Most of my job consists of me sitting in front of a computer and I am on bigsoccer a lot so I figure why not help other soccer fans with questions about getting into college. The majority of my experience is within proprietary, for-profit programs. However, I am currently at Kendall College in Chicago and it is known for its culinary, hospitality, and business programs. If you have any questions about college admissions from a parent or student perspective, feel free to ask here. If I can't answer it, we can just talk about soccer then.
This is a very generous offer (I say this in all sincerity). However, as someone who also works in education, I really wonder if it's wise for you to be so specific about where you work.
Seconded. I don't know the rules at Tobin's college, but one place I used to work had specific regulations about commenting on internet sites (during work hours, and in some cases off work hours). Which is one of the reasons why "Wankler" is nowhere near my real name. The administration was concerned that there be only a handful of official spokespersons for the college, and these rules covered interviews as well as website postings. On the other hand, given how challenging recruiting is these days, Tobin's administration might applaud his initiative...
If you want to remove the college info, that would be fine. However, I am happy to answer questions about schools I do and don't work for. I'll be fine and thanks for your concerns.
