda and Nebel never gets the ball in dangerous positions. Maybe Woltemade needs to drop deeper. We are losing to many second balls to.

Should Nebel have scored that chance in the 35th minute?

Team seems out of sync. That's often the case if too many players are rested for the 3rd group game. I am not a fan of this. Hope they will fight themselves back into the game. Currently Italy is the better team and should lead.

Italians are very strong. They actually deserve the lead. Been very disappointed with Gruda. Offered very little.

Damn. 1-0 to Italy. Koleosho and Gnonto look dangerous. Italy are starting to produce some good black players. Spain too with Yamal and Williams.

It’s usually Italy who score from corners against us. It’s nice to do it to them for once.

Italy just subbed off their best player and brought on another attacker. Currently Germany is again dominating the midfield, thus the Italian forwards seem a bit isolated. To took out the best player for a forward in this situation doesn't seem well thought by the Italian coaches. Let's see

Lol Italy with the 2-2 on the final whistle. It's going into extra time. I feel we need another sub.

Precision and power now fades. They need luck now to avoid penalty shootout. Hats off to the Azzurini.
