anyone know much about the teams in the 1st division, particularly kirati Aoepel, somewhere near galolei. nothern city near Israel/lebanon border.
Re: 1st division league question What club are you reffering to? Hapoel Kiryat Shemona? That is the only first division team even close to the Lebanese border with Israel.
that sounds right Yes that is the team... my cousin was just loaned from Maccabi Tel Aviv, to Kiryat there 2 weeks ago. He's a forward, are there any english sites that would have updates on there scores? It was easier to follow his progress when he was at Maccabi Tel Aviv, but this league and the team seems hard to get info on. Do any of you guys follow the 1st division league in Israel?
Re: 1st division league question His next match will be broadcasted live on Friday in the United States of America on the Israeli Network.
Great Thanks KHYS. Unfortunately I dont have the Israeli Network... are there any websites to follow the 1st division Israeli league? I appreciate all your info KHYS.
Re: 1st division league question The match was on channel 1 today in Israel. I taped it but I forgot to look out for your cousin.
Yeah that is him, Asaf Crispis. Do you know the result of the game this past saturday? What are the chances of Kiryat promotion into the Israeli Premiere league?
Hapoel Kiryat Shemona 1-1 Maccabi Ahi Nazareth [R] Hapoel Kiryat Shemona 1-1 Maccabi Ahi Nazareth (H/T: 0-0) The match was held this past Friday. The match started nine(9) minutes late due to a lack of proper medical staff and an ambulance at the match. Assaf Crispis came on in the 46th minute in front of the 1,500 fans in Kiryat Shemona. The 1,500 people who showed up couldn't seem to get Hapoel going as they faced tough rain conditions, but the snow did not make it's way from Mount Hermon. Six(6) minutes after Ahi Nazareth took a 1-0 lead, Shalom Akiva shot a beautiful ball which struck Assaf Crispis and landed in the back of the net. Assaf Crispis was credited with the goal and it is his second so far since joining Kiryat Shemona. He was rated a six(6) out of ten(10) by Yediot Aharonot. That translates to an average/well score.
Kyhs Thanks for the update. 1500 in attendance, wow... from being there to play against Ajax in front of 30,000 to playing in front of 1500. what are the chances over in the Israeli leagues when your put on loan, that you ever really make it back to your original club?
