I'm personally a big uniform/jersey junkie :D just thought I'd start a thread discussing about club/national team jerseys...

My personal fav jersey with asian teams is probably the Japanese NT jersey that they wore in Asian Cup 2000... I really love the design on that one. Their confederation cup jersey looked really nice as well. Japan always has the nicest jersey out of all Asian NT teams... haha

I like current Korean NT jersey as well, although it can be more of a true red... but I like the design of it. Korean jersey of WCQ for WC98 I really liked as well. But all other Korean NT jerseys... bleh...

China's and Saudi's Jerseys are quite sharp as well, but I think it'd be good if they did something extra creative with the design as they look identical except for the colour and the emblem (Japan has adidas as well and they were bit different from the generic adidas design)

Iran's look alright... if not bit too plain... and UAE's Umbro-designed one looks pretty nice.

As for the club kits, two of my personal fav kits are Suwon and Urawa.

The F. Marinos kit last year was superb! I don't have a pic but it was posted here before the board went down. It had a great black and blue color scheme. This year's kit is not as nearly as interesting.

    BTW, worst kit... S-Pulse (naturally!!)

The current Korean NT kit is my personal fav. Especially the colors of the away jersey.

I really like the Esteglhal club jersey. I think their emblem patch is the most sophisticated of all Asian clubs.

The dolphin is an awesome touch. Pure class.

they have 2 emblems (dont ask me why,) one is with the 2 dolphins, and the other can be seen on the blue EsEs jersey.

I'm always conflicted on the Japanese jersies. They are either too much stuff going on in the design without much simplicity or there are some mismatching stuff going on.

Like the current Japanese NT home jersey has that ugly gray splotch that resembles a cod piece.

There 98 WC jersey could have been very clean, simple, and stylish had those hot rod micro machines flames were removed from the shirt and shorts. It owuld have been better if they just had those flames patched on their sock. The South Korean Rapido jersey of WC94 tried the color patterns on the sock/shirt/shorts but didn't really work, so I never understood why the 98 Japanese NT kit did so when it didnt look right the first time it was attempted.

Anyways, my other fav NT kit aside from other Asian nations are the England home, away, alternate kits.

The worst Asian club kit is definitely Seongnam Ilhwa Junma. Hey Seongnam, Brazil's national flag called and it wants its colors back.

    No man, top this!

The picture doesn't do the jersey justice... you have to see 10 players on the field wearing the nasty kit in order to appreciate the true ugliness.

    Why isn't the tag working?

I actually liked the Japanese white-gray alternates at the 02 WC. It made the white parts look even whiter which was pretty cool, like in the Belgium game.

I have liked the Korea and Japan NT jerseys from 98 on, my favorite is still the 2000 NT Asia Cup jersey, which I have 3 of (1 is long sleeve player quality jersey that cost me $150).

I like the away white Suwon jersey this year. Very nice, especially with the Samsung sponsor. Anyone know where I can get one by the way? This year's Pohang Steelers jersey looks pretty rough.

And as I mentioned before, I hate Korea's NT jerseys. White one isn't as bad, but the pink/magenta whatever the hell you wanna call it it just rough. Japan's white away is nice although the blue looks a little weird. I've liked Japan's jerseys in the past, especially the one before the current one.

As for other clubs not in Asia, gotta love the Arsenal red Dreamcast from last year. Maybe I'm a little biased being an Arsenal fan but man did I love those jerseys. I could go on about other teams but I won't bore you guys.

Oh and for anyone who might care, the new Mets batting practice jerseys make me want to cry.

How many jerseys do you guys own anyway? And this can include whatever jerseys you want be it soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey, football. Just wondering.

In really like the current Japanese uniform because it's clean and simple. I thought the 2001 Confed Cup uni was a little busy and the 2000 Asian Cup uni was okay.

I also like the current Korea jersey. I know some people hate the pink, but it looks great on TV, I think.

    Jerseys I own:
    2002 adidas Japan
    1998-99 Lotto Parma
1998-99 Reebok Liverpool Away Long Sleeve (white w/ red stripes on sleeves)
    1997-98 Reebok Liverpool Away (yellow)
    1999? Umbro Paramanense (Brazil)
1998 adidas Newcastle Away (blue w/Newcastle skyline inside the Newcastle Brown Ale star)

I wish I owned J-League jerseys but I haven't found one that I like, and I can't justify spending thousands of yens on something that doesn't look good.

That said, I like Yokohama Marinos' 10th anniversary jersey. Too bad I don't like Yokohama.

Yeah, I know I have a lot more non-soccer jerseys, but with some hard work and dedication, I'm hoping to change that. Anyone know where I can get a Suwon Bluewings jersey? That's a sweet jersey.

I like some kits, but most of any league jersies have ugly a-ss sponsor logos on them so I usually stick with team training apparel, hats, beanies, and some jerseys where the sponsor logos aren't lame.

these are the non-South Korea NT ones I own.
