    Atalanta 1 - 4 Milan
    Rivaldo 15 (M), Sala 29 (A), Tomasson 40 (M), Pirlo pen 65, 80 (M)

Atalanta: Taibi; Natali, Carrera (Gautieri 59), Sala; Zenoni, Zauri, Berretta, Dabo (Foglio 77), Bellini; Pià (Comandini 68), Bianchi

Milan: Dida; Simic (Helveg 68), Nesta, Maldini, Kaladze; Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf; Rui Costa (Ambrosini 74); Tomasson, Rivaldo (Serginho 77)

    Ref: Paparesta

Another great performance from Milan today and especially Rui Costa, Pirlo, and Seedorf who dominated midfield. Rui Costa should have had a hattrick but his finishing let him down today. Tomasson replaced Inzaghi up top and really didn't have a great game although he did score his first goal in the red and black. Rivaldo also scored his first goal for Milan today with a great shot from just outside the box. I think he is starting to fit better into the Milan midfield now.

Now we play Bayern on Wednesday and there is a strong possibility that Sheva will play. I'm drooling at what Sheva might be able to do in this Milan team. Especially if he gets the chances that Tomasson got today and Pippo has gotten all year. It could be frightening.

    FORZA MILAN!!!

I just watch the news and I have to say two things:
What a magnanimous free kick by Pirlo but also what a fake pk awarded to score the third!

The PK awarded for the foul on Rui Costa was a good call. Rui Costa's foot was clipped as he was going towards goal which caused him to fall in the box. I think you are thinking about the free kick awarded to Milan at the end of the half when Pirlo just fell in the box. He obviously dove in the box and I think the ref realized it when he didn't let Milan take the free kick as he blew the whistle for halftime before Pirlo could even take the kick.

And Pirlo's kick was as perfect a free kick as you are going to see. It was an unstoppable shot off the underside of the crossbar. Milan can now rival Real Madrid for the best trio of free kick takers in the world. Rui, Pirlo, and Rivaldo against Zidane, Figo, and Roberto Carlos. Take you pick.

well, as I told you before I have no Serie A cverage this season, so I just saw the highlights, I just remember a dive (and a really bad one)

BTW eventhough I'm a bianconeri I take the milano trio over the blancos putos anytime!!! As a good blaugrana fan I hate them enough to pick another team over them!!! :D

We just seem to be getting more impressive every outing!

We put 4 in, could easily have been 6 or so, and all this is without Sheva and Inzaghi!

The offensive options are everywhere, just everywhere!

It's great to see Milan with another win. 17 goals from 5 games is pretty good. Only 2 goals allowed is even better.

Too bad to see Atalanta off to a crappy start. They're a good lil' club that can and should do better.
