on 04 W Gruda, getting LOADS of praise everywhere. Brajan Gruda has been absolutely superb tonight, the best player tonight imo. LMAO, whole season clown Albanian fans were shitting on him for wanting Germany and how he's not good enough for Germany based on his 2nd ever pro season in a new league/country, LOL. there is 0 reason for him to switch, U21 eligible until Summer 2027 too. The potential for him is clearly there. He had a breakout season for a relegation club in his 1st ever pro season and now only his 2nd season and he's started to click more towards end of season. So getting closer.
Paul Wanner will play for Germany at the U21 Euros this summer and will not travel with Bayern to the Club World Cup. The decision has been made in consultation between Bayern, the DFB and the player's camp [@kerry_hau] pic.twitter.com/hoMdNj0vgF— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) May 20, 2025 Hopefully this means he's made the decision to stick with the DFB. On Bayern I expect he'll be a loan candidate next season given they seem happy for him not to be part of the CWC.
LOL, translation Bayern realized that they weren't going to play Wanner much so he'd be wasting his time with Bayern whereas he can be an XI for Germany U21 and likely to help him land better loan gig next season. -Di Salvo is already bitching hard that Germany is the country the most affected by Club World Cup from entire U21 Euro tourney. https://www.kicker.de/dilemma-bei-u-21-em-di-salvo-trifft-die-klub-wm-am-haertesten-1120477/artikel -02 CF Woltemade to SNT??? Moreira looks injured, von der Hitz gets ignored because Reich is playing 3rd Liga unlike him. I'm not convinced that Ramsak should be called up over others. Harchaoui also getting screwed over as well. squad is mostly a case of calling up the same players all season.

we can finally move on from bringing him up, LOL. Mentioned it back in March (was always a matter of time) that once he bails=adios from this thread and into dual thread for him. This is his last real posting in this thread. If I bring him up in future would be in same context of me bringing up, 02-Asllani, 03-Matanovic aka in terms of German dev CFs playing 1BL-2BL regardless of poaching. 04 CF Downs is getting dat USA poach aka we can't dev shit ourselves so we poach. And asshats like troll poster used to say that USA CF dev was better than Germany, LMAO. 🚨EXCL | Damion #Downs has been called up by head coach Mauricio Pochettino for the USA’s training camp ahead of the Gold Cup!He has the chance to earn a spot in the final squad. #effzeh The 20-year-old striker was promoted to the Bundesliga with 1. FC Köln, scoring 10 goals… pic.twitter.com/hmBAGn2LC3— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) May 20, 2025 Downs 100% always came off as an opportunist and we wasted U20 caps for nothing. Should have used them on someone more committed to USA instead of someone who openly always leaned towards ditching in every interview he ever gave on topic, LOL. its clear why, USA SNT vs Germany U21 next cycle where he has 0 guarantee of getting called up. oh well with Downs out of the way we can focus on other duals, as mentioned before, outside of Topp everyone is a dual, LMAO. Topp, Tresoldi, Ansah, Weiper, Pejcinovic are the other 04-05 U21 CFs who are looking like 1BL next season and 4/5=DUALS. When we had Downs with us, was 5/6........ so yeah no Downs means managing 4 CFs is much easier than 5 duals. we can't call them all up to U21, someone aka more than 1 was always bound to get triggered and bail. its also ironic that whenever Downs played Germany U20, DFB coaches would shove him aside to W or AM/SS in order to play Weiper or Pejcinovic as main CF. so yeah would say that with Downs out of the way, we need to focus on keeping Weiper+Pejcinovic on board next cycle.
also since Downs had 0 competitive matches for DFB=no need for 1 time switch too. will he be a MAJOR loss down the line??? Time will tell if we have 6 04-05 CFs next season in 1BL aka they would all be playing 1BL will be curious to see how they all dev all playing in 1BL. Who will dev better in next 2 years and beyond that. then we also have guys like Moerstedt+Stange who might also play 1BL next season in that 06-07 Age Group. Which would jump # to potentially 8 04-06 CFs in 1BL next season. yesterday I posted that Monaco CEO confirmed that Brunner will do preseason with club. Interesting to note that if Brunner doesn't go on loan next season and makes that Monaco breakthrough he could very well play CL footy next season. If such a thing happens, he would be getting closer to the level of the others too. Moukoko might go down to 1st Abroad but how long until him and Brunner go upwards? Same for numerous other players who will end up in 2BL next season.
there are NUMEROUS reasons why I think Downs bailed -USA SNT vs MAYBE Germany U21 -when he did play Germany U20 got shafted out of CF for 2 younger options -Look At Tillman he bailed from Germany U21 because he openly admitted that he had 0 interest in competition with other German talents and that he had 0 guarantee of ever making SNT with Germany. I think its 100% obvious that Tillman noticed the AM/W competition that emerged from Germany from 02-onwards Age Groups and that was ignoring Wirtz, Musiala, Adeyemi too, LOL. its clear that Germany next gen CFs is full of competition, what was posted above was just the 04-06 who are either in 1BL or super close. much much more from 04-onwards on top of fact that there is issue of players like Burkardt, Schade, Woltemade, Harres, Beier, Lemperle (jumping to 1BL next season), Scherhant (jumping to 1BL next season) etc from that 00-02 Age Group. speaking of Lemperle, in numerous matches when he was fit he was ahead of Downs in Koln's pecking order. I believe that Downs played a lot more due to Lemperle getting injured during season too. So already 1 that is ONLY 2 years older was seen as ahead in same club too......and I don't think anybody here actually thinks "Guys Tim Lemperle is 100% top 5 German CF talent!!!" LOL, and not long ago Lemperle wasn't even a CF he used to a W that could play all attacking positions but got shifted to CF in part due to things like Koln's 1 year transfer ban and now looking like perm CF...... -DFB likely sealed the deal, I mean DFB and Di Salvo called up aka choose Tresoldi who is same age as Downs over him for early U21 upping DURING SEASON while both played in 2BL and even though Downs outscored Tresoldi. looks like DFB sees more potential in Tresoldi than Downs. Will that end up a mistake or not? Time will tell. Tresoldi is currently heavily linked with 1BL Frankfurt transfer next season aka a CL club vs Downs playing for a 1BL Promoted club. If Tresoldi does go to Frankfurt continues to give him an edge in terms of dev at higher level and playing for top club.
one thing to be said because I know the USA fans like to make shit up and they've made shit up all season about the topic of Downs vs Tresoldi. Downs played for a club that won 2BL and got promoted vs Tresoldi played for a super messy H96 that was trash and unimpressive all season. but seriously every H96 match I saw this season they were garbage, LOL. I also don't think any brass or any H96 fan was even remotely happy with this wasted season. I recall seeing the H96 brass bitching ALL season about how their playing and another failed promotion attempt.
at this point, one shouldn't expect any German-American to play for Germany long term. They are ALL opportunistic even when they've never ever stepped foot in USA prior to poaching (cough Tillman cough) or when they have deadbeat American fathers they will go with easiest option. Less we forget the whole I'm born in USA but lived my whole life in Germany but I will jump to USA if called......so someone with 0 real links to USA bails to them, LOL. When they poach or try to poach every player possible, they will give free tickets to SNT they will end up winning every player. it truly shows what SHIIIIIITE mentality these players have, LMAO. I'm not surprised but the USA team is FULL of players with garbage mentality too. Even their so called "stars" (they have 0 tbh) like Pulisic, Weston, Reyna etc all have terrible mentality and attitude. I would not be surprised if 03 LB Brown ends up as the only German-American that ends up playing for Germany SNT, LOL. Him at least we see a desire to make SNT based on a few interviews and will actually play a U21 Euro with Germany WITHOUT bailing before like all the others do. the desire to work one's way into Germany U21 and then SNT seems almost non-existent to German-American.
I'm curious if 2BL Kiel (relegated from 1BL) if they see 04-Niehoff as W/CF or RB. LOL with Kiel was an attacker but on his successful 3rd Liga loan he was RB/RWB, LMAO. the German obsession with shoving way too many AM/W to fullback is ridiculous because fullback is a D position NOT an attacking one, the main priority is D but ideal fullback is one who is good at both but those are rare. most fullbacks -either good in A and shit in D -or good in D and shit in A if he does return for realz at Kiel and end up a RB would increase even more the RB pool of 04-onwards. We are seeing loads of 04-07 RBs breakingthrough relevant pros.
so the squad -GK=Atubolu, Ernst, Noll, Schenk -LB=Ullrich, Brown -CB=Mbi, Collins (can also play RB), Jeltsch, Siebert, Oermann, Rosenfelder -RB=Baum -M=Martel, Reitz, Rohl, Jander -AM/W=Wanner, Gruda, Nebel, Thielmann, Knauff -CF=Woltemade, Tresoldi, Weiper, Scherhant Bolded=eligible next U21 cycle too. find it rather bizarre, that players like Rosenboom+Harres who played 1BL all season get ignored, LOL. Like why does Scherhant get called up over Harres for example??? yeah more confirmation that Jeltsch+Collins are likely main CB pairing next cycle is likely and Baum is likely to be 1st choice RB next cycle too. These 3 seem almost like a given and then feels like from 04-05 LB Ullrich is a strong candidate for 1st choice LB next cycle. We could very well be seeing our next back 4 next cycle!!!! pretty interesting that our M isn't even the strongest possible M too and majority of our M talents are actually in that 04-onwards. -Missing Players Due to Club World Cup=Urbig, Beier, Adeyemi, Blank, Morgalla, Kratzig -Missing Players Due to other issues=Moukoko (club), Castrop (injured), Kleine-Bekel (injured) I don't think its bad that Castrop is missing as he's ALWAYS linked with Korea poaching. Might be for best that he isn't called up. Pretty annoying when players play U21 Euro and then come Fall they bail, LOL.
02 CF Scherhant of 2BL Hertha is now officially moving to 1BL Freiburg in Summer!!! https://bsky.app/profile/scfreiburg.com/post/3lpoafum52c2u The Sport-Club signs Derry Scherhant The U21 international player is moving from the capital to the Black Forest. Derry Scherhant played for FC Viktoria 1889, Tennis Borussia, and Berliner Sport-Club in his youth career before joining Hertha BSC's youth team in 2020. As an 18-year-old, he made his senior debut for Hertha BSC II and scored 30 goals in 55 games in the Regionalliga Nordost. The attacker made his Bundesliga debut in January 2023 and has since made 78 competitive appearances for Hertha. This season alone, the 22-year-old has appeared in 37 matches, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists. Derry Scherhant is a current U21 international. "During our discussions, we got to know Derry as an open and realistic young man, and together we have a great desire to realize his full potential," says sporting director Klemens Hartenbach. "Derry is physically strong, has good speed and a drive to score. He also demonstrates a good attitude on the pitch. Despite his somewhat atypical path to professional football, he has retained a refreshing freshness and carefree attitude." Derry Scherhant himself says: "From the very beginning, I sensed energy in the discussions and a desire to work together – I'm incredibly happy. I've decided to give it my all and get as many playing minutes as possible. I'm really looking forward to the coming season here in Freiburg."
04 M Kemlein extends his contract with 1BL Union. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐛𝐭 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐑 🔴⚪ pic.twitter.com/pjeMDCRlNr— 1. FC Union Berlin (@fcunion) May 21, 2025 Homegrown talent continues to put down roots: Aljoscha Kemlein extends his contract 1. FC Union Berlin and midfielder Aljoscha Kemlein have agreed to continue their collaboration. This means the 20-year-old, who has worn the Irons since 2016, will remain a part of the Bundesliga team. Carefree, but with a clear eye for the game, U21 international Aljoscha Kemlein has established himself in the 1. FC Union Berlin men's professional team. The Berlin native moved from the Berlin amateurs to the Irons' youth team, progressed through all the youth teams, and made his Bundesliga debut at the age of 19 against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on the first matchday of the 2023/24 season. In January 2024, he moved to FC St. Pauli for the second half of the season, where he made 17 appearances, significantly contributing to their promotion to the Bundesliga. Back in Köpenick, the homegrown player gained further valuable experience in the German top flight and appeared in 15 matches for Union Berlin. His first Bundesliga goal didn't take long to arrive: Against Holstein Kiel, Kemlein headed in a cross in the 18th minute to make it 1-0, paving the way for a 2-0 away win for the Storks. An injury slowed the 20-year-old during the current season, but he wants to bring his composure and composure back to the pitch for the new season – now with a long-term perspective with the Iron Ones. "Union is my club; this is where I grew up and took my first steps in professional football. I'm highly motivated for the upcoming season, want to develop further, and make my contribution on the pitch. Helping this club achieve its goals, grow together with the team, and continue on this path with Union means an incredible amount to me. I can hardly wait to be able to play an active role again," emphasized Aljoscha Kemlein upon his extension. Horst Heldt, Managing Director of Men's Professional Football at 1. FC Union Berlin, explained: "We have supported Aljoscha since his youth and see great potential in him. He already brings a lot of quality and has already demonstrated his understanding of the game and his style at the highest level. Nevertheless, we see that Aljoscha is developing daily and are therefore convinced that he will play an even more important role for our team in the coming years."
04 AM Damar is returning to 1BL Hoffenheim next season, confirmed!!! Da ma' unterschreiben? Damar unterschreiben! pic.twitter.com/o8E2fnDzQp— TSG Hoffenheim (@tsghoffenheim) May 21, 2025 TSG Hoffenheim extends long-term contract with Muhammed Damar Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim and Muhammed Damar are embarking on a shared future. The Kraichgau club has prematurely extended the 21-year-old attacker's contract, which was due to expire on June 30, 2026. Damar signed a new, long-term contract with Hoffenheim. "Mo is a highly talented player with tremendous technical ability and an exceptional understanding of the game, who repeatedly showed more than just hints of his great potential during his loan spell with SV Elversberg last season," said Andreas Schicker, Sporting Director at TSG Hoffenheim. "The loan to Elversberg was a complete success for both Mo and us. He became a regular in the second division and was able to demonstrate his skills time and again at a high level. We are delighted that, despite many other high-profile offers, Mo has fully committed to extending his contract with TSG. We are all convinced that he will continue to develop positively, enrich the team, and that we will have a great deal of fun with him in the future." "I am incredibly happy to have extended my contract with Hoffenheim for the long term," Damar commented on his signing with TSG. "The club is very close to my heart, I still know many players from the current squad, many members of staff, and the office, so I won't need any time to settle in. This environment will help me enormously in achieving my best performances." Muhammed Damar moved from Eintracht Frankfurt to the Kraichgau region in July 2022 and, in his first season in Hoffenheim, made six Bundesliga appearances and 20 appearances for TSG's Regionalliga team (seven goals). In the 2023/2024 season, Damar played on loan for Hannover 96 in the Second Division (eight appearances) and the Regionalliga Nord (eight appearances, nine goals, three assists). This season, the 21-year-old attacker is making waves in the Second Division for SV Elversberg. Damar was loaned to Saarland from TSG at the start of the season to gain as much match practice as possible at a high level in Elversberg. In 31 appearances for SV Elversberg so far, the Berlin native has scored nine goals and provided six assists. Damar has also qualified for the relegation play-offs with Elversberg and will now play with 1. FC Heidenheim for promotion to the Bundesliga. Damar has also played for all of the German Football Association's (DFB) youth teams since the U18 level and currently plays for the German U20 national team. He has scored one goal in four matches for the DFB youth team. He previously scored six goals in eight matches for the German U19 team.
Freiburg have a lot of W/CF's, I think they have now signed 3 more already this summer. Hopefully Scherhant gets playing time.
06 AM/W Darvich to 1BL Stuttgart!!!! VfB is already looking for a successor Is Barca talent Darvich coming for Millot? Enzo Millot's future at VfB Stuttgart is uncertain. One possible successor is Noah Darvich. The former SC Freiburg talent currently plays for FC Barcelona's reserve team. No player can resist this call. When the Spanish superstar club courted the services of Noah Darvich in the summer of 2023, the German U-19 international quickly packed his bags. The attacking midfielder signed a contract with the Catalans until the end of June 2026, where he was and still is playing for FC Barcelona Atlético, the reserve team, in the Primera Federacion Grupo A (third division). The final game of the season against Unionistas FC will take place on Saturday. But his dream of making it big in La Liga with the former club of superstars like Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona has not yet come true. There was no place in the starting lineup from Catalonia, which is already filled with a number of outstanding attacking players, and it will be difficult to find one in the future. Accordingly, a move for Darvich is on the horizon. The 18-year-old is headed back home. To the Bundesliga, where several representatives are interested in the attacker. Among them is VfB Stuttgart, who are considered very good prospects. Millot's departure is expected The Swabians must expect Enzo Millot's departure. The Frenchman, whose contract runs until the end of June 2028, contains an exit clause. Depending on the poacher, the 22-year-old, who is blessed with a lot of talent, even more self-confidence, but somewhat less serious, could move for a sum of between 18 and 20 million euros. Millot has always made no secret of his desire to return home one day, preferably to his favorite club, Paris St. Germain. The resulting vacancy in the squad would be a perfect fit for the technically skilled and strong Darvich, who is mostly deployed as a number 10 and currently sits 18th in the 20-club league with Barca II. A transfer fee of around three million euros is being discussed for the Freiburg-born young pro, who has French roots on his father's side and won the 2023 DFB U-17 World and European Championships with the German national team. The final word hasn't been spoken yet. Neither on Millot nor on Darvich, who Stuttgart aren't the only ones interested in. https://www.kicker.de/kommt-barca-talent-darvich-fuer-millot-1120773/artikel
Stuttgart in nutshell -Academy Youth= -German Youth from Elswhere= and then they claim we have a SHIT TON of talent, us surviving 3rd Liga prove this too!!!!! But then at every chance frick the Academy youth, LOL. speaking of Stuttgart Academy Youth 05 M Ulrich is linked with 1BL Promoted HSV also linked with 1BL Promoted HSV are 04 CF Tresoldi and 04 CF Ansah but its been said that those 2 are list of TONS of clubs. https://www.liga-zwei.de/hsv-chancen-bei-ilyas-ansah-und-shuto-machino/
well at least one + is that Freiburg is a more stable club than other possible options and have qualified for EL next season, so triple competition should provide game time, hopefully.
correction to this -Missing Players Due to Club World Cup=Urbig, Beier, Adeyemi, Blank, Morgalla, Kratzig, Bischof -Missing Players Due to other issues=Moukoko (club), Castrop (injured), Kleine-Bekel (injured) LOL, I forgot Bischof, di Salvo is crying/bitching that he's not available. at this point, I don't even expect him for next U21 cycle. At MAX, he'll only show up short term and then possibly end up with SNT call up. better to NOT bother with calling up Bischof next cycle and focus on players who could play U21 Euro 2027.
Yeah Stuttgart are a joke when it comes to integrating their own talents, but at least redeem themselves a bit by going after a lot of German talents from elsewhere lol. So Ulrich possibly moving to HSV, and Malanga to Elversberg. Will be interesting what the plan is with Raimund & Di Benedetto etc. Darvich moved too early, very tough to break through Barca so this could be a good move. Especially given how Stuttgart could well play EL next season.
honestly feels like there is no plan for anyone, LOL. They are better off all bailing perm tbh. I feel like the MAX we can hope for is 1 player making the 1st team but irony is that Ulrich would be that main candidate. Huge question marks if that happens or not. He singlehandly kept the club in 3rd Liga after arriving in Winter and imagine that is not enough to make the 1st team. Don't forget Seimen is looking like 2BL Paderborn loan. In his case it makes sense, unlike Freiburg II where Atubolu played 3rd Liga, Stuttgart doesn't give 2 shits about 3rd Liga and with Nubel leaving Summer 2026, he's better off playing 2BL #1 for 1 season before making the 1BL jump. speaking of Freiburg, Darvich should NEVER have left that club. When he left he had Barca II in Spanish 3rd division vs Freiburg II in 3rd Liga at the time. and then jump to 1st team at Freiburg would have been easy for him. He actually impressed a LOT in Freiburg 1st team friendlies but alas the obsessive fixation from young players in jumping to big clubs too early. I don't get the logic, move to Barca....................after you establish yourself in 1BL assuming he shows qualities that are deemed enough for Barca. I'm just glad that Darvich isn't excessively hardheaded in terms of wanting to stay at Barca and continue to try to breakthrough. LOL when players are deseperate. would assume that Barca might have a buyback or something and with Stuttgart he'll have chance to breakthrough. 1st of all they want to win him over competition as other clubs are interested 2nd of all he looks to be set to replace a regular XI Millot, that's usually good sign 3rd of all, it didn't take much time for players like Jeltsch, Woltemade, Diehl to be regulars I really hope Diehl is fully fit next season, loads of potential from him. we are close to a full German Attack for Stuttgart between Darvich, Diehl, Woltemade, only missing 1 to make it 4/4!!!!
Spanish Press, also says that Bayer Leverkusen is interested in Darvich too. replacement for Wirtz???
on 04 CF Downs.............bolded=jab at troll poster, LMAO. "I was able to marvel at Downs live again this weekend, and there wasn't a single ball move that would make you believe he could one day become Germany's top striker, nor that his game is characterized by the qualities one user considered so important. But hey, he's 1.92m tall. A top team in the 2. Bundesliga can score goals, but that doesn't necessarily mean he has the talent to do so one day at the top international level." I too have had doubts about him for some years when comparing him to the other German CF talents potential wise but better to take a wait and see approach. Who knows how one devs long term. That is always issue of losing players before they fully breakthrough 1BL and dev isn't linear, players do improve. And when somebody ALREADY has the facilities/package it makes it easier to do so. as for troll Poster, LMAO "And of course, there are plenty of "Robert Ramsak"-type center forwards in Germany. I'm thinking of Johannes Eggestein, Fiete Arp, Kevin Grimm, Thomas Kastanaras, Max Wagner, Alex Staff, Deniz Zeitler, Etcibasi, David Creta, Yll Gashi, Ali Aydin, and Najdi... Why do we need to produce such strikers who are neither wingers nor true number nines? Why do we need undersized inside strikers when there's hardly any position for them in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1?" what a clown. Grimm?? Really a player that is basically retired and who nobody ever rated. Oh wow DFB called him up for U17 a Billion years ago.....who cares. Eggestein+Arp are playing for themselves move the ******** on and stop bringing them up at every chance. Nobody thinks they will play SNT and dev wise they've been "produced" ages ago. Move on from these players already. also always bitching about Ramsak, LOL, we all know he's getting poached long term. Kastanaras on track for possible 2BL-1st Abroad is more likely to be poached by Greece. How long until Zeitler, Etcibasi get poached by Turkey and list goes on and on. Funny how troll always brings up players ignoring that soon enough most will be poached and then none will be related to Germany anymore. Also why act like Wagner was ever seen as some HUGE talent, he can play all attacking position and has had numerous injury issues but has shown that he's at least pro footy material next maybe 3rd Liga next??? surprised he didn't bring up his usual suspect ******** Sieb, ******** Copado, ******** Torsiello etc Funny since Sieb isn't even a CF he's more AM/W=1BL and Copado+Torsiello=hit on 3rd Liga loans and 2BL-1st Abroad is good chance next for both, LOL. LOL, troll poster doesn't grasp that there are like what 60+ Germany U19 clubs in the highest level. Nevermind the lower levels of U19. does this clown really think that Germany or any country can produce 60 to 100+ big/physical CFs per age group???? LOL. every age group will have X number of promising CFs where does that leave every other club? Like imagine Group X has 10 promising/interesting CFs.....that's 10/60 Clubs for example, LOL. clubs will be forced to make due with what they have, its also why most clubs up CFs from younger age groups in order to have other options.
