    According to my sources the Metro have been getting similar letters every year since '96!

    Let's hope no team in the US ever has to. That's one part of the game we can all do without.

    Maybe that's why we haven't qualified for the playoffs in three years. Our players were afraid.

    my brother-in-law plays professionally in europe and he got a bunch a threats this year after fouling a guy in their derby match. it was so bad the papers wrote about it and the tv stations came and talked to him about it.

    it is almost everywhere but here, tremendous violence attached to the game. i recall after we beat argentina at rfk there being some report a guy killed himself in argentina after our win.
