I have a wager with my friend that the Revs will get at leat 15,000 fans for Sunday's match. As much as I hate to admit it, I had tickets for the first two playoff mathes, but couldn't make it to the Boro. I am optimistic that there are many people like me and we will have a good crowd on hand to support our boys. I am also optimistic that the Pats game will not deter people from going, as I don't think that any true Revs fan could stay away from a weekend playoff game. I can't see us winning this series if we don't get three points from this match.
I know a bunch of people going to this one who couldn't make the midweek games. How about a crowd just about equal to our average attendance. 17,000
Based on what Ticketmaste is offering as of now, it's doubtful it'll be more than 10,000. Hope I'm wrong.
I have always wondered how people come to the conclusion of how many tickets sold by seeing what ticketmaster is still selling. My prediction 11,676
FWIW My group of four season ticket holders is nearly tripling in size for tomorrow's match, but I'd keep my estimate realistic and say between 9-10,500. Hope I'm pleasantly suprised!!! To our faithful in the fort: Bring on the noise! We'll be doing what we can in other sections (as long as some unitiated doesn't tell me to sit down and shut up again.) It won't be as much fun without Chicago's Legion of Disdain, but I'll try to come up with something against Cunnigham and Martino.
What really matters is that the fans who do show give the REVS all the support they need. For all those people who make comments about the less than stellar attendance for the playoffs, keep your comments to yourselves. Revolution Fans have endured so much that they don't need some troll giving them a hard time. Good luck to Revolution today. I hope today's game is entertaining.
