Quick turnaround and this time we welcome a slightly less intimidating Wolves. Same points as us and in a massive slump, they are absolutely gettable!

Hopefully Boss Mikel watched the u23s and brings in some of the EL and u23 kids to provide some midfield excitement. We have some talent coming through and we should give them gametime.

Going to go for a 3-0 win for us, with Auba, ESR and Nelson to score our goals.

    COYG!

Partey, Willian and Saka are listed as doubtful so we may see some similarities to Thursday.

I would love to see Aubu back scoring, it might open the floodgates for him. He needs it and the team needs it.

How sad that you're not expecting much from this. A win would be great, but I'm not expecting much either. Very sad.

Just watched Leeds at Everton. It was toe to toe.

Leeds went 1-0 up with 10mins to go. But did they take their foot off the gas and try to see the game out? NO they kept going for it right to the end.

I’d be very happy if we played that way. Tomorrow or sometime in the future.

Team news on the official site says Elneny is cleared to play but Kolasinac is not. Partey is out, Willian is available, and Saka is a gametime decision. Pepe suspended. Mari played 45 minutes for the u23s so could be working his way back.

Who will play on the wing in place of Pepe and Saka? Nelson?

Here's a fun training video they put out yesterday and as the title says "Martinelli is back!" :D The last half of the video is all forwards shooting, and I almost think the PR dept is just saying "see we still can put the ball in the net, really we can" Although the level of defending in this session was rather on the light side. ;)

And also from that training video I might try to infer a few things about tomorrow's lineup:

Gabriel will probably start. But partnering with whom? Luiz should be probably rested after his apparent concussion Thurs but we all know how well protocols are followed in the EPL... not. Holding's not in the video, probably given the day off, but I could imagine him starting again.

Saka & Willian featured in the video so I'd expect them to get minutes... full 90 or otherwise. Maybe in conjunction with Nelson.

El Neny was also visible, and supposedly is clear to play. So if he's truly fit post-Covid, then I could see him playing, maybe even starting.

Other players in the video that have maybe a slim chance of seeing minutes today are: Balogun & Smith-Rowe??

Similar lineup to Leeds but Luiz for Holding and Saka for Pepe. Willian remains Arteta's favorite pet.

He sits back as 5 defender and majority of passes are negative.

Why is Leno wearing the white away kit as his jersey?

I just tuned in. Some VERY serious injury it seems, at least to the Wolves player? Luiz with his 2nd straight knock to the head/brain. Let's hope it's more blood than concussion. He really shouldn't even be playing this game IMO.

Long injury delay with Luiz and a Wolves player after a corner. Must be bad, still no replay.

Does it look like we're in a 4-3-3?

I think so, Auba playing centrally.

Luiz classily offers good wishes to Raul Jimenez who must've been knocked out cold I figure. We should wish him well too.

He's one of their better more dangerous players. Without him and with Jota now gone, maybe we have a better chance? But Traore is still in there and he's always a danger. Until they hopefully have to bring him off after 60?
