USA - September 19 - 3:00pm: vs West Ham (Premier League) - Peacock Premium Canada - September 19 - 3:00pm: vs West Ham (Premier League) - DAZN Australia - September 20 - 5:00am: vs West Ham (Premier League) - Optus Sport/Somewhere In Lockdown A bit disappointing to win a match and not be given a trophy at the end of it, but I guess thats life back in the Premier League. A cruisy 3-0 win over Fulham gives us top spot, the new guys played really well, got assists, scored goals, and Robért Holdingho has just sown up the Ballon d'Or. We take on Jack Wilshere's West Ham, where Fabianksi got left out to dry by his defense on the 2 goals they conceded V Newcastle. They are looking rough, and we really need to take advantage of that as we play Liverpool, Sheffield United, Man City and then Leeds as the 4 games following. I predict another 3-0 win, or maybe we gift Jack a goal for old times sake and win 4-1, either way... COME ON ARSENAL! Disclaimer, Jack is probably still injured and won't play, so lets just take that 3-0 shall we?
Yeah, probably time for some of us to pony up. But is the rumor true that Peacock/Premium content is not compatible with the NBC Sports app on Roku?
I’m pretty sure there was late kick off games last season but I can’t remember if anywhere pre pandemic
I think during this spell the league is spreading games out to get as many on TV as possible, so as to retain the value of their contracts.
I’m not sure you can watch Peacock content in the NBCSN app even if you are paying for premium. I think the issue that @BIGHMW highlighted is that there isn’t a Peacock app on Roku. Hope I’m wrong about that because I find the Peacock app bewildering. Maybe it’ll be more obvious where to find what I want once I’ve paid for premium.
I know isn't that bullshit??? I bought a Roku Ultra set top box so I can get (almost) everything, but now, it seems like sCum-cast won't allow Roku or Amazon Fire TV users to have it because of (yes, yet again just like with pay TV providers like DISH, DirecTV or cable) another goddamn carriage dispute!!! Now I just might have to go all the way back into Best Buy and get yet another set top box (probably Apple TV or Chromecast, the only other two choices) and have to (yet again) pay vookoo $$$ for it just so I can get Peacock let alone Peacock Premium, this is bullshit!!! Roku and Amazon NEED to grow some balls (or some hair on their balls) and DEMAND to Congress to stop this BS abuse. How come only Xfinity users (Port Townsend/Jefferson County does not have Xfinity as we have Wave here) get it and yet we are all penalized for "cutting the cord" like this??? It's beginning more and more to look the same as why I can't even get ROOT Sports here in Seattle unless I go back to old, outdated cable or satellite with their draconian two-year contracts and have to pay vookoo $$$/month just to watch my goddamn Mariners. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
Its in the tiny image at the top but next time I will add them in to the main text Also, this; Just need to keep that improvement going and we should win this. I am more confident against West Ham than I was against Fulham.
For anyone like me who might put off Peacock for a while longer, you might be happy to hear that my DVR guide shows this match on NBCSN at 3 PM.
Unfortunately, doesn’t look like that’s accurate. Here’s a screen grab from the nbc sports website for the schedule that day:
IDK, we're talking about NBC here. For years they've had real problems managing their schedule clearly. So so many times my DVR guide has not matched their online guide, or their various guides have not matched each other, or they seem to make very last minute decision/changes about which game they're airing in a certain slot. In this particular case, I'm betting on us being on NBCSN TV. (partly b/c the final competitive stage of the TdF will be well done hours before our 3pm ET KO)
Turns out Peacock Premium is free if you have Comcast Internet (but you have to jump through some hoops) or Cable.
Yup that's their way of trying to drive more Comcast cable customers. But, from what I believe I've heard about Peacock you won't be able to watch this match live on Peacock, if it's aired on NBCSN TV. However if you have Comcast or any other cable/sat lineup that includes NBCSN you won't need Peacock to watch us tomorrow.
I have Hulu Live TV, and the game is showing as available to watch tomorrow. I've set the game to record in case the odd start time gets in the way of unplanned events in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday.
Good news for you, BIGHMW, as well as other Roku & Peacock users. Just in time. Peacock, Roku reach deal to add streaming service app to TV devices https://t.co/AAF0l6Z7vD— CNET News (@CNETNews) September 18, 2020
