No poll, no apology. Winning is fun! Will it continue? Another very good test. National TV game, the Fire getting well deserved attention. Obviously, Juninho for McCarty will be the big lineup change. Our CBs vs their forward will be a huge factor. Heat could be a factor. Needless to say, am really looking forward to this match.
Doh! Another factor in our favor. Plus, a 9 day break for our guys. Plus, Kaka is questionable. Definitely, a winnable game.
Twitter says Juninho might not travel. What if he doesn't travel because of his wife's approaching due date?— Sziszek (@TrueMartyParty) June 2, 2017 What if he doesn't travel because of his wife's approaching due date? — UnMundoSzinFronteras (@TrueMartyParty) June 2, 2017
Polsters passing and style of play is more Dax-like. Juninho is a solid pro and I don't know how much practice time Matt has gotten in the center. But I'm strangely interested in seeing Polster get the nod... Only problem is that I think Harrington gets the start at RB in this scenario as Drew would be relief at either RB or CM.
Durnit will be travelling and not quite likely to make the hotel by game time. Hope the Fire can play well. I actually would like to see Polster stay at RB and some other mid in the middle to replace Dax if no Juninho..including Conner. Go Fire!
There is a great Pole on Showtime right now. Andrzej Fanfara is fighting Adonis Stevenson For those of you not boxing fans, Fanfara is a Polish light heavyweight fighter and former WBC titleholder, who fights out of Chicago. Prior to his stunning 1 round destruction at the hands of Joe Smith, Jr (upset of the year) in June last summer, he had a 15 fight win streak at the UIC Pavilion. He has also fought at Comisky Park (f' the corporate name), Aragon and few other places around. His demolishing of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr at the Home Depot Center was a thing of beauty. His fight against Nathan Cleverly was amazing, setting light heavyweight records for the number of punches thrown and landed.
Spoiler alert. Fanfara was absolutely destroyed tonight. Barely made it out of the first and only lasted 38 seconds into the second. Dreadful performance.
Catching a break, temperature wise. No such luck, WRT humidity though. Rain definitely possible. http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/orlando-fl/32801/hourly-weather-forecast/328169?hour=19
Awesome for Juninho and family . Nice to see Polster and Drew get the start - let's see if we have versatility and depth at those spots to make a run.
We can win this. I watched Orlando play DC on Wednesday and they were actually exposed several times by a pretty weak DC offense (even though Orlando won 2-0).
Very few teams in any sport expect guys to play or travel when it's right at the due date. I think Armas missed a game due to "false alarm" delivery in the early years ( I think it was him.. and if remember right baby was born two days later)
Should be 2x wins in a row on the road. Not sure if it's the red wine or the fact that the fire are actually good talking but, optimistic.
We gotta get as many points as we can. Most of the strong teams make a push post Gold Cup and our schedule is somewhat easier now.
Who? I have like severe stage fright and drank like 3/4 a bottle of wine but, feel like I would rather listen to myself call the game rather than dan kelly and frank klopas. I'd rather hellen keller call the game tbh. Stop complaining
