On a more serious note. One of the promotions for today's game is US Soccer Foundation Passback program. If you have used soccer equipment that you can donate, please bring it to the game. The collection bins are located outside gate "0". It might even be tax deductible contribution.

Well, that's a lot better than the past few games. Still, 12,000 in the supposedly best time slot in the best summer weather is troubling. How're they going to do in Bridgeview when many people have no clue as to where it is and how to get there? If I were Mayor Landrue I'd be a little nervous. With the Fire drawing flies and so many music venues around and new ones coming on board (Northerly Island) it seems that business may not be all that it's cracked up to be. Maybe they know what they're doing.
