In case you wanna see some Futsal, Nagoya Oceans is playing the AFC club semifinal (Futsal's AFC Champions League if you want) live on youtube.
had to cut stuff both because it was getting too polarized, and both because if some flame happens again now I'll just have to lock the other thread.
Thai player Teerasil Dangda was starting for Almeria in the cup against Real Betis tonight. Opened the stream to take a look, and he scores a pretty nice goal.
Toshiya Miura is now the manager of Vietnam national team. And Vietnam is playing well so far in ASEAN Football Championship(Suzuki Cup). Wish them good luck.
That's natural, but it's interesting because it makes the point on the state of ASEAN football. Unsuprisingly Vietnam and Thailand seem to be the ones mostly growing up. (in 2010 Thailand wouldn't even make it out of the group lol)
They drew with Vietnam and were defeated by Philippines, so were eliminated in group stage. Philippines is interesting. So far their success comes much form naturalized players, though they seems to have Philippine blood. But if football becomes popular in Philippines, they can produce talents from their own soil. I think Philippine and Mexico have something in common. Being originaly Asian blood, then dominated by Spain, and then influenced by America. And they are both very good at boxing. Haha.
I'm confused as to why Javier Patiño Lachica, one of the best strikers of the Thai league, which is philippino, wasn't called up ?
Amazing atmosphere in last week AFF Suzuki cup (Malaysia vs Thailand) Malaysia clinch 3-2 victory over Thailand but lose 3-4 on aggregate. The final held in Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Saturday was witnessed by almost 110,000 fans, it's one of the biggest crowds in Asian football history. - Video of Malaysian ultras football supporters chanting "Ayuh Malaysiaku" (Come on Malaysia) during AFF Suzuki Cup Final held on Saturday. This song was originated from the solidarity campaign for telethon conducted in Chile back in 1996 with the original lyrics "Vamos, vamos chilenos, que esta noche, lo vamos a lograr". (ENGLISH : Come on, come on Chileans, tonight we are going to succeed)
Samurai Warrior Bahrain had a Nigerian striker some years ago, I don't remember well his name, but anyway the question is if he will be at Asian Cup with Bahrain?
You mean Jaycee John Okwunwanne? He isn't selected for a long time so no I don't expect him to be there.
Yes, him. Mda, he didn't played any single match for his Qatari team in this season, but in the last season scored some goals for Al Kharitiyath. Maybe he is injured.
