The base is there for a very good young team. We are likely to lose Yeste in addition to Etxe, but with Llorente, Martinez, Amorebieta, San Jose, Muniain, and Susaeta, Bilbao has top 10 talent. As always, the question is, will they keep it?
Yup, Llorente and Martinez will be on display in the World Cup so we'll see what happens. I think a European spot is a must next season.
uh - oh as a new fan i don't like hearing that. i am a fan of enough teams that make stupid decisions(sheffield wednesday/tottenham). hopnig Spain or the U.S.(don't laugh) will win it all... agreed on the future for us though. looks bright.

Javi Martinez is getting some press. Silly season rumors possibly, but the way Barcelona spends money these days... http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/2...in-hunt-for-athletic-bilbao-ace-javi-martinez Not to mention, Madrid... http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5h_2LYKhkv7OQFEaSZa8NX-sfUxAg
And perhaps the biggest offseason news of all, the end of an era, the beginning of a new - the San Mamés Barria construction is officially underway: http://www.eitb.com/sports/en/detail/428983/bilbaos-san-mames-barria-gets-underway/ If you have not seen plans, check them out online. This is going to be one cool stadium. It has to be. La Catedral has a special place in our hearts, and no half-assed replacement stadium will cut it.
new signing Igor Martinez was the "crown jewel" of Alaves. I don't expect too many more signings. And that stadium looks awesome
