When Danillo came in he made a bad pass to Bruno and he was like ''WTF?'' look...right at him.

He seems more mature this time around, I hope it works

So they're gonna put all their marbles have on Danilo and Mendivil? Doesn't sound too smart to me.

Brindisi has been rotating his people since the start of the season.

Everyone is equally dangerous. Danilo looked solid gainst San Luis, theyve been missing a range shooter

I think that Lanus coach is the same clown who said that Pachuca was the easiest team Lanus had faced when they played in Copa Sudamericana last year (he said that after they tied or lost to Pachuca). We all know what happened, the "easiest" team ended up winning the whole damn tournament.

    His stupid opinions don't matter.

So who do you think we'll play in the next round?

I would like to see Boca go home via disqualification.

So its going to be Atlas vs Cruzeiro...going to be tough.

I wish we would have Boca with the ban and all, but Cruzeiro will do.

Anybody else think that Jorge Hernandez kid is garbage? All he ever does is get yellow carded for stupid shit or pick fights.

Well he has been playing bad as of late but over all he is a really good player with a future. I have faith that he'll come around that and show his true talent. He was playing an akward position last night he usually plays D-Mid so that could be it.

Still playing below his level at this moment though.

Close game last night but what ever team comes next lets take every game 1 at a time.

i don't remember the last time a brazilian team eliminated boca jrs from the libertadores. that includes a 5-0 win over gremio in the 07 final, and a 5-1 win over santos in the 03 final. they beat world champions internacional in the sudamericana twice the two years they were banned from libertadores, and during one of those years beat Sao Paulo in the Recopa.

while i'm no boca fan, it's hard to say they pay off with their name when you have a recent history like this:

    07 - copa libertadores champion
    06 - recopa champion
    05 - sudamericana champion/recopa champion
    04 - libertadores runner up/sudamericana champion
    03 - libertadores champion
    01- libertadores champion
    00 - libertadores champion

If you get intimidated by them, its your thing.

They dont play a great game, they often resemble the nads style of play. Big teams dont play that ugly. The refs are very lenient when they play in their candy box.

and having a 23 player team allows you to play 2 tourneys

    Back to topic

Hernadez sucks, last saturday he did alright, but last night he was late on every play.

Brindisi was saving Valdez because he doesnt want him to get a yellow, but he did anyways, so it looks like he'll be playing against Necaxa

He has always played well, its the team that works well together and has really played well as a whole.

He does have his bad games though. Him and Robles are above the rest of the nationals and imo have earned a cap

Great result today for Atlas in their 2-2 tie with boca, Despite being down in the second half and boca pressuring they fought and earned and good result, Gotta give it up to Jorge bava who had a great game

The whole backline kept an amazing order and the pressing was amazing.

Negro had one of his best games ever. Robles came off injured, but he should recover in time. The way the whole team understanded the goal and worked for it is inspiring.

They finally have a week to work, which could be an advantage.

Riquelme is a piece of overrated crap, thats why he would rather play over here than fight it out in Europe. A la Landon lol (tampoco but close :p).

That is what I am saying! But don't go say that in the Copa Libertadores Thread because all the Boca fans come out and Copy and Paste everything they can find on Wikipedia on that hot garbage (Riquelme) and his mediocre accomplishments.

Atlas either 1-1 or 2-1 in Guadalajara!
