Hey all, haven't posted on this forum since -- shit, the Dallas Burn was the Dallas Burn. I'm still pissed about them moving up to Frisco.

In any case, I put the tiny deposit on a couple of season tickets and am now in the 1841 Founders Club! CSB.

    So now what?

I'm thinking things need to start happening quickly if the first game is less than a year away?

    Any update on this team?

Still seems heavily into the marketing mode but I'm assuming that some actual movement on rosters, etc. will start to take shape.

NEWS: Atlético Dallas Names Jump as Founding Ticketing and Fan Experience Platform - Atlético Dallas

With 300 days to go before season starts they will seemingly have to move fast.

I'm older than most, but a Dallas Burn feel for the first season will be fine with me.

They really seem to be trying to build up from the youth side and the marketing is hispanic oriented, which is great since they clearly want to be the non-FC Dallas, Fair Park team. The facebook page will probably most fairly represents the organic growth of the team, more than the flashy home page.

Ticket selection allegedly takes place in late July.

This does feel very much like Dallas Burn redux. Although I'd be just as happy with a smaller opening day crowd, even without Hugo Sanchez.

On April 14, 1996, the Dallas Burn played their first game, defeating the San Jose Clash in a shootout win in front of a crowd of 27,779 fans at the Cotton Bowl.
