Atlanta can clinch a playoff spot with a win, but the team would clearly love to move up the standings and possibly host such a match. First order of business is getting in, though, and doing so with health and form intact. A win tonight against a "weaker" team would go a long way in that regard, knowing who's left on the schedule.
Unsure. Have been out of town and not had time to check news reports. Guzan is starting, as is Saba. I, however, am not: After spending the week in Savannah I'm staying home to do chores and tend to my dad.
Not sure who decided dark gray vs black with light spray paint was an OK shirt combination, but they were incorrect. Hard to tell the teams apart tonight.
26' 0-0 Stop me if you've heard this before: Atlanta bossing possession but nothing substantive to show for it.
Indeed! Love being proved wrong in such circumstances. 2-0! Silva and Almada both tally within 4 minutes.
On field they ruled offside, but they're checking it... Did Montreal intentionally play it back. They did! Goal! 3-1!
Waterman going off for Montreal for a foul on Thiare. Agree with commentary that it's a harsh straight red, but he was on a yellow either way.
4-1! Mosquera, who'd been less than great since coming on, makes the right choice in feeding Almada on a break, who passes back and Mosquera hits it home.
