Personally i'm not in a team, i will start in a low quality league in sweden when my injuries have healed though. I'm curious in how high the players on this forum play soccer, do we have any professional players? thejaccen
First! Not currently playing (starting law school soon). The highest level I've played is intramural at San Diego State University. I get the impression we have a few here who are semi-pro.
I hate these type of threads - it's full of people boasting about how good they are and how they're accomplished at more things than Ronaldo.
I play in a mens league that plays around my area, as well as a rec indoor team, and pick up/intramural at NCSU occasionaly. I missed my chance to play semi-pro
This year, I was playing for the A team at my club in 18/2's around my area, so I was basically playing local league. Serious, but fun at the same time.
Any league where you don't have to try out is fun, try out for some good teams if your skill level is high
Hey what's up. I have played in the MLS and NASL, however after suffering a stress fracture in my hip I was forced to retire.
I play in a competitive over 30 travel league spring and fall and open indoor in the winter. Or I was untill I tore up my knee. A few more months of PT will see me back to the field though.
Have you ever played in the O-30's in the Albany area? Almost all the teams in the league are in the Clifton Park or Albany area. Just curious. Saw one of the O-40 games one time that was on an adjacent field at Maalwyck park in Scotia. Glad to know that option is there, when I'm like 60. Or maybe in 18 months when the other knee goes.
Small private school where out team is the whole school and have no subs and either tie or lose every game to teams that can sub out the entire team
I play on the girls high school (Grade 8-12) recreation team since it's the only club in my town. I hope to play on a varsity team after I graduate.
