Too many one sided/easy matches, which is always likely when you basically have 64 clubs playing in groups at the same level. We need to give the better youth talents tougher tests, rather then keeping them in U19 as long as possible and now giving them more fixtures v much lower ranked regional opponents.

Yeah thats the problem. They will lose a half yeah development with these easy matches. How i said, I dont really understand why they dont do like a bundesliga u 18 where the NLZ can play with each other. I can undestand thats its unfair for the other weak teams because they will lose the opportunity to play with these teams. But this a perfomance sport and the besr should play against the best to be better.

    -on 04 CF Topp

20 - Keke Topp (20 years, 147 days) is Werder Bremen's youngest double-packer in the DFB Cup in 50 years - in September 1974, Volker Ohling (19 years, 234 days) and Uwe Erkenbrecher (19 years, 298 days) each scored twice against BSC Grünhöfe. Dream debut.

    CF Roundup
-04 CF Topp continues to get praise by coaching and teammates after today's hat trick. He was only + thing in preseason for 1BL Bremen.

-on 05 CF Pejcinovic who made his debut for 2BL FD while on loan played 26 min. After being back from injury, too early for an XI.

"Had 3 good link-up moments, very aggressive pressing & looked physically at a good level."

-06 CF Moerstedt played well in his 60 min for 1BL Hoffenheim as a sub. He almost scored a few times and was pretty good in terms of hold up and build up play. Not an easy game as opponent 100% bus parked but Moerstedt made difference with his drawing of players on him. Almost always had 2 guys on him which opened up space for them to score equalizer.

-on 06 CF Brunner who made his debut as a 25 min sub for Belgian 1st on loan. Its also his debut on a higher than 3rd Liga level too. That was quick as he transfered very recently. A reaction.

"He tried to show himself, in vain. A bit of a soloist, without necessarily weighing on the match. We sense potential that will have to be refined and worked on during the season!"

still Belgian 1st>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3rd Liga and he's playing for a club that will play Euro footy too.

its cool to see that almost all the interesting CFs are now playing pro.
Whether Beier, Woltemade, Moukoko, Topp, Tresoldi, Ansah, Weiper, Pejcinovic, Brunner, Moerstedt as of now ALL of them are FIXED in matchday squads of 1BL-2BL/1st Abroad clubs. We are just waiting on Moukoko to bail from BVB to make it 10/10 100%.

there are like another 15 who are actually either fixed in matchday squads of 1BL-2BL (more 2BL than 1BL tbh) or still in that working their way but one feels like they are less interesting for now. Or a Downs, how long until he gets perm poached by USA? LOL.

what I'm curious is how likely to call up those 10 to NT???
    -SNT=Beier
    -U21=Moukoko, Woltemade
    -U20=Pejcinovic
    -U19=Moerstedt, Brunner

these seem to be the most likely. One would think that Ansah+Tresoldi being in 2BL would relegate them to U20 options over U21. This is more of a Tresoldi issue as he did get U21 call up last season but hard to justify it next season.

and then you have to also place Weiper+Topp who will both be in 1BL.

    is it gonna be
    -SNT=Beier
    -U21=Moukoko, Woltemade, Weiper or Topp
    -U20=Pejcinovic, Tresoldi, Weiper or Topp
    -U19=Moerstedt, Brunner

and Ansah is odd man out likely to be left out.
Its the same for the 15 CFs from 1BL-2BL that I didn't mention outside of Downs. I don't see ANY of them getting U20-U21 call up would be shocking tbh. There is ZERO room for ALL of them.

well that's what happens when you have too many CFs, can't all be called up to NT. There will be lots of "losers".

just imagine that Matanovic never bailed to Croatia (he actually got called up to Croatia SNT today). And he's playing 1BL+Europe next season, LMAO would have made things even more complicated when it comes to NT call ups and trying to hold on to everyone. Will be curious if he makes himself 1st choice for Croatia SNT down the line or not.

    U21 Pool, not full list

    -GK=Atubolu (1BL #1), Gebhardt (2BL #1), Urbig (2BL #1), Ernst (2BL #1), Schenk (2BL #1), Noll (2BL #1, on loan), Weiss (2BL #1, 04)

Ignoring ALL 1BL-2BL-1st Abroad Bench GKs and 3rd Liga-RL #1s. I mean when you have 7 options those others aren't relevant to convo, LOL.

    -LB=Kuhn (Austrian 1st), Bolay (2BL), Bauer (2BL), Herold (2BL), Gunther (2BL), Di Michele Sanchez (2BL), Netz (1BL), Brown (1BL), Kratzig (1BL), John (1BL-injured), Rothe (1BL, 04), Ullrich (1BL, 04), Zehnter (2BL, 04), Finkgrafe (2BL-injured, 04)

    Ignoring ALL 05-onwards.

    -CB=Lawrence (Austrian 1st), Mbi (Portuguese 1st), Scheller (2BL), Breunig (2BL), Beifus (2BL), Riedel (2BL), Oermann (1BL), Schmidt (1BL), Rosenfelder (1BL), Kleine-Bekel (1BL-injured), Blank (Austrian 1st, 04), Gechter (2BL, 04), Collins (1BL, 04), Quarshie (2BL loan, 04)

    Ignoring ALL 05-onwards.

    -RB=Thielmann (2BL), Hofmann (2BL), ter Horst (2BL), Allgeier (2BL), Rosenboom (1BL), Oliveira (2BL, 04), Ba (2BL, 04), Morgalla (Austrian 1st, 04), Baum (2BL on loan, 05), Bulut (2BL, 06), Moreira (EPL, 06)

Looks like 04-Eitschberger getting screwed by Hertha. Hit 3rd Liga loan last season, gets confirmed for 1st team this Summer, extends with club........but they were supposed to sell Kenny, since that didn't happen he's currently 3rd choice and linked with 3rd Liga reloan. So stupid.

    -M=Breithaupt (1BL), Reitz (1BL), Rohl (1BL), Wagner (1BL loan), Kerber (1BL), Consbruch (2BL), Jander (2BL), Castrop (2BL), Martel (2BL), Pantschenko (2BL), Kemlein (1BL, 04), Tohumcu (1BL, 04), Jahn (1BL, 04), Pannewig (1BL, 04)

Question mark on Jahn+Pannewig both of 1BL Bochum but as of now both made squad in 1st match of season.

Ignoring All 04s in 2BL+All 05-onwards. Once fit aka end of September and playing, 06-Ouedraogo is likely to be a strong candidate.

    -AM/W=Ibrahimi (Austrian 1st), Bobzien (Austrian 1st loan), Kehrer (Eredivisie), Scott (Belgian 1st), Sane (2BL-injured), Futkeu (2BL), Winkler (2BL), Baah (Championship), Conte (2BL loan), Obuz (2BL), Rossmann (2BL), Schmahl (2BL), El Zein (2BL), Bauer (2BL), Kelati (1BL), Knauff (1BL), Nebel (1BL), Sieb (1BL), Gruda (EPL, 04), Bamba (1BL, 04), Diehl (1BL, 04), Kabadayi (1BL, 04), Geller (2BL,04), Baur (2BL, 04), Marie (2BL, 04), Chakroun (3rd Liga+2BL, 04), Damar (Unknown, 04), Kaygin (Austrian 1st, 04), Paula (Eredivisie, 04), Kade (Swiss 1st, 04), Wanner (1BL loan, 05), Ibrahimovic (1BL-injured, 05), Komur (1BL, 05), Opitz (1BL, 05), Raimund (1BL, 05), Forkel (2BL, 05), Janisch (2BL, 05), Balde (2BL, 05), Maza (2BL, 05), Popp (2BL, 05), Krattenmacher (2BL on loan, 05), Ndikom (3rd Liga+2BL, 05)

    -CF=Beier (1BL), Woltemade (1BL), Harres (1BL), Kastanaras (3rd Liga+1BL), Scherhant (2BL), Lemperle (2BL), Galjen (2BL), Castelle (2BL), Schmidt (2BL), Kuhinja (2BL), Moukoko (La Liga???, 04), Topp (1BL), Downs (2BL, 04), Tresoldi (2BL, 04), Ansah (2BL, 04), Marino (2BL, 04), Copado (Austrian 1st, 04), Weiper (1BL, 05), Pejcinovic (2BL loan, 05), Mahmoud (2BL, 05), Remmert (2BL, 05), Rolke (2BL, 05), Torsiello (2BL, 05), Moerstedt (1BL, 06), Brunner (Belgian 1st, 06)

well what's great to see is that there are 1BL players for EVERY position in XI. Will be curious if we see more transfers or is this it. Or who else manages to breakthrough during season not mentioned here.

-04 RB Eitschberger got screwed by Hertha and ends up back to 3rd Liga, so dumb.

-2BL Hertha wants to extend with 05 AM/W Maza although might still be sold in Summer 2025.

    LOL

He will be the future number 1 in the national team, I'm putting all my money on that, it can't be any other way, you can feel sorry for Urbig

Urbig is 1 year younger and has more potential. Only edge that Atubolu has is that he's #1 in 1BL but once Urbig and others become 1BL #1 any and all edges will be gone. Even if Atubolu is U21 #1 doesn't mean anything about SNT.

but yeah I keep seeing so many having these debates about future #1 for SNT but also who will be future Germany #9. Bremen fans now pushing for Topp to make SNT for WC26, LOL.

if one sees sooooo many convos about X vs Y for GK and CF it just highlights how stacked the GK and CF position will be soooooooon enough.

-06 CF Brunner on why he bailed from BVB....yeah like I said the plan was BVB II+YL+once in a blue moon with 1st team, LOL. Yeah the typical German, "we want to build up X or Y" aka not relevant for 1st team anytime soon. They always say shit like this for German young only.

The Black and Yellows wanted to build up their jewel carefully - but that wasn't enough for Brunner, as he now reveals to 'Sport Bild'.

The centre-forward therefore rejected several contract offers. BVB wanted to extend the right-footer's contract, which expires in 2025, and even improved the offer. From the beginning, however, Brunner was not interested in money, but in the sporting perspective and playing time with the professionals. Dortmund did not want to guarantee that to its youth player.

"Monaco showed me a clear, sporting path of how they plan to use me and develop me. This appreciation and clarity immediately convinced and impressed me. I had the feeling that they definitely wanted me. BVB's plan was to play in the U19 Youth League and the U23, as well as occasional professional training," explains Brunner.

-02 CF Kaspar of Furth II looks like next 02-onwards CF who might get promoted to relevant pros, this time with 2BL Furth.

Invitation from Zorniger for the U-23 goal scorer
Fürth's record scorer Kasper: beefy, down-to-earth - and soon with the pros?

Daniel Kasper is racing from record to record. The Fürth center forward has scored in all five league games of the U23 so far, recently scored his first four goals in the Regionalliga Bayern in almost three years and is the first player nationwide to have scored nine goals after five Regionalliga games.

Daniel Kasper is rocking the fourth league in the fast lane. The 22-year-old, who moved from Wormatia Worms in the fifth league to Kleeblatt in the summer, is rather uncomfortable with the hype surrounding him and is putting the brakes on his euphoria: "I primarily make sure that my game and that of the team work. Of course, as a striker I want to score goals. But I don't get up on Saturday and say to myself, now I have to score twice again to break the record."

The 1.88-meter giant, who was trained as a youth at Darmstadt 98, had already demonstrated his goal-scoring instinct in the previous season when he scored 21 goals for Wormatia Worms (Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz/Saar). There he also caught the eye of Fürth scouts, who tried very hard to get Kasper and were able to score points with powerful arguments: "The new coach Leo Haas, the people in charge and the great youth work in Fürth convinced me."

    Classic penalty area striker
The beefy attacker has since repaid the trust placed in him like clockwork, acting as a classic penalty area striker who anticipates opportunities and finishes quickly. "I see my strength in the box. You can always improve in all areas, especially in the technical area I still see room for improvement," Kasper is also aware of what he still needs to work on. The right-footer also takes responsibility on the pitch, scoring three goals from the penalty spot. To do this, he actively approached Daniel Adlung before the league opener and got the ex-professional's blessing.

Kasper proved that he is always at the service of the team during his four-goal gala in Buchbach. When the little cloverleaf was awarded its second penalty with the score at 4-0, he gave the ball to his teammate Denis Pfaffenrot: "Denis saved both penalties through his efforts. He deserved to take the penalty. That's why I was happy to let him go first."

    Invitation from Zorniger
The coaching team around professional coach Alexander Zorniger invited Kasper to training sessions with the professional squad for the first time this week, before he returns to the U23s on Thursday to prepare for the game on Saturday in Schweinfurt. First close-up insights into the world of professional football - Kasper would like to make the jump there one day.

Just like his idol from early childhood, Ioannis Amanatidis. Kasper accompanied his father and his brother to the home games of Frankfurt Eintracht from a young age, where the Greek goalscorer and captain became a role model for little Daniel. The fact that Amanatidis also played for the cloverleaf for two years at the start of his career was not the reason for Kasper to move to Franconia, as he admits with a laugh.

    Down to earth and reflective
Kasper is not stubborn anyway, instead he seems very down to earth and reflective. In addition to football, he is studying economics at the distance learning university and wants to create a second source of income, "as goals can quickly be thrown off track by injuries".

He is also always drawn to Worms and Wormatia, where after three years he has almost achieved cult status and continues to feel very connected to the club. His girlfriend is responsible for the club's social media, and her mother works in the office. Even the Worms media regularly report on Kasper's goals in Fürth. On Saturday he could give them the next opportunity if he also scores in the away game in Schweinfurt - and extends his series.

BVB are way too petty revenge mentality.

looks like the Moukoko to Betis is likely a no go because BVB demands $15-20M but every club is putting out less.

how is he worth that much with 2-3 XIs last season??? Doesn't make sense and more often then not only played scrap mins or unused bench.....he was BVB's 3rd choice CF last season, anyone think 3rd choice CFs cost $15-20M? What a joke, LOL.

and BVB continue to threaten to dump him to the stands......LMAO. What idiocy if he goes to the stand than his value will CRASH AND BURN NO QUESTION.

so what does this dumbass club gain from any of this outside of revenge???

imagine going from hyping him to moon and being all proud that he has SNT potential to getting triggered to the moon because he wants to leave and made it public that he's not happy with the shitty game time. To now the club is hijacking every transfer attempt in order to get revenge on the player.

I don't even get the fuss, the club pretends that doing this is blackmail, LOL. Its not blackmail nor do I think its unprofessional. What does professionalism have to do with this? In German clubs mind its unprofessional for one to speak out on anything. You need to STFU about everything and be happy. Its not like he even insulted the club or brass or coaching. Its someone who barely works and wants to work, LOL.

I'm curious to see what U21 does if Moukoko ends up staying at BVB and doesn't play. Its likely Di Salvo will be forced to leave him out until Winter.

Dortmund has done as little as possible to increase his value, and yet now they demand €15m+. If he doesn't leave why not use him, sitting in the stands is utterly pointless and petty.

at this point, its the German footy pettiness that has activated, where the public rant=axed forever at the club. When your axed for good by a club they won't reinstate you no matter what you do. Its similar to Low's blacklisting.

whats more awkward is that ALL reports for MONTHS that Moukoko wanted to stay and make his way into BVB but BVB was always intending on selling him. But because agent makes public statement, BVB gets outraged and pretend like they had no intention of selling him, LOL. Its all about image for this club, the statement just made them look bad but doesn't change their intention anyways.

what I'm curious is there no way to take this to court for Moukoko POV???
club threatens to send him to stand and do nothing with him. Its cringe when one sees reports that BVB doesn't even care if they have to pay him millions to be in stand they'll screw him over anyways. He needs to find a way to disolve his contract.

I mean, LOL, you'll pay him for doing nothing and reduce his market price by a SHIT TON but don't want to sell him for lower. They are just going to be losers in this.

    on topic of Moukoko,
where is Di Salvo in all of this? Clown always seems inactive when one needs him. Your XI CF in U21 Euro Qualifiers is at risk of being screwed by his own club out of petiness and crickets on his front.

    compare
Wuck when Brunner was suspended by BVB back in Fall, he instantly went and had talks with BVB and played a role in convincing the club to let him at U17 WC. He still stated back then that final decision is BVB's but did influence their decision.

more reason why I keep saying we lost Wuck to Germany Female SNT for NOTHING. Imagine instead of having Wuck as U21 coach we get the mediocre Di Salvo who flopped HARD his 1st U21 Euro tourney due to shitty selections, XIs, tactics etc.

So Mainz linked with a Brondby W/AM to replace Gruda, I mean why spend 6m or whatever on a 27 y/o who has never played in a top league when you literally have Nebel + Sieb already at the club? Why not trust them.

-02 RB Rosenboom getting close for 1BL XI debut for Kiel.
"Of course, he won't have any less confidence now than before the game," Rapp sees the logical consequence after Rosenboom's strong performance. "Anyone who has watched him can see that he is getting better step by step and is getting closer and closer to the first eleven."

The right-footer could possibly even be in the starting eleven for the upcoming Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim. "He is now definitely a candidate who can play. That's why we still have the option open," explained Rapp.

-02 CF Beier is candidate for his 1st 1BL BVB XI.
"With intelligent footballers, you don't need so much integration. I have the feeling that he was there straight away. He is ready and an important option, also for the weekend," explained the coach, who is keeping everything open: "We will make the decision after the two (remaining) units. Sure, he is a candidate, that's why we brought him in. He will be an important player for us.”

-04 CF Topp contender for Bremen XI 1BL debut.
At the press conference before the first matchday, Werder Bremen coach Ole Werner basically avoided committing to Keke Topp as a center forward in the starting eleven. However, he let it be known that he has a good chance of being used from the start. As for the euphoria surrounding the 20-year-old after his hat-trick in Cottbus, Werner nevertheless put the brakes on.

Topp has collected "arguments for himself" and continues to appear "focused". Now, in the game against FC Augsburg, he will face "a different caliber" in Jeffrey Gouweleeuw and Keven Schlotterbeck, which is why expectations of the new signing should not be set too high. "It makes a difference whether I'm fighting one-on-ones in the second division, whether I'm doing it in the cup against a third division team or whether I'm doing it week after week (in the Bundesliga)," said Werner.

In the long term, the Werder coach has "no doubts" about his player's suitability for the Bundesliga, but it is not to be expected that Topp will seamlessly continue his goal rate from the first competitive game.

-Serie A Lazio interested in 02 M Reitz of 1BL Gladbach.

1BL Heidenheim playing their B team for Conference League. The likely XI for the 1BL match over weekend is from bench, LOL. Can't blame them, 3 competitions for a club who played 1st ever 1BL last season is a lot, so priority will be 1BL.

-XI=04 GK Feller (pro and XI debut, both), 02 M Kerber (debut for 1BL club as he's Summer transfer)
    -Bench=05 AM/W Wanner, 04 M Janes

interesting to see yet ANOTHER GK make pro progress. I mentioned recently that Heidenheim needs to do something with him. Is he planned for European tourney??? If that's case lets hope that they make the GS round, so that he plays as much as possible. This also explains why for "random" reason he was playing a LOT of XI in preseason as well.

the pool of next gen GKs who seem to have relevant pro progress continues to be confirmed every month, LOL.

Why work so hard to qualify for Europe and then field a b team?

Was hoping to see Wanner make Euro debut.

Wanner is likely to be used as sub.

triple competition makes a season feel long, so one has to be careful with not overtiring the players. The Heidenheim team isn't that big or wide.

honestly I feel like most 1BL clubs are eh towards Conference League. They would make effort with CL+EL.
