That's where I'm at. I'd rather work in the market with Arteta at the helm and see what happens. I don't think there is a manager alone who could make us better.

The decline from 2013 was perceptible year on year IMO - but especially after losing the title to Leicester

I am increasingly concerned Arteta might have lost the plot

Why are we playing Auba on the left and Willian in a crucial game when we know that doesn't work?

As for the squad - I think it will be evolution. If we can buy an elite CM I think it will help matters a lot. We still have too many bad contracts and guys on loan - all that needs to be rationalised

I agree with you Jitty. I have the same concerns with Mikel. I also still think he might come good. Some of his favouritism is hard to explain, but he is still a learning manager. Perhaps the bigger sin was putting him in charge of a project like this, but now that we're committed, I'd give him at least the first half of next season to prove that he has what it takes.

So many of our issues still stem from Wenger and Gazidis. Wenger resisted modernization for sooooo long. Gazidis finally got his chance, then ********ed off which lead to a stupid power struggle and Raul taking charge. That man did more damage to our club in a year than most people can dream of.

He's playing some kind of motivational mind game with Auba and I can't figure it out. He's been terrible, so I'm not sure if Arteta thinks this is a way to light a fire.

I'd agree, but I think he was putting in good effort until the benching.

Sure, but even at the end, we tore apart Atletico at home only to run into an Oblaktopus.

my thought when i saw it was he was playing to avoid giving up an away goal instead of looking to get a win.

Do you trust Arteta with transfer decisions when he still thinks Willian will come good, wanted to re sign Mustafi in the fall, and wants to re sign a soon to be 34 year old Luiz to a one year extension.
