He obviously has never been to a Galaxy game.

A beautiful gathering of races, creeds, colors and love for the team.

    Yep.

That thought did cross my mind as I read the article, having lived in SoCal for less than a year...very diverse part of America and lots of intermarriages. The only other part of the world that I have been to that had as much intermarriage and openess concerning race relations was London.

    SYoshonis...

Catholics and Protestants are plentiful in California. CA ,LA in particular, has the 2nd largest Jewish population next to NY/NYC. Also many Asians are Buddists in CA and finally some Californians are Gnostic or Atheists.

Maybe a gnostic is a gnome that's agnostic.

Are you sure that you didn't mean the present-day group called Gnostics that teach that God was a mad scientist (named Yaldabaoth) who created the planet on accident and killed Jesus because he was a rival? I'm sure there's plenty of them in Southern Ca (probably more than anywhere else at least...)

Or maybe the early Christian Gnostics who believed that your faith was based on some sort of religious "experience"-- rather than mere rational belief?
