If they didn't aim for the play-offs, why did they sell 10 games in their season ticket package? I've said this before, if they had come out at the beginning of the season and said "Look, we don't have a ton of cash, so we have to go cheap and we will be the underdog, so we really need your help", I would have completely supported that. But the whole time, they kept saying that there was some master plan, and that they were trying to capitalize on other teams losing players during the world cup. I had hoped for more honesty earlier in the season. Oh well.
How long until they are featured as Sprints underdog team http://now.sprint.com/alltogethernow/?pid=6 They could use all the encouragement they can get
I can sympathize. But that strategy was never going to work. We let go of an (almost) world class roster of players (many of them now lighting up the stage in the WWC) and replaced our coach with the fitness coach. Considering we finished in last place last season, there was no way we were going to do better this season.
