Another good reason why the Courage are really going to miss Oleksiuk not being on their roster next season.

 

man, i hope no one else leaves. When are the waivers? Arent they supposed to be before the draft?

 

I agree with you, SWilson27roxx, and really hope that no one else leaves. I wonder if the Courage are going to move Julie Podhrasky to the 18 player roster or perhaps select a goalkeeper during the waiver draft whenever that actually takes place?

 

so as now we have 20 player roster? and we have to have a 18 player roster? Then means that two players have to go?

 

At the very least, the other two reserve players, Tracy Grose and Stacy Roeck will have to be waived. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Julie Podhrasky and perhaps several other players on the current roster have been waived as well. However, keep in mind that if no one else claims them they will all likely still have the opportunity to come back and try to earn a roster spot during the Courage camp in March.

 

ok well at least that is some good news.

 

Waiver Draft

I wonder if anyone else has heard anything about the waiver draft. It is now looking like the waiver draft is probably going to take place after the 2003 Global Draft.
