I wonder who this guy is - he may be French, as he also has an article at european womens soccer do com on upcoming players from that country. Anyway, he has an article (dated 10-8-02) under the WUSA heading that is entitled "Last Girl Standing" but it is mostly about the Spirit and the Power...

What do you think of it?

That was a terribly written piece. I get increasingly tired of 'journalists' who don't know how to fact check, who have a terrible and ineffectual writing style, and who appear to have hodge-podged an article together from numerous other (and probably better) articles. And I am not exactly sure what the guy's point was. He threw an assortment of statements out there, but what exactly was his main argument.

**This is probably not what you meant by 'what do we think', huh? ;)

Yes, in part. It's just that some of what he has to say, and the way that he says it, seems more than a bit odd.

And what he said about "Italian star Tara Koleski" and (later) "ageing MacMillan" makes me wonder who he's been talking to (or what he's been smoking!)

And anyone who would describe New York as "a smaller soccer market"...
