It's still a hell of a lot of extra money to find. We could buy 3 Rio Ferdinards for that! (LOL).
If anyone accesses last nights London "Evening Standard" newspaper, there is a full 2 page spread by major shareholder, Mr. Danny Fiszman going into the whole thing about it.
Apparently it's all put down to "environmental issues" such as butterfly parks, slow worms, affordable housing for local residents etc. Also maintaining the cost of the "once a month" visit by an eagle to scare away the pigeons resident at the ground; (I kid you not!).
Still as we trail Man. Ure. by $1m a game in lost revenue through gate receipts, we should make up the $150m in 5 seasons (or thereabouts). "Not all doom and gloom!"
