I don’t feel too bad for him. That guy made a pretty decent career out of some decidedly mediocre talent, even in his good Columbus years.
I checked his Wiki page and you're right about mediocre. God, just a few months ago were had guys like Damn, Araujo, Berry, Etienne... starting. Maybe we can still get Ibarra back.
Cuatro a uno with our two stars scoring, Mosquera maybe getting some confidence for the home stretch, and really good team play overall. If we can shore up the occasional defensive lapses, we could do a deep playoff run.
I actually think Berry might be good in a different position. His work rate is good, he has foot skills, and he seems to make good decisions. He’s just slow, doesn’t make runs, and can’t shoot. He’s tall, though, so maybe a switch to center defender?
That was huge since Atlanta finishes with Columbus, Philly, and Cincy. Odds still against them hosting, but seeing as Atlanta might face one of them in the postseason form will matter in how they make their opponents uneasy.
Sounds like Jon Koncack. BTW, Atlanta would be sitting second and with a chance to win the conference if they were in the West.
