The Beat might play in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the soccer festival...

I see the tie-in to Minnesota with Bri, but I was really hoping they would play at SAS. Oh well, I guess I should be happy that they are playing at all.

I'd go to minneapolis to see some versionof the Beat... but it looks like Atlanta will not be one of the festival cities.

Good to see Miss Parlow in on the pre-olympic action. She was mentioned in the paper the other day. Be nice if she had a club to be with though. I also miss the Beat even though I am not from Atlanta and therefore am not acquaintances of any of them (met Charmaine once, that's it, when the Beat visited WAS, which is closer to me). Be neat to be in a WUSA town; they're neat people.

The thread regarding this game indicates that the Beat may be playing in Clemson, SC. in early April vs the Clemson University Lady Tigers.

It is good to see that the dream is still alive. Though I am far away, my heart as well as my daughter's is with the Beat. With any luck, in about 20 years, my little girl will be a Beat player. :)

    WAR BEAT!!!

But seriously, her team is doing very well this season. They're sitting in first place in their state bracket.

    I'll be there!

I have tickets plus a press pass. I'll probably spend one half at field level taking pictures and the other in my seat.

They have. Conny is doing great as well! She is playing amazing and being the star on the team of course!

    The site is www.ffc-turbine.de

They are a great team and from the people I have met they seem like super cool fans. I think the Beat and Turbine fans would all get along Great!

From what some one told me over there. Nancy has a national team call up!

Looks like the usual Beat players got picked. Barring injury, I think that Scurry is a lock to make the Oly04 team. Bivens is very much "on the bubble." With her speed issues, Parlow might be considered surplus talent now that Wambach has cemented to role as the teams powerful target striker.
