Winning this game, away against a desperate team after a big win against a good team, is also an important barometer of our progress under Arteta. Being competitive against the good teams is all well and good, but it's even more important to swat the bad teams aside, especially on their patch.

I’m still on vaca in Down East Maine so looks like I’ll be able to do my bit to continue the win streak by not watching this one live once again.

Maybe stream it later on my phone with the whopping 1.5mbps DSL they have here!

Form matters and winning needs to be a designed mentality. Need the lads to pursue this with vigor not just out of ambition on the table but more in the vein of "We're Arsenal! We're supposed to win!" That would go a long way in getting more of the players on board.

Excellent chance for both Xhaka and Ceballos to dignify their futures, at Arsenal or wherever, also. They should be able to dictate the flow of this match, and doing so would speak volumes of their progress as players.

    C'mon lads! Up the Gunners!

kind of a weird lineup today, especially up top. Not sure I've ever seen Eddie play wing but I guess if he and PEA are filling the half spaces so Saka & Cedric can provide width I guess it is ok.

Watford being hammered by Citeh ATM, which means Villa have hope of climbing out of drop zone if the win today.

I don't see any way they play Laca on the wing. If one of he and Eddie needs to play wing it should be Eddie with his speed.

Graphic above appears to list in order by position. Based on that its either Eddie & PEA on the wings or Eddie & Laca.

Nelson have an injury? He would be the natural fit to slot in on the right but he wasn't in the squad against City or in the squad today.

Guys on the broadcast think we are playing 4-3-3

    PEA - Laca - Eddie
    Saka - Lucas - Dani
    Kola - Luiz - Holding - Cedric

What happened to ‘no chance’ and a 3-0 loss prediction? Come one, bear, everybody else is doing their part.

Apparently a "Kroenke out!" banner is flying over the match.

Dani has been VERY active so far. Helped bail the defense out of a press a couple times and all over the MF. Like the effort.

This is a classic display of midtableness from both sides. One team is just tall and mediocre, the other is trying to play a game they're not good enough to play.

I'm personally thrilled to see him loaf around the Arsenal right flank until he's in his mid-30s.
