On a related note, if our game hadn't been the only game going on at the time (the only game of the day really) then NBC would've likely cut away immediately after FT to go to the last 30 seconds of some match which was all but decided, and which we didn't choose to watch in the first place... depriving us of any post-match scenes, which to a true fan can be some of the most joyous gratifying moments of a victory. Those immediate cutaways at FT are a production feature that NBC didn't used to do so much. But in the last year or so they seem to do it automatically. As if that's dramatically improving our viewing experience. I beg to differ.
is this bullshit supposed to be a thing now? 1505261153554944003 is not a valid tweet id i don't ever want to see any of these bastards celebrate a fucking thing again. ever. goal? STFU and go to halfway line. win? fuck right off to the dressing room.
Maybe, and stay with me here, if the team now has a history of celebrating results, its might NOT be about the squibs we just beat, and it MIGHT be about the team itself?
so . . . 😳 “The way Arsenal celebrated it was like they’d won the Champions League!”👀 “The scenes from the players, it was like they’d won the league. I think they over did the celebrations.”Gabby Agbonlahor wasn’t happy with Arsenal’s celebrations at FT yesterday pic.twitter.com/KO85fLWZVz— talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) March 20, 2022 huh. but . . . 1505561781380567047 is not a valid tweet id
Here's something that I just learned about... put a smile on my face... “We’ve got Super Mik Arteta! He knows exactly what we need… Kieran at the back, Gabi in attack, Arsenal are on their way to Champions League!"
Dermot Gallagher (ex-referee) on Xhaka’s yellow card against Aston Villa despite it being his first foul: “It was one that had been coming, I think that’s why he gets it. It's not that he's picked on, as you put it.” [Sky] #afc pic.twitter.com/uMHkSGH2zC— afcstuff (@afcstuff) March 21, 2022 ah, yes. it'd absolutely been coming. those first "persistent" foul of the half are simply the worst.
Some weird attacks on Arsenal lately until I realised I have seen it before in Aussie rules. Sleeping giant is stirring. And its scaring the shit out of some clubs. So all of a sudden, you have pissants from clubs like Wolves and Villa, who aren't progressing in anyway, taking shots. Meanwhile we dropped off, changed manager, and are clearly building something that is looking likely to have us in the Champions league.
