    Will Call tickets

the box office will be open saturday... i'd suggest that you pick them up then if you can

on sunday will call will open at the same time as the parking lot... which is suppose to open at 10am

they will have all their windows open however, but there aren't too many will call pick-ups at patriot games

The Sports Radio station in Boston just said that the Revs called them pleading with those of you that have tickets waiting for them at the Will Call window to pick them up today or tomorrow. They also announced that they'll be opening the parking lots even earlier on Sunday to hopefully encourage people to show up early and get their freakin' tickets.

This has the potential to be a real nightmare....MLS/Kraft better spend some money on some bodies quick...

If the game sux, and folks had to wait until halftime to get their tix, those folks are going to be MLS-haters, and will take a long time to get over the experience...

Lets hope for back-n-forth, high scoring soccer and MLS fire team jumping all over this one..

    Bodies won't matter.

The Razor was never designed to support massive game day sales. The logistics and design don't work. They had trouble handling the large will call walk up for the season finale which only drew 20,000.

Hopefully the press will inform people in the Globe and Herald tomorrow of this situation.

I don't think there are more than 8 or 10 ticket sales windows and 4-6 will call windows for the whole stadium.

Well, obviouly, you got to set-up a temporary structure now (tent or tents or trailer or something), but you do need more bodies unless you expect everyone to wait within just a few lines....based on the current set-up, I don't see how they get the necessary thru-put..

Also, you can put out annoucements all you like, for various factors, you are going to have a large group that is not going to show up hours before to pick up tix.

Spend the money MLS, do it right...this is way too big an event to screw up.

The Public Service Announcements are a great way to tell the non-soccer crazy public that there is an important soccer game Sunday, and that if you want to get on the band-wagon, you better do it!

Agreed <Good way to generate publicity> True, but they still better focus-and quick- on creating a better customer service experience at the ticket distribution than they currently have set up.....

I got a better idea...how about soccer fans in New England buy tickets earlier than five days before the Championship and get the tickets via mail. I'm thrilled that there's going to be nearly 60,000 people there tomorrow, but the presale before last Saturday should have been higher than it was.

No one gives a flip about "who's responsibility is it"....Finally, finally folks give a damn about coming, and you are telling them, "oh, but you should have known about your interest X days ago?"

The baby explosions in soccer popularity are going to be like puberty- you will not know the day(s) it hits in advance. But MLS can really farwrk things up if they aren't prepared.

MLS has wanted this forever....pull out all the stops to make the customer experience a fine one...(including delaying start of game, if folks are still coming in stadium)...Don't start a game with 10-15k fans still in lines, etc.

I do fear a mini-fiasco, but hopefully MLS's recovery team has been in full-action mode (since its been clear now for what, oh 4/5 days ago that there was going to be an enormous crowd). That was plenty of time to come up with alternate, workable solutions here, and if a number of first-time fans have a bad customer ticket experience, blame MLS...
