a couple of debutants, 3 olympic players, only 3 regular players etc.. It was no where near a full squad in that sense.

Errr....i think you might have gone a bit over the top with that comment. Next time, watch the game before typing such nonsense.

June 5th 2007 Kirin Cup in Japan

    Japan 0 - 0 Columbia

Japan and Columbia fought head-to-head. The frist half looked pretty even
to me. Japan got the upper hand in the second half but the final score was
0-0. Not a spectacular result, but pretty encouraging and solid to me.

    5.6 Kuwait - Portugal 1-1

This match seem to be accepted as official match by Kuwait FA and FIFA.

Tomorrow our Olympic team will play against Jordan NT instead of our NT
Vieira 1st excuse… the team didn’t complete yet

Our Olympic team Players are very tired (yesterday we played against North Korea) so we may play a "show match"
    "Mobarah este3ra`9iyah"

Yep, Kuwait agreed to let Al-Salmiyah represent Kuwait, as they thought they would have a better chance against Portugal than the Kuwait national team (probably because of more time spent together, or something). Anyway, seems they were right. Al-Salmiyah played in their normal uniforms, but the match counts as a FIFA international for Kuwait. Weird, but true. Al-Salmiyah was not allowed to play any foreign players in the match, so that it could count as an international match.

BTW - Singapore v North Korea on 24th June is a bit strange, since the final of the EAFF Cup qualifiers in Macao will be played on the same day, and North Korea will, barring miracles, be playing in the final. So, will North Korea send a B-Team to the EAFF Qualifiers? I think that to beat Macao and Mongolia, they won't need their full team, but they may need it for the final, probably against Hong Kong, as there is a slight chance that Hong Kong could spring a shock.

Iraq vs. Jordan match really jinxed
Our Olympic team coach refused to play this match too

So our NT assistance Raheem Hameed will choose a few Player from the NT and the Olympic team and play against Jordan
