Probably in reference to an old expression "a brace of pistols"...at a guess

One of the meanings of brace, in the dictionary-sense, is a pair of like things. I think that's where it comes from.

I think the proper form is "bouncebackosity", though "bouncebackness" is sometimes used among the uneducated classes.

I personally like backbounceness....that would be a sweet album name...good one Imposter!!!

As for the game, please stomp that ass arsenal!! Lay the smacketh down and for god's sake, will the real TH14 show up? I know TH on a bad day is better than a horsephace on a good day but he needs to blow a hole through the **************** dammit!

1-0 to the gunners. Reyes to get one since he won't have the vermin known as manu nippin' at his ankles all game.

RVP saving some blushes. No Sol for the CL game, we will need some more goals if that's the case.

Yeah, things were looking pretty bad. Looked like we were going to have two loses in a row. Luckily van Persie scored in extra time to tie it. I only saw the game on gamecast so it was a little hard to judge. Sorta got the impression Niemi did a good job. I know we all had hoped they would really come back swinging after last week's loss. Not sure if they are still affected from last week's loss or if Southhampton just played a really good game. But at least we got a draw and keep Chelski from taking over first.

    Whew!

I know I never came out and said so, but I was real uncomfortable with all those 4-0, 5-0, etc. predictions. Part of being a champion is weathering tough times, and knowing it won't always be easy.

Looks like we need some bouncebackiciousness enhancement therapy.

I don't recall seeing hardly any mention of Reyes. Not sure if he is still getting himself together after all the punishment he took last week.

Someone who listened or watch please confirm:

Equalizer was scored in the 3rd minute of injury time when only 2 minutes were announced. Getting info secondhand and don't want to spread rumours.

Gamecast said he left with a "serious injury". Does anyone have any real info on Reyes' injury. We're looking thin before the Greeks come to Highbury. At least, RVP stepped up, perhaps he'll get some good minutes off the bench.

Seriously, what happened here? I got back late from my son's practice, couldn't get a logon to Arsenal Plus, and just followed the ESPN gamecast. Did we suck? Unlucky? What about the "serious injury"? Anybody around who heard the game? It's replaying on FSW at 3EST, I believe.

Can anyone who saw the match provide some commentary/assessment? I read that Delap scored two headers. Was it poor marking on our part? It also sounds like we missed a lot of sitters not even counting the missed PK. Hope the squad snaps out of it before Tuesday.
