Heidenheim won 2-1 in Conference League.

the coach Schmidt praised 04 GK Feller's pro debut!!!

what I find interesting is every prominent GK from 02-04 have all emerged in pro footy.
    -02=Atubolu (1BL #1), Gebhardt (2BL #1), Schreiber (3rd Liga #1, has like 10 2BL XI from past).

these are the top 3 02 GKs for Germany, whether DFB or by reputation.
And 2/3 in relevant pros and 3/3 have played relevant pros. I would assume that Schreiber will be 2BL-1st Abroad next season and would make it 3/3 in relevant pros.

    -03=Urbig (2BL #1), Schenk (2BL #1), Ernst (2BL #1), Noll (2BL #1, on loan)

these are 4/4 of the top 03 GKs whether for DFB or by reputation.
And 4/4 in relevant pros, this is like never before seen thing too. 50% brokethrough last season and 50% this season.

-04=Weiss (2BL #1), Feller (made pro XI debut for 1BL today), Backhaus (played entires last season in Eredivisie XI and this season will be 1BL bench. Looks headed for 1BL #1 soon enough too.), Kwasigroch (2BL Bench GK, has 1 XI), Hulsmann (Austrian 2nd loan and XI......ain't gonna breakthrough Bayern.)

1st 3 are the usuals in DFB Call ups and we've seen 3/3 make relevant pro debuts. And the other 2 are well rated as well. How long until we see 5/5 in relevant pros???

of course this ain't the full 02-04 GK pool but interesting to see that EVERY single rated GK from those age groups has either made themselves relevant pro XI or made pro debuts.

    12 players total.
-7/12=Relevant Pros #1s aka MORE THAN half.
    -2/12=Relevant Pros Bench GKs
    -2/12=3rd Liga Level #1s
-1/12=aka Feller who not sure if he's bench GK or not as in Europe they call up 3 GKs. We shall see if he's bench come weekend or if he's still #3.

oh next GK to emerge??? Will be curious if he'll be #1 or typical BS issue with a lot of GK loans where they only want a GK for sake of competition.

03 GK Krumrey went on Danish 1st loan.

LYNGBY BOLDKLUB HIRE STRONG GERMAN GOALKEEPER
Jonas Krumrey is in royal blue for the rest of the current season, as he joins on a loan agreement from Austrian RB Salzburg.

The German goalkeeper Jonas Krumrey was also present at Lundtoftevej today, and he will be here for the rest of this season, as he is joining on a loan agreement from RB Salzburg.

Football manager Nicas Kjeldsen is delighted with the addition of the 20-year-old and 193 cm. tall goalkeeper.

    - We wanted to further increase the competition around the goalkeeper position, and we are really happy to have done that with the addition of Jonas, says Nicas Kjeldsen and continues.

    - Jonas has a really big potential, and he is also a goalkeeper in whom they still have a lot of faith in Salzburg, where he is intended for an important place in the future. We are looking forward to getting him into our strong training environment and goalkeeping team, where there is healthy competition for the place in the goal.

    Will absorb valuable experience

Jonas Krumrey has been part of an incredibly strong environment at RB Salzburg, where he has yet to make his senior debut.

He himself hopes that the stay at Lyngby Boldklub will help to mature him further, just as he is also looking forward to contributing at De Kongeblå, which he has heard very well about.

    - I am really happy for this chance and that Lyngby Boldklub believes in me. It is for me personally an important step in my development, hopefully to get to play in as strong a series as the Superliga is, so I just want to soak up a lot of valuable experience and contribute everything that I possibly can, says Jonas Krumrey and talks about his knowledge of Lyngby Boldklub.

    - I didn't know a great deal about Lyngby Boldklub before I heard about the interest in me, but then of course I followed and investigated what kind of club it is. I have also been told very well about the club by Maurits Kjærgaard in Salzburg. My impression is that Lyngby Boldklub is a club with good and healthy values, that they believe a lot in the young people, and that there is a special family feeling around the club. I can easily see myself in that, and I'm really looking forward to getting started and greeting the fans, concludes Krumrey.

yeah 02 Age Group is full of destroyed by injuries like
Mosandl, Pakia, Meyer, Egloff, John etc
    vs poached by other NTs
    Samardzic, Tillman, Dardai, Aydin etc

in retrospect its a weird age group, LOL.

-06 CB Odogu is fit again and candidate for XI for 1BL Wolfsburg.
"Thank God David is back now," Wolves coach Ralph Hasenhüttl reported on Friday, "he has been training for the last two days." Before that, however, Odogu was out for a period of four weeks.

Basically, Hasenhüttl believes in the 18-year-old. "He did very well during the preparations and showed how far he has come against very good opponents. He is a player you can trust."

-04 CB Collins is candidate for XI at 1BL Frankfurt
Toppmöller nevertheless emphasised: "Nnamdi was a candidate for the starting eleven for Braunschweig and for me he is also a candidate for the starting eleven tomorrow." The footballer, who was trained at BVB, has trained well "and has made great progress".

In view of the difficult competitive situation, however, the question arises as to whether a loan with regular match practice would not be the better solution for this development. If it is up to Toppmöller, that is not the case: "He is totally focused on the task, physically in excellent condition," he praised, "so it is not an issue for me at all to give him away because he is an important part of the team for us."

    -on 05 AM/W Ibrahimovic of 1BL Bayern.

-02 LB John and 04 M Tohumcu are back fit and team training for 1BL Hoffenheim while 05 M Bischof needs another week.

not posting much of anything this weekend except for double debutant.

    2BL FD with 2-1 W.
-05 CF Pejcinovic (on loan) scored his 1st ever pro goal for tying goal.

-03 CF/AM Schmidt also scored his 1st ever pro goal for 2-1 winner. Assist by 03 W Rossmann.

so 3/3 of the FD attacking youth involved in comeback win for the club.

lets hope that Pejcinovic scores as much as possible so that come Summer 2025 and he's in 1BL level.

2 goals in 2 games this season so far, scoring in 2/2. Would be stupid if no U21 call up.

could happen given that he 1st emerged at Bayern under.....Nagelsmann.

but real issue is what that clown Di Salvo will do.

    a comment
"you have a pool of players like:

Atubolu, Jeltsch, Kleine-Bekel, Mbi, Rohl, Martel, Diehl, Gruda, Wanner, Maza, Woltemade, Beier, Moukoko, Ibrahimovic, Krätzig, Brown, Ouedraogo, Brunner, Darvich, Rothe, Tohumcu, Klemens, Drexler, Tresoldi, Weiper, Bischof, Kömür, Ulrich, Netz, Pejcinovic, Sieb, Nebel, Urbig, Topp, Kemlein, Kade, Ansah, Gechter, Morgalla, Krattenmacher, Castrop, Wagner, Aseko, Collins, Moerstedt etc.

The DFB hasn't had such a large pool of talented players for the U21s for ages. Let's see what Di Salvo, who I don't think much of, makes of it. Even if he likes to keep his core the same throughout the cycle, he now has to promote some players like Wanner or Maza, anything else would be absurd."

    from that Pool of names
    -GK=Atubolu, Urbig
    -LB=Kratzig, Brown, Rothe, Netz
-CB=Jeltsch, Kleine-Bekel, Mbi, Collins, Gechter, Drexler,
    -RB=Morgalla
-M=Rohl, Martel, Ouedraogo, Tohumcu, Kemlein, Wagner, Aseko, Castrop, Bischof, Ulrich, Klemens (also CB)
-AM/W=Diehl, Gruda, Wanner, Maza, Ibrahimovic, Darvich, Kade, Krattenmacher, Sieb, Nebel, Komur
-CF=Woltemade, Beier, Moukoko, Brunner, Tresoldi, Weiper, Topp, Ansah, Moerstedt, Pejcinovic

LOL, only list that is more fully listed is CF. For CFs not many that one can add to list besides these ones. Other options would be guys like Lemperle, Downs, Kastanaras, Scherhant etc.

so 04 GK Feller was the bench GK for 1BL Heidenheim opening match over 90-Eicher. Looks like Schmidt sees him as co-#2 at the club and has moved up from last season's #3 spot. Does look like he could be the bench GK for the season and could very well play Conference League matches as well after his pro debut this week.

While 05 GK Wechsel made his 3rd Liga/Pro Debut for H96 in 1-0 W, was first win of season for H96 II after 3 matches. And 06 GK Schlieck also made his Belgian 2nd/Pro Debut in 3-1 L for Anderlecht II.

    GKs looking like
    -1BL #1=02-Atubolu
    -1BL Bench=04-Backhaus, 04-Feller
    -2BL #1=02-Gebhardt, 03-Noll (on loan), 03-Schenk, 03-Urbig, 03-Ernst, 04-Weiss
    -2BL Bench=03-Kruth, 04-Kwasigroch
-1st Abroad #1 Wait and See=03-Krumrey (on Danish 1st loan, very recent transfer. If not #1 would likely end up as another Bench player.)

    Relevant Pros #1=7 players........with a 6/18=1/3 of 2BL GKs.
Relevant Pros Wait and See for #1=1 player
    Relevant Pros Bench=4 players

    -3rd Liga Level #1s=02-Johnen, 02-Schreiber, 03-P.Schulze (on loan), 03-Bethke, 03-Hagemoser, 04-Hulsmann (Austrian 2nd), 05-Seimen, 05-Wechsel, 06-Heide, 06-Schlieck (Belgian 2nd)

    3rd Liga Level #1s=10 players...........with 8/20=40% of 3rd Liga GKs, getting close to 50%.

    still find 03s progress interesting
4 #1s in relevant pros with potential of a 5th and then add another 3 #1s in 3rd Liga level. We are fast approaching double digits pro #1s from 03 Age Group. When Lotka bails from BVB II, 03-Ostrzinski could very well be the 10th. As Magdeburg has already confirmed that Kruth is seen as potential future #1 as well. And more in 3rd Liga Bench+RL #1s too.

Interesting to compare GKs #1s in Relevant Pros only looking at top 5 league and ignoring 1st Abroad.

    -Germany=02-Atubolu (1BL), 02-Gebhardt (2BL), 03-Noll (2BL loan), 03-Schenk (2BL), 03-Ernst (2BL), 03-Urbig (2BL), 04-Weiss (2BL)

    -France=05-Restes (Ligue 1), 05-Jaouen (Ligue 2), 03-Nkambadio (Ligue 2)
-Italy=03-Desplanches (Serie B), 03-Vismara (Serie B, he's NOT even the #1, but played 45 min this weekend do to injury to #1 during match. Wait and see if he becomes #1 or not/)
    -Pengland=02-Trattford (Championship), 04-Beadle (Championship)
    -Spain=02-Cunat (La Liga 2)

    Count
    -Germany=7
    -France=3
    -Italy, Pengland=2
    -Spain=1

where is our clown useless troll who has contributed 0 to forums manimal to come and cry that I'm lying. Because that's what he accused me of doing when listing CF Pool comparisons, LMAO. You can't lie about career progress but some are just delusional idiots who expose themselves very fast that their issue isn't the content of post but hatred for the poster posting, LULZ.

    imagine
    France+Italy+Pengland+Spain=8>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Germany=7

LOL, you have to add ALL the GKs from rivals just to surpass Germany's #s.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: And if Vismara is discounted than it becomes 7=7, LULZ.

-04 CF Moukoko back to Ligue 1, shame that he's not in top 4 league......

-1BL Heidenheim coach Schmidt on 05 AM/W Wanner
"If you take the first half hour, he was the best man on the pitch," said coach Frank Schmidt at the press conference following the 2-0 victory.

Something worth counting came in the second half in the 66th minute when Wanner put a pass from substitute Marvin Pieringer into the net. Schmidt wants to keep the 18-year-old grounded, however: "What he definitely cannot have is satisfaction. Today he scored, as he did in the last few weeks of preparation, and he must continue on this path."

"He is at a very high level in terms of football, but men's football, whether in the Bundesliga or the 2nd division, also means resilience in the athletic area," said Schmidt, who, as an experienced trainer, knows: "You always have to be ready to deal with setbacks. Maybe that's why we got him, because we have developed one or two players in this area in the past."

Wanner is supposed to help Heidenheim with his qualities
As a number ten, Wanner is destined to boost the game in attack. In this context, the talent is also supposed to boost Heidenheim's basic ambitions. "He can hold onto the ball well in tight spaces and always get out of tight situations. He has a very good passing game and also a good eye," said Schmidt, listing the advantages.

The most important aspect for Schmidt, in addition to the desire for development, is that Wanner can take the next step at a larger club at some point and "that he helps the team achieve its goals with his qualities." He has already played a key role in winning the first three points.

    I think was more like
"If I was called up by Belgium I would play for them."

loads of duals like this, 1st come 1st serve. Like why not make up your own mind without this BS mentality. Say I want to play for Germany and will work my way into it......but 1st come 1st serve=no interest in working way just want to play YNT and would play for anyone, LOL aka reeks of desperation.

why does every International break, DFB seems allergic to calling up CFs.

I'm curious to how for example Etcibasi gets called up when he's scored 0 goals this season for BVB while Dzonga is BVB's leading scorer.

DFB calls ups a lot of times is basically always calling up same guys even when they aren't performing.

this is U18 aka nothing but friendlies, try out other CFs besides
    Husser, Etcibasi, Stange, Izekor

LOL, anyone still think the 2023 U21 Euro was anything serious from Germany? A CB who had 0 business even in XI or even squad is now in 3rd Liga, 2 seasons later.

    I still don't get how he was 3/3 XIs.....o_Oo_Oo_O

    and here it is!!!

Our 8th Relevant Pro #1 GK confirmed!!!!!

    02-Atubolu (1BL), 02-Gebhardt (2BL), 03-Krumrey (Danish 1st loan), 03-Noll (2BL on loan), 03-Schenk (2BL), 03-Urbig (2BL), 03-Ernst (2BL), 04-Weiss (2BL)

made his 1st ever XI for relevant pros in 1-0 L.

would be 9th if it wasn't for 1BL Bremen screwing 04-Backhaus who was XI in Eredivisie last season on loan and was also seen as best or one of best GKs of that league last season. Has more potential than Zetterer. One would assume that soooon enough will become #1 as well.

and a whopping 5 #1s in relevant pros from 03 Age Group as well. All breakingthrough as #1s during U21 cycle as well.

that clown Di Salvo has a HUGE Pool of GKs, lets hope he goes based on performances and NOT bias.

LOL if one doesn't ignore 1st Abroad levels, than it really becomes
    Germany=8================8=France+Italy+Pengland+Spain

Believe the Dutch are currently at 2 #1s in Eredivisie while Portuguese are at ZERO. It would take adding Dutch to list just to surpass Germany, LULZ.

looking at 1st Abroad none of the rivals have even 1 GK #1s in any of those leagues. With addition of Krumrey we are equal. These 1st Abroad tend to be seen as equivalent to 2nd division of top 4. Germany could overtake the rivals if as mentioned Vismara isn't made #1.

what's interesting is to see how many GKs Belgium seem to have for next gen.
    Belgian 1st #1s=05-Epolo, 05-Penders, 02-Leysen, 02-Lammens

add that 02-Vandevoordt (was Belgian 1st #1 last season) and currently 1BL Leipzig bench GK and seen as potential future #1 at the club.

the Belges seem to be the country who has the most #1s of 02-onwards AFTER Germany when it comes to top 5 Leagues+top 5 2nd divisions+1st Abroad Leagues.

its interesting to see that France has 2 05 #1s and Belgium also has 2 05 #1s.

Our 05s are closing in on breakthroughs of relevant pros just not this season.
Seimen+Wechsel are #1s in 3rd Liga for first time this season and Seimen is on track to become 1BL Stuttgart #1 soon enough aka when Nubel's loan ends either Summer 2025 or Summer 2026. Not impossible if Nubel stays until 2026 that Seimen goes on 2BL-1st Abroad loan next season. While Wechsel is on track to becoming 2BL H96 #1 as current #1 is fast approaching the end he'll be 36 y/o this season with 2025 contract so could very well become #1 next season. Then once 03-Ernst bails from 2BL Hertha, Goller is on track to replace him and this could very well happen Summer 2025 when Ernst could be sold. And the other candidate for a breakthrough in next 1-2 years is Podlech at 2BL S04. These 4 05s are closest to 1BL-2BL breakthrough when it comes to 05 GKs.

pretty funny how just 2 years ago, NON-STOP bitching from DFB, German media, fans etc about how Germany is dooooooooooooooooooomed when it comes to GKs.

fastforward to Summer 2024 and Germany has 8 youth GKs in relevant pro level, LULZ. More then any other country around. More funny is how 6/8 are in 2BL, a place that was notoriously anti-youth for YEARS. That soooooo many are breakingthrough a NEGATIVE league for so long towards youth, just highlights their potential.

not only that but I mentioned before that the next gen GKs are more complete than any of the 90s born GKs. Its also why sooooo many are benching the older options and ones who are bench players themselves, everyone at club admits that they have more potential and higher ceiling then current #1s just lack of trust due to lack of exp and not wanting to risk mistakes. But at end of day, this will just mean that MORE will breakthrough in future.

also the 02-onwards GKs brokethrough relevant pros A LOT faster than the 00-01 Age Groups for example. 00-01 almost all of them only brokethrough relevant pros THIS season aka 2 years post U21 cycle for them vs during U21 cycle for 02-03.

LOL Pengland want to poach 05 CB Pauli......yup according to kicker....and they always bitch if Germany goes after a German-English player. Funny thing is that almost all the German-English players have 0 Penglish descent.

also 04 CF Downs to Germany it seems. LOL from going to want USA Olympics to being rejected by them to his 1st ever DFB call up. Not sure if smart to bother with someone like this. If USA were to offer SNT in future would he bail for them???

Cologne duo is also being courted by other associations
Two FC talents nominated for DFB U20

During the upcoming international break, Bundesliga relegated team 1. FC Cologne will send two regular players to the DFB. Damion Downs and Julian Pauli have recommended themselves as regular players for a nomination, but are also being courted by two other associations.

In June, Damion Downs was still wearing the USA jersey - at least in training. The striker was then called up to the United States' provisional Olympic squad. Since then, the 20-year-old has developed into a regular at 1. FC Köln, was in the Billy Goats' starting eleven in all three second division games and in the cup - so that Downs apparently appeared on the radar of the German Football Association. According to information from kicker, he will be called up to the selection of U-20 national coach Hannes Wolf together with club colleague Julian Pauli in the upcoming international break.

Pauli also recently became a regular in the FC jersey, after only being promoted from the Cologne youth team to the pros in the summer, and immediately impressed with his safe passing game, good opening play and resolute tackling. There has been no sign of nervousness so far.

While the fast and strong striker Downs is still waiting for his first goal of the season, Pauli headed his first professional goal for FC in the 3-2 after extra time in the cup in Sandhausen. Downs, on the other hand, already scored twice in the Bundesliga last season. The nomination for the U20 is also a great signal for 1. FC Köln, whose trust in its own youth is clearly starting to pay off.

Will the DFB do better this time?
Now both are to wear the DFB jersey in the upcoming matches of the German U20 on September 5th against Romania and on September 10th against Italy. While Downs has already been invited to DFB training courses but has not yet played, Pauli last played for Germany in the U16s - and will only be considered again after a long time.

The DFB is thus sending a clear signal to the two talents: In the past, the association has repeatedly failed to bind talented young players to itself. Most recently, for example, with Juventus Turin's Kenan Yildiz, who decided to play for Turkey. Because Downs and Pauli could theoretically also play for other nations: Downs only narrowly missed the Olympics with the USA, Pauli was born in London to German parents and therefore also has a British passport. The English are also pursuing the 1.90 meter tall defender accordingly - but for now the DFB is in pole position.

at least the whole 04 CF Moukoko debacle looks headed to end game. Good we don't need to see BVB screwing him over by sending him to the stands after sabotaging a few deals.

06 M Osawe looks headed to 2BL FCN.

RB talent Osawe about to move to Nuremberg
According to FT information, 1. FC Nuremberg is strengthening its team with Winners Osawe. The 17-year-old midfielder from RB Leipzig is moving permanently to the Franconians. However, the Saxons are not losing access to their homegrown player. A buy-back option has been negotiated.

Osawe was already there yesterday, and the deal is expected to be concluded shortly. In Leipzig, the U17 world and European champion was only under contract until 2025. However, the highly talented number six is now taking the step into professional football in Franconia.
